Obscure
We recognise the problems others describe. We thought we had paid for full insurance, but we still had to pay extra when we went to get the car at Europcar. But we got the biggest problems when we had an car accident. We had rented the car through Vroomvroomvroom and thought we had asked for full assurance. Luckily, Europcar told us that we had not, so we paid again and got full assurance. When we had the car accident, it turned out that we were not insured at Europcar nor Vroom, but a third compagny called Allianz. So we had to pay a lot of money to Europcar (3.800 AUD). I am sure we will get it from Allianz, but it is a lot of money to disburse.
All the details might be in the contract, but it is far too obscure to understand. Next time I will make sure that it is the samme compagny where I rent the car, get the car and the car is insured

Hi! Thank you for taking the trouble to post your review on Trust Pilot and for allowing us the opportunity to apologise here for the issues which made your trip less than perfect. For some reason we missed this... The optional offer for Rental Vehicle Excess (RVE) is offered by our partner Hiccup Insurance and it is an alternative to Excess Reduction products offered at the counter. The car rental company representative may tell you that you are not covered by Hiccup Insurance however this is a common ploy to up sell products and earn extra commissions from Customers. You can collect your car without purchasing additional protection products from the car rental company. The RVE Insurance product is a reimbursement insurance to cover the rental vehicle excess liability when hiring a rental car. If you damage the car while it is in your possession, the car rental company will assess the cost to repair the damage incurred and will charge your credit card. You would then lodge a claim to obtain reimbursement of the assessed claim value. We've taken on board your comment and we are currently working on a revised offering that is clearer. mixed feelings
If you book with this company you might end up in a very complex company network. Vroomvrroomvroom directed us to motrohomerepublic who offerd us the "real value hitop" company offer, which doest excist but ended up to be cheapa campa which belongs to apollo, --> Very Complicated!
In our case everything was fine but the original "all inclusive price" was doubled in the end by a lot of fees and extras which were added up by apollo.
But if any of these companies get a problem you might at problem!

Don't use this company very bad service
This company is making money because of the commission they get to direct car suppliers. They are cheap company already discounted on their comparison but actually the car rental is cheaper when you go directly renting car from the supplier
