Genevieve set up my phones. She was professional, helpful and friendly. Although not everything on my phones worked she made feel she cared about what she was doing and I left feeling I had had great service.
Conversely, when I returned the next day with questions about outstanding set up issues, the store manager (Joshua) was terse, unfriendly and demonstrated little technical knowledge of my phones. His suggestion was I go away and complete a system update and see how it is then. This may have been good advice but the way in which it was delivered made me feel I was a nuisance and I was wasting his time. If customer care is part of his job Joshua needs significant training and attitude adjustment. I was left feeling I would never return to Vodafone if there are 'Joshuas' employed there.

I am very disappointed with the customer service I received from Lewis at the Vodafone store in Eastbourne.
Before agreeing to the broadband contract, I specifically asked a very clear question: whether installing the new broadband would require drilling any holes in the wall. Lewis assured me that it would not and that the process would simply involve changing the hub.
Based on this information, I agreed to proceed with the contract. However, I later discovered that the installation may in fact require drilling through the wall to install fibre. Had I been given accurate information at the time, I would not have agreed to the contract, as I do not want any holes drilled in my wall.
Customers rely on sales staff to provide honest and accurate information when making decisions about contracts. Providing incorrect information in order to secure a sale puts customers in a very difficult position and creates unnecessary stress and complications.
I hope Vodafone will take this feedback seriously and ensure that customers are given clear and truthful information before agreeing to services.
