The staff ranging between the local…
The staff ranging between the local shops and the online help are nothing short of RUDE! I am an existing customer, looking to purchase something else, and they have made me decide to cancel my services with them altogether. I either get hung up on, if I ask if there is anyone that can help me in English (I don't speak Spanish YET - just English, German and some French). They either hang up rudely with a complete arrogance of 'how dare I ask them' to try to converse in the international language that is English, or they direct me to a number that no-one ever picks up. It's about time this company gave their staff a bloody good kick up the butt - okay, they don't speak another language, but there's no need to be so damn rude about it! They are supposed to be an international company, so it's about time they started behaving like it.
Vodafone steals money
I have decided to change operator from Vodafone to another company about three weeks ago. During this period I have discovered that Vodafone treats their customers like nothing. I have to make multiple calls to tell what I want to do. I saw that Vodafone refused to transfer my number to another company, which is completely illegal.
After waiting 3 weeks I decided to put 25 euro into my vodafone account because I can't leave without communication at all and next day vodafone at the end transferred the number.
Question is simple. Where is the money that I paid one day ago?
And here is the answer from the company "we will not be able to return credit on a canceled line."
So they just appropriated my money...
I can't post link in this review but if you search google "vodafone took money from my account es" you will see many cases.
The worst customer service!
The worst customer service!! Our prepaid SIM card never worked and despite numerous messages and promises from customer service it never worked. We even went to one of their own shops but they don’t help when the service is ordered online☹️☹️☹️
The worst company I ever had
The worst company I ever had, constant internet drops, permanent contracts, they charge you more money if you don't realize it, they try to charge you for the basic support service, just avoid.
Liars and exploiters
I bought a phone that needs an eSim and Vodafone España is doing whatever they can to make it hard for pre paid customers to change for an eSim. Basically I went to EVERY official Vodafone distributor in Barcelona and ALL of them told me that they could only give me an eSim if I'm a contractor. This is BS and trying to take advantage to upsell.
All of them (sales people at the official stores) said that I had to go and order my eSim in the store in Madrid. I went there and they said I had to pre order the eSim through the website which is a lie because you can't do it.
No complaints about the internet…
No complaints about the internet service, but I am at my wits end trying to return my broadband equipment. I took the stuff to my local store. Didn't want to know! Gave me a five digit number to call for return instructions that didn't work. Followed online instructions and attempted to fill in the form required for them to pick up from my address. When attempting to fill in the "province " section of my address, the red circle with the diagonal bar appears so it can't be selected. This results in the whole address being rejected! I have since sent ALL my details in a reply direct to Vodafone but I am still not sure if my stuff will be collected. Useless company!!!
VERY rude (English speaking) customer…
VERY rude (English speaking) customer service - cutting you off in a patronizing, condescending tone and louder-than-necessary voice, using literally the "do-not-interrupt-me" phrase when you try to ask for clarification while they're doing a fast-track run-down of how inefficient and how much of a rip-off some of their services are! Talking down to clients, having no patience, and ending your answer with a sarcastic "hallelujah" and a scornful laugh equals a -100 in customer service!
The name of the so-called "customer service agent" that attended me via the English line at around 16:30 on April 10 was Re(a)gan (or something similar).
The link to the review form that I received through an SMS following the call only leads to the chat bot TOBI, so that doesn't work either.
I worked in customer service for 5+ years and this is my first ever complaint, so the fact that I went so far as to actually call the "complaints" number I found on the website to get info on how to file a complaint speaks volumes of how bad the service I got was. Extremely disappointing service overall with multiple penalty charges as a result of me not receiving notifications due to (technical) issues on your end. Awful client treatment by live agents was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I'll definitely be canceling my subscription and will advise anyone who asks against using your services.
Horrible service
Horrible service. I am waiting for simple activation of Apple Watch OneNumber for more than 1 month.
They only act when you submit a ticket, help desk staff have contradictory opinions and suggest I go to the shop. Shop sends me back to the customer service. At one point I managed to connect the shop and help desk, and they had an argument… well, I think the only way is to write to Apple directly and complain now.
Very bad internet

It is 2023 we live in the EU and vodaphone can't speak english. The Visigoths could speak english, the Russians can speak English, New zealand maoris can speak english Koreans can speak english Mexicans can speak english, get on the same network ffs.
Phone calls didn't work at all
Phone calls didn't work at all! Network coverage is bad. SmartNet is permanently enabled, and impossible to disable it even when you not pay for this bloatware. Support is usless, they think that if they can't reach you by phone ( open case that phone calls didn't work) than problem is sloved.
Cheap tricks
I got offer from their agent with discount of 15 euros (70 euros original offer, 55 with discount). Discount never applied but they managed to increase price with some antivirus software for 6 euros. Before I canceled contract price was 76 euros per month and inicial offer was 55 euros. They are aggressive liars and scammers which hunt you over phone until you give up.
Vodafone is a FRAUD COMPANY
VODAFONE ES FRAUD COMPANY thieves. Hiding behind the franchise wall. Eliminate them from SPAIN. First, they send you an invoice that doesn't exist in my profile. Then they ask you to pay, but how I can pay if I can not contact them if my profile shows a different amount to pay? I invite people to protest in front of FRANCHIZE shops which they say has nothing to do with Vodafone invoices
Ridiculous
Ridiculous, very bad service. On website and customer care says that it easy to convert you prepaid sim-card to esim in any store, but when you come, and managers know that you have a prepaid tariff they just say that it is out of stock and ret rid of you, push you out of the store. The same in all stores. You lose your time and managers doesnt care. Also all managers just try to get extra money on you, And completely not interested conditions and prices on official website and customer cares. It is completely different worlds: what marketing and ads announce and what specialists do in store. It would be good for Vodafone to check their services with mystery shoppers and as well make automatic generation qr codes for esims online or in apps, as modern tech companies do in other countries and as do competitors
Worst worst worst worst.
Worst worst worst worst.
They didn't give my account !!!!
I came there four times they told we are going to fix it. Lie.
Never go there at all.
One of the worst ever telcom companies…
One of the worst ever telcom companies in Spain.
A telcom company needs to compromise and deliver a service and agreed price. It´s easy. Not very demanding.
I enjoyed 6 years of a decent service with them. I even recruited 5 clients for them among my relatives and friends. Price was very good and service (phone+internet) was OK.
When I moved into a different location 100km away everything changed. Although reassuring that nothing would change, everything did.
- My price went from 30-40€/monthly into 54€ which was ok since I added an additional cell line. But 3-months later it jumped into 128€/month because they deleted all my benefits and discounts. It took me 4 months and more than 15-hours calls to stopped them and recover the money they took from me. But now my monthly rate was 72€/month. For the next 10-months there was extra-invoicing and several mistakes every second month which took me on the phone an average of 5 to 6 hours per month.
Obviously I decided to quit.
I called them to advise them about me leaving. They would not even try to keep me after 8-9 years as a loyal customer.
I changed to Movistar and phoned Vodafone after to make sure ALL lines and services where down.
For my surprise they started charging 11€/month for third line. I phoned them to tell that this charge was wrong, I had no third line so delete the 2-months charged. They did not reply (1-sec miss-call) and starting threating and menacing me to pay the 22€. i told them I had a call with them to confirm everything was down and they erased that call and demanded to pay for a service I did not had. After few days I decided to close this issue because they are a giant and I had all chances to lose. I went to pay 5 days later and they already demanded 48€.
What kind of interest is that????
They are thieves and they play with you.
NEVER gonna trust vodafone again.
I recommend you not to.
Better paying a bit more and having a much trustworthy company
This is the worst Wifi connection ever
This is the worst Wifi connection ever!! I have been traveling all around the world and I never experienced such a bad wifi.
It says that the wifi is 600mbps but they don't say that it is ONLY when you use the internet cable.
I work from home and I cannot take call with my clients because the wifi is so bad. I have to connect from my 4G to my computer. DONT TAKE VODAFONE SPAIN IT IS REALLY REALLY BAD WIFI !!!!! I will pay 150€ to break the contract and get another provider. SHAME!!!!
Vodafone is basically a robbery…
Vodafone is basically a robbery company. I've had a contract with them for one year without bigger issues, when I needed to add a SIM card that's when the problems started (this was June). The guy in the store told us that if we change a contract for my girlfriends name, we can create a new contract with better offer, so that's what we did. The contract says 43e (internet + SIM), however I paid that amount only once, each month the payments started increasing, 50e, 60e, 70e. Additionally, and this is the biggest joke, I found out end of September that they are actually taking money also for the previous contract.
So we went to another Vodafone store, and the new guy said that additional payments are for some line Red SIM card, which we never booked neither activated. Furthermore, they told us that our previous contract is not completely terminated because the guy from Vodafone didn't take the router when he was changing from old to new one, and that we were supposed to bring it, and that's why they were still charging us for previous contract, where we lost almost 100e, because Vodafone made a mistake. So we opened a claim, and we didn't have a response for 3 months!
So we went again, and another guy told us completely different story, that suddenly we are paying some Sports TV channel, and some SecureNet package, which we never ever heard about, but it was magically activated in September.
Yesterday, we went to the original Vodafone store to find out what is happening. The guy finally managed to deactivate (after 4 months!!) the random packages they "accidentally" activated, and agreed to refund the extra amount they were charging us for several months (around 72e). However, they told us that we can forget about the 100e for charging us extra for the old contract, the worker said that Vodafone made a mistake, but he cannot do anything with it anyway! So basically they are totally okey charging two internet contracts for exactly same address. Additionally when we were making the contract, I specifically asked him if we can change the name in contract back (we had to change it due to this "special deal"), he said that of course after 3 months we can change it without issues, and now when we went there, he said that yes of course, but we have to pay 180e for that! The workers there are telling you lies just to sell you things. Customer service is terrible, it takes them months to investigate why are they charging you extra, and each store worker says something else, total joke.
I think 96% of bad reviews says it all!!!!
I think 96% of bad reviews says it all! Do not use Vodafone Spain!
I have been with them for over 12 years (unfortunately out of necessity) and every year when it´s time to renew, I have the same issues. Getting endless calls from different departments where noone knows what the other person has said until I mention it and they "check the system". One person lying more than the next one. (my wife works for Vodafone UK so she tells me what´s supposed to happen)
My latest experience below in reverse chronological order:
René 16.01.23
Sandra calls me today, she offers me a contract revision for €27 p/m. I tell her that I already have a revised contract and a review done. She tells me that she can only do for 24 months. I tell her that it is not what was agreed on on the recording. She tells me that I have to call 22122 that she can't help me.

Vodafone's service in Spain
Vodafone's service in Spain, when it comes to WIFI with the modem in the house, is really really bad! We LOST wifi at least 2-3 per week! We had to turn OFF/ON the modem but lost the connection. Not helpful while working from home using different tools. Also, when watching a good movie at night...all of sudden you have no connection! Trying to resolve this through ENDLESS calls and emails, but after 5/6 months I canceled my account!! Phone connection and calls were OK, but the wifi was the worst I ever had anywhere. We changed to SIMYO and for the last several months I have had much FASTER upload and download and I have never turned off/on the modem. Another PLUS is it is around 10€ per month cheaper than Vodafone!!! Hurra.
