I have been a Vodafone broadband customer for since last 3 years; I started facing issues 1 year later. I am out of my Vodafone contract since October 2025. Now I left my old rented home on May 19, 2025 .When I requested for a disconnection with Vodafone on 25 April 2025 they told they could only disconnect on 26th May 2025. So I agreed, and they raised the disconnection request. I got a confirmation email and a sorry to see u go email on the same day from Vodafone. Then After 3 weeks, on May 14, they took the bill for June and send another confirmation email saying i am disconnecting services on 27th of June. When I approached the Vodafone support, they didn't have any clue they escalated to 3 different teams, wasted 3 hours in chat and later they told I wouldn't be able to disconnect because the new tenant raised an connection request with another vendor, and hence I need to continue to pay the bill until they find the issue. So I removed my debit last week, as I am not using the internet, and moved out of the rented house on 19th MAY. although I already lost the payment taken for June month .
The reason is so silly; I don't know how a reputed company can behave in a stupid way. After all these conversations, the customer care team is asking me to take a mobile data plan which looks like they are least bothered about their customer concerns rather than selling their product. Now I can see a couple of bills have been generated till July 2025 hope they will continue for an infinite number of day even though they don't have any connection. I am not sure what to do. Do I need to go to consumer court or complain about this to Ofcom? Anyone, please advice .

Georgia was wonderful couldn't fault her, despite terrible systems dragging out the process.
You'd think Vodafone would invest more in their systems for such a bug company
Again couldn't fault Georgia and the rest ot the store team

I had a fantastic experience with Vodafone broadband customer support. The specialist Eman (I hope I spelled her name correctly) I spoke to was incredibly helpful in sorting out my broadband over the phone. She guided me step by step through the installation process, and I genuinely felt her support throughout. Thanks to her clear explanations and professional guidance, the entire setup took less than 20 minutes. She truly knows her job and made everything so smooth and stress-free. I'm really glad I was connected to her and not someone else. She’s a real professional!

I was using Vodafone Broadband in my previous house. I have now moved into a new house. Before I move into a new house, I have called up the customer service and requested to move the broadband connection to my new house.
1st Call: I have been transferred to 3 different agents. 1st agent told me that they don't provide service in the new address(even though I have moved to a different address in the same town). 2nd agent told me that they do provide the service in the new address, but told me they can't continue the existing contract and I have to go for a new 24months contract(even though I have been told I can move my connection to new address with the existing contract when I took the contract). 3rd agent again said that they don't provide service in that area. This whole conversation took about 1hr 50min. I had to end the call due to some personal reasons.
2nd Call: This time only one agent(Dexter) - But, he told me they don't do the premise move and offered me a new contract for 24Months with higher prices. I was shocked to know that they don't do premise move and trying to upsell.
Since I needed internet, I agreed to go for a new contract and requested for the same price. Dexter said he will check with his manager about the price and get back to me later that day or by next day.
I have waited for 3days and no one called me.
3rd Call: I have called them to check the status. I have been told that the previous agent(Dexter) had run the credit check(without my consent) and it has been rejected and now they will not provide me with a new contract either. The agent asked me to cancel the contract. I have requested for call transfer to their supervisor. But I have been told that they can't do that, but they will raise a request for a call back from supervisor in less than 48 hours.
I have waited for 6days and nothing happened(I have already moved to a new house by this time without internet)
4th Call: Different agent(Jam) - I got fed up and requested to cancel the contract. But, the agent said she can't do that as there is an action pending on my account(supervisor call). She has told me that she will speak to the previous agent and arrange a call back in one hour(at this point I have lost the trust on Vodafone and their customer service). This never happened.
5th Call: Different Agent - I have explained the situation. He asked me the details of new house trying to run the credit check again without knowing it has already been done. I have then asked him, not to run the credit check and just cancel the contract. HE HAS DONE IT without any cancellation fee.
DON'T go for VODAFONE unless you want a stressful house move and rude customer service.
Customer Service agents will say "We understand your situation", when they actually don't.
