We had a porch and sunroom fitted by APROPOS in March 2015. No problem. Both structures were amazing. However a pane smashed without warning on 25 May 2020 on the sunroom. I found out apropos went into liquidation in November 2019 - APROPOS CONSERVATORIES LIMITED Company number 05227604. An internet search led me immediately to what appears to be a successor company, VIVA PROJECTS LIMITED Company number 08599893 which was named VIVAFOLIO until December 2019. The accounts for this company are overdue. This company has refused us help stating on 26 May 2020 ‘I am sorry but VIVA are unable to repair this for you as your guarantee was with Apropos. The only thing I can suggest is to contact a local glazier’ Four of the same directors who were involved in APROPOS are involved in VIVAFOLIO were also involved in a previous company APROPOS VITRAL LIMITED which also went into liquidation. The directors have also been involved in other firms which went into liquidation e.g. one director was previously a Director of ATELIER MODULAR LIMITED Company number 06408568 – which was wound up in 2011 and dissolved 2014. A linked company APROPOS TECTONIC was also dissolved in 2011/12. Therefore there have been a number of business failures in a short period of time over around 12 years involving these directors supplying glass extensions. (It is also worth noting that the company backing APROPOS insurance scheme - Enterprise Insurance Company plc - was wound up .by the Gibraltar Court in 2019 and that company’s directors are facing a claim from the liquidator for 'Dishonest Breach of Fiduciary Duty.’) These facts are in the public domain and can be used to inform any decision to do business with APROPOS or successor companies/directors. I am happy to correct any errors.

I had windows fitted over 5 years ago by Apropos, One of the roof lights developed a leak. The roof light in question had slipped by 10mm. It's quite a large area of glass, over 4 meters in length with a join in the centre. I called Apropos and found they had stopped trading, in a last-ditch attempt I called the new company "Viva" and spoke with "Amanda" and I expected the obligatory "It's nothing to do with us" and legally they would be right, an installation done over 5 years ago by the old company that developed a fault now is not really their problem. They promised to send someone to take a look and I thought that was just a nice brush off, the next day 2 members of the installation team turned up to inspect it and 3 days later they had hired scafolding and turned up and fixed the issue, which took 3 men a full day. I'm impressed. They could have quite easily have said it was over 5 years ago and that it was fitted by another company - technically they would have been correct, but they didn't. It's rare that I leave a review unless I feel it's really warranted and in this case, I feel it is.

So happy with my bi-folding doors for my kitchen/diner, they are amazing! Lovely customer service from Jane who guided me from the start of my order to the end. I would strongly recommend VivaFolio :D

Great service from both the Customer Service team and the Design team under Viva’s banner. We could hardly believe how smoothly everything progressed following a face-to-face meeting with Mark Snowdon and Amanda Etchells. Our new conservatory is beautifully constructed and the workmanship is superb.

I had my bi fold doors fitted last May and found the fitting team professional, courteous and completed job in a day. Price of doors best by far and looks very good. I did had issues with a top seal and door, which was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

I am extremely happy with product and services by company and would highly recommend them.

We have just had a huge refurbishment completed in our home with sliding doors and windows from Vivafolio. The process and service from start to finish has been second to none. Although they do not undertake building work, the sales team recommended a builder and the installation ran seamlessly. I would highly recommend their product and service. We love our new open plan living space.

We were looking into a kitchen extension and came across Viva. The team from start to finish has helped us massively not only with the products but with drawings and designs. The designer came to see us and talked through all our options. The quality was great and we love our new extension.

I warned as many people as I could as well but my reach was not very far. Surely the issue lies with the Government Department that oversees business operation and has facilitated this director running a business. I fear that the next time will be hidden behind a different company director name, but the result will almost certainly be the same. The definition of insanity, according to Enstein, "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

And they have just done it again.

Here is a review about Viva Folio, when it was previously called Apropos. I know that they think by changing their name they can avoid detection. So, having paid a deposit for an extension and then finding that the company has put itself into receivership and no longer interested in anything other than keeping the money, would I be wrong to be upset? Viva Folio have tried 3 times to get this review removed but Trustpilot have upheld it every time. I see tat they are also doing the same with other negative reviews.

If you want poor quality service, a team who are more concerned when their next tea break is! faulty windows, incorrect measurements, and a lack of integrity throughout then,this is for you, 4 months and several errors, beware!
