Constant useless calls from Vodafone

I was a client of Vodafone and was paying 30EUR a month for a contract of sim card with them. The called me daily to provide me with "Offers" and when asked to stop they said they had to check my line was still valid. I have since gotten fed up and switched my contract to another company and again was met with horrible customer service where they purposely cancelled the transfer of my number. I have had to attempt again to change the number. They have since begun spam calling me multiple times a day. This company is terrible. It is borderline harassment as even after being told to stop the calls they continue as they clearly don't care. They have terrible customer service. In short... they want you to pay them but then harass you daily for the mistake of being their client. I suggest going with any other company as a service provider.

What a pathetic outfit this is

What a pathetic outfit this is. Customer service non existing! Rude staff! The router always stopped working! I asked them to keep my old number because it was a work number they said not a problem. Hmm what they did was give me a new number with unlimited every thing and my existing number to a landline instead!! You couldn't write this! I called 10 times a day only to have the phone put down on me. Went to the Vodafone shop....no help. Called again today after 1 week has passed since I cancelled the 2 routers 1 for work one for home. I was told I would receive an email in the next 48hrs with a code so I can return to the Vodafone shop. No emails!! The conversation went like this, we haven't supplied you with a router to your home address and the work one has been cancelled so you can keep the 5g router and we will charge you for it!!!

If I could put zero I would

If I could put zero, I would. Worst experience with a mobile or telecoms provider I've ever experienced. They kept adding additional charges to my bills and the customer service just says they can't do anything about it. Besides this the coverage is bad/ spotty, didn't work in my apartment, had issues in my area or whenever busy. If you move to Spain use Movistar or DIGI (same network). That way coverage is good, and customer service billing has no issues. So happy to be free of you vodafone :)

When I moved to DIGI, Vodafone proceeded to call me every 30 to 60 minutes throughout the day from different numbers to try and offer me incentives to stay. They did this from the moment they were told I was moving until I had left and moved. I told them repeatedly to delete my details and stop harrasing me. Which they refused to do. I blocked every number that called me, but they kept on using new numbers. I don't have the time to go through a reporting to the regulatory bodies on this behavior - it's shocking.

Went in the San Javier shop to purchase…

Went in the San Javier shop to purchase a fibre package. This offer came with a new mobile phone or other gift options. Chose a new mobile although did not really need one.
Asked if I could pay extra to obtain a better phone and paid over €100 to do so.
Porting of number was not done on time as stated we were previously on a PAYG with Lobster, not a contract.
Number was ported a couple of days later.
On receiving monthly invoice found I was being charged €5.50 per month over the 2year contract for a balance on the phone. Went back to the San Javier shop and was told because our previous was on a PAYG not a contract, the free phone offer does not apply. We were never told this and this is not stated on the promotional leaflet they gave us and still have.
Missled and missold.
Cannot get any satisfaction from the store.
Also, apparently virus protection is free for the 1st three months then it is €1 per month. Again never told this but it is in the small print inthe contract which you don't get to read before verbally signing, all in Spanish anyway so need to translate when receiving by email later.
Will never recommend Vodafone and will be cancelling when contract is up.
Avoid this company, do not believe what the salespeople tell you and once you have a contract you are stuck with whatever hidden terms are in it or what you have been missled about.
Vodafone, you are a terrible company to deal with.
Had to give you one star as not possible to give you none.
Further to above, had many conversations with Vodafone online. Even though I provided everything they asked for, including promotional leaflet, still no positive response. They state that the shop is a franchise and to again approach them. Complete waste of time dealing with Vodafone or their franchised shop. Never ever use Vodafone.

Scammed by Vodafone sales agent

A Vodafone sales agent contacted me couple of days ago and sold a 12-months contract for 40€ a month (which is a very good price). I signed the contract digitally (which I didn't even see because the agent claimed he needs to change these something and he would send it later on, instead he sent me, as i can see now, a fake contract preview). And today still I am waiting for my actual contract to appear in my Vodafone cabinet, and asking support to provide it to me (without any luck). The Vodafone technician came and installed a fiber internet and gave me 2 sim-cards, still I didn't see my contract, which the customer support assure should be available soon. After contacting different departments i am now certain there is no such price as 40€ (as was advertised by the sales agent), but 65€, and I guess I will see the real contract only when the 14-days cancellation period ends. Suspecting this I tried to cancel my contract, but Vodafon contact person says it's not possible if the fiber is already installed (I feel this is actually a violation of my customer rights).
I am going to file a complaint to Vodafone officials and open a fraud case in the Police, and for sure not going to pay a cent to those scammers. Never thought that it's possible to get scammed by such a large and famous company, but here we are.

Stopped your internet service - but you still have to pay!

I’ve been paying €50 a month for internet service at my rental property for the past 3.5 years. Suddenly, in June 2024, the internet stopped working entirely. I went to the service provider's store to seek assistance, but they told me they couldn’t help in person—I had to call a technician, from home. This was a highly inconvenient process, and it took until July 2nd to finally get in touch with someone.

The technician then informed me that the company had stopped providing service in June because we were using a 4G connection. They told us we needed to upgrade to a 5G plan, which would cost an additional €25 per month, if we wanted to continue receiving internet.

I decided to cancel the service altogether. However, as I had to do this in person and was traveling at the time, I could only manage to cancel it in mid-July. Despite this, I am now being contacted by a law firm demanding payment for June and July, even though the company had already confirmed they WERE not providing internet during those months.

This is outrageous—they're worse than thieves! How can they charge for a service they admitted to not providing? Stay away from this company if you want reliable service and honest customer support.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever. When I finally decided to move to Movistar, they issued my the last invoice and now I'm unable to even pay it, because there is no possibility on their website. I don't wanna mention countless negative experiences throughout the way, e.g. that if you don't pay your invoice the same day (in my case EUR 17), they charge you EUR 20 for each day of delay in payment. Terrible customer experience, do not even think about it

DONT USE VODAFONE!!!!!!!!!!

DONT USE VODAFONE!!!!!!!!!!

I had the worst experience of my life!!!!

This horrible company have the worst app and customer service!

How can a big company like that not fix a bug in their payment system? Before the payment due date, the app 'stops' working, and you end up being late with the payment, or the payment section doesn’t work properly. Than, you need to
Pay extra 30 euros because you were late!

I hope I never hear about this horrible company again. Please, don’t make the same mistake as me, don’t use this horrible company!

Stay away from Vodafone

Stay away from Vodafone, they will sign you up on 2 year contract and give you a phone and charge you for it without telling you. You have 7 days to cancel the phone and return it but I didn’t know I was being charged for the phone until I got my first bill and then it was too late to return it. It was suggested by the guy at the Vodafone store to simply just sell it. Since Vodafone is a franchise, unless you go to the original store where you made all your transactions, no one in a different store is willing to help you. Ayuda al cliente is bogus.

This refers to their Ondara store.

This refers to their Ondara store.
They are extremely short staffed, even on fiesta days when they know they will be busy. There was one service agent on duty and a manager who didn't work out front. I waited 30 mins to top up my sim, which takes one minute. There attitude to There customers is appalling.

Had a terrible experience

Had a terrible experience. Was told when signing up that if I left I would only have to pay a proportional amount to leave which would be less after 6 months. After 6 months i try to leave and then told it always costs 150€ flat rate. Then I call and they inform me that I was put on two mobile lines (which I didn’t even know from signing up as it wasn’t made clear!) and that due to some kind of ‘10€ off’ signing up, I had an extra 44.99€ charge to leave. Again, none of this was told to me! I signed up in the Sitges store and also spoke to one very rude male member of staff on English helpline, the other was friendly though I have to say. Would definitely not recommend. Not clear, hidden charges and difficult to deal with.

‘Thank you for trusting Vodafone’

Vodafone is, hands down, the worst mobile company I have ever encountered. I have been on a prepaid plan for a while, and recently decided to get wifi at home and switch my line to a contract. On their website, the prices are listed: 300mb fibre + 1 cellphone line with 50GB and unlimited calls and SMS for a grand total of €40, with an additional line costing €5.75. I attempted to apply for internet online, but the order was canceled because I’m “already a customer.” So, for all my years of loyalty, I instead had to go through customer service. After 3 hours of painfully slow communication, I was required to sign one document for the first cellphone contract (which was €17). I was lead to believe that this was just part of the process, but no sooner had I singed I was told that the total amount for the internet + cellphone would be €52. When I sent screenshots of the advertised services, the person I was communicating with informed me that 52 was a good price because I was getting all of the “benefits” but failed to explain (despite multiple requests for more information on these mysterious “benefits”) what benefits I would receive. I shared a screenshot of the original deal I had signed up for that they had canceled, and was again told that 52 was a good price for 2 lines and internet. I was told that if I wanted that package as advertised, I should order it online, but the prepaid space on the Vodafone website doesn’t allow you to order new subscriptions, and applying from their site without signing in just makes them cancel. Long story short - because I have been a loyal paying customer for the last year and a half; I do not qualify for any deals and I should, in fact, pay more than I would as a new customer. In the end, I tried to cancel everything, but guess what? Now I’m on a Vodafone cellphone contract which I can’t get out of for at least a month, when I’ll have to spend another 3 hours of my life trying to convince them to let me go. To add insult to injury, I’ve lost the 190GB of accumulated data that I was using as my internet at home as a result. Do yourself a favour and go with someone else. I managed to find a different service who were friendly and helpful, with no hidden costs, and I will instead be paying €42 a month for a 500mb fibre line with 2 lines each with more data. Vodafone is a great option if all you need is a SIM card while travelling, but that’s it. They literally say, “thank you for trusting Vodafone” in their SMS and emails. It seemed odd to me at first, but now I get it.

Their customer service agents are…

Their customer service agents are extremely unprofessional, rude and behaving badly.
They took my money on the phone for the last bills and then it wasn't marked in their system. Upon this Vodafone tried to rob my bank account multiple times and today threatened to end my services. I've tried to reach them out many times before and the Spanish agents were hanging up the calls and no support in English. When I finally connect with English speaking agents recently, they were super rude. One of them (Irma) was yelling: you got to pay Ok!? You have to pay, that's it!!! You understand?!.
I was shocked the she speaks comfortably. I had to warn her and had a heated disrespectful arguments. The agent was assuming that I'm a bad dude who does not want to pay and she did not listen what I got to say in the first place. Then she was like "anything else I can help you with today? Have a good day!.
Later, finally another agent (after so many calls that I made to get another agent) admitted that the system is wrong and that I don't need to pay and apologized for the behavior of her colleagues (3 other colleagues behaved bad and showed attitude).
I can't believe this is Vodafone. And no one takes responsibility for the stress that they cause me and the consequent health issues.
Don't deal with those mafia, these are bunch of gangs.

Worst ever service

Worst ever service , customer care support engineers are trained to just escape from addressing any technical issues, they are just trained to ask customers to restart the router and that's all they know.

This is the worst internet company…

This is the worst internet company ever. I don't recommend it at all. Please read the reviews before purchasing any of their services. I had an extra charge on my bill and I didn't know where it is coming from. I contacted the customer support and they told it is because of the late invoice payment. Although the charge was on "non payment" in the contract. Horrible customer services, worst internet provider.
When you go for purchasing their services they will not tell you about this information at all. At that time they're just trying to have your bank details so that they can charge you for it.
