DO NOT USE VODAFONE
DO NOT USE VODAFONE! I recharged my SIM card, but they took the first 5€ recharge (of 10€) and couldn’t explain why. Then wanted me to pay an addition 10€ to recharge the account. Vague explanation and just told me to pay 10€ to recharge. The English call number is not open for the full day and not at all on weekend. Very poor customer service.
Misleading and charging for Fiber Optic when Coaxial was provided
We have been with Vodafone for 2.5 years paying for Fiber Optic when we actually had coaxial connection. This should be considered fraud, our speed should be 600 mbps, when in reality we had 240 in and only 100 out. Vodafone promised to fix this issue and connect us to Fiber Optic, available in our building but failed to do it and giving us the round around.
JUST ANOTHER BIG NAME COMPANY WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS
Almost 2 weeks ago i ordered a sim card online , i supplied all personal information required by them and i received confirmation of my order. However am still waiting delivery of the sim card and have not received any reply from them to 4 or 5 emails asking where my sim card is .
Vodafone mis-selling insurance
Vodafone employee in the shop in Vigo insisted that I was compelled to buy insurance on my new mobile phone that I purchased through Vodafone. He told me the first month was free, then I could cancel at anytime if I no longer wanted the insurance. After 2 months I tried to cancel the insurance and was told I could cancel, but I had to pay for a year!! I had not claimed anything against the insurance. Vodafone customer service was appalling insisting that I had agreed to the terms of the contract that I was compelled to pay for a year. I was mis-sold this insiurance by an employee who had deliberattley misinformed me - I assume so that he got his commission. This practice of scamming customers is illegal!
Tired of it
The connection works, until it suddenly stops. If you work remotely, even small interruptions matter! What makes it worse is the lack of clarity around services and changes. Plans, add-ons, adjustments — everything requires careful checking. It’s just exhausting. I’m thinking about changing provider.
I had a very negative experience with Vodafone. I believe the company takes advantage of its loyal customers with extremely high roaming and data charges.
I exchanged about six emails with the company, disputing and questioning the alleged data usage that they charged me for a very high amount. Vodafone has not been able to provide any documentation to justify these charges. Customer service has been ineffective, and my complaints have essentially been ignored.
Charging customers without being able to prove the usage is a complete lack of transparency. I strongly advise caution and recommend considering other providers before signing up with them.
I cancelled my Fiber and 2 phone plans…
I cancelled my Fiber and 2 phone plans FOUR TIMES over customer service, each time they confirmed that it has been done. I also confirmed there is nothing left to be paid. All good they say.
Still, I get invoiced 4 months after, they have also sent threats through dept collectors.
I dont even live in Spain anymore.
I contact them with customer service chat, they promise to fix they just need to call me, they ask for number, but never call. Stop responding on email or chat, if I call I have to redo all process again, still they don't fix it. They LIE ALL THE TIME.
Not recommended
Not recommended - Vodafone add a 20 Euro fine to your bill if it's not paid on time, meaning that often your bill is double what you expect. Nothing wrong with a surcharge, but 20 Euros is ridiculous.

Don't go near this company!
Vodafone charged for a premium rate package for 10 years with virtually no coverage. They never informed me about cheaper options as these became available. Online customer 'service' is ineffective and hugely time consuming, agents are frequently rude, obstructive and ignorant. This company is a joke, do not go anywhere near them.
Disappointing Experience with Vodafone
I’ve been with Vodafone for a while, but I’m seriously considering ending my contract after what’s happened recently. Last month, I was shocked to see that they charged me +90 euros for roaming, even though I had not used roaming services. When I called to inquire, they told me it was because I had used roaming in Andorra. The problem is, the internet didn’t even work for me in Andorra! So I couldn't have used roaming.
Now, just this month, I’ve been charged another 80 euros for roaming, even though I haven’t left Spain at all. I have a contract that’s supposed to cost 10 euros per month, and these random, unexplained charges are completely unacceptable.
I’ve reached out to Vodafone multiple times, but they keep pushing back and offering no real solution. This feels like a clear scam, and I’m done. I’m going to cancel my contract and pursue legal action because this is unacceptable behavior.
I would not recommend Vodafone to anyone based on this experience. They seem to overcharge for services you didn’t even use, and their customer service has been less than helpful they just try to sell you something ...
Great service, great roaming options
Vodafone Spain has been a great experience. Prices are very competitive, and the customer service is genuinely helpful. When my physical SIM stopped working while I was abroad, they quickly helped me switch to an eSIM — smooth and stress-free.
I also really appreciate the roaming options included in the pay-as-you-go plans, which are very convenient for travel. The only thing that would make it even better is having an English language option in the app.
Incorrect Information From Vodaphone
I contacted Vodaphone customer services 912 222 123 on two separate occasions to check that my contract had expired and if I moved my number to another provider there would be no additional costs. This included specifically asking if there were any outstanding payment for my current mobile. I was informed no! One month later a bill for 82.03 Euros arrives. THIS COMPANY IS APPALLING... When I wanted to renew the contract as there were online deals, I was informed these were for new customers only....... I was offered a ONE EURO A MONTH discount. I moved to Orange and saved 50%...
Great service
We have had an issue with slow internet but put off doing anything about it because our Spanish isn't up to technical stuff. We used the English number and, though the technician didn't speak English, they had someone there to translate. When they understood the n ature of tour problem they promised that a technicican would call. He has just been and resolved out issue. Fantastic service, I couldn't ask for better. And the internet is running like a whippet.
STAY AWAY Vodafone
It is impossible to talk to a person I have pre-paid 60 euros and they can't get me online and don't answer how I can get my money back. Unscrupulous company. STAY AWAY.
Grancanaria 5G speed never over 30 mb…
Grancanaria 5G speed never over 30 mb most of the time like 3 mb what a joke DO NOT BUY VODAFONE here.
Cancelled my subscription after three…
I cancelled my subscriptions after three months, but only transferred one number. Despite confirming that I hadn’t used the other services, they demanded that I pay for three additional months. After settling the final bill, they then charged me €200 for a technician’s visit, which was never mentioned upfront. And as if that wasn’t enough, they hit me with yet another €200 fee.
When you cancel your services and only transfer one number to a new provider, it doesn’t mean you’ve cancelled one service, it means that have cancelled all your other services. Vodafone should have understood this, especially since they themselves confirmed that I wasn’t using the other services. Yet, they are now trying to charge me for services I no longer use, claiming I didn’t cancel everything. This is not only dishonest, but it’s also a blatant attempt to exploit their customers.
As a single mother, this behavior is nothing short of shameful. Vodafone has shown absolutely no regard for customer care, transparency, or honesty. Instead of offering support or understanding, they are focused on finding ways to take more money from you, even when they know you’re not using their services. This is exploitation at its worst. Stay far, far away from this company—they should be ashamed of themselves for treating customers this way.
Low service level an no desire to work
I wanted to port my phone number from first operator and have initiated a procedure over internet. Got an sms that portability can not be completed because some technical data is missing in the database. I came to the official store and was told that first I have to be on contract with my previous operator. I went to the next operator sore and have initiated the port procedure, there is no need to be on a contract with previous operator which sounds strange. Next day I got a call from customer service to check the details. I started explaining to them that they have just lost a client and they just hang up the phone. Bravo Vodafone Spain. The issue is in local people who are not willing to work at all.
