This is my last ever VW. I have a VW T6 shuttle 2019 T6, 30k on the clock. MOT and 3rd service picked up on a crank shaft seal weep and slight water pump leak, my garage of choice a registered VW... See more

HORRIBLE PLEASE STAY AWAY- VOLKSWAGEN PRESTIGE WODONGA
Volkswagen PRESTIGE WODONGA - I could give zero if there was an option available. We purchased a used car(Golf) for $17800 year 2018 mileage was 38K. So we had to do 1 regular service(spend around 500) and 1 major service(spent around 1700) till date. The car ran out of warranty 3-4 months ago. Unfortunately, during the Christmas holiday the car broke down because of the oil leak from the engine. We were coming back home from the holiday destination and we couldn't find a single service center open due to being shut for Christmas holiday. We had to drive the car to come home because we had work. We towed the car to Volkwagen prestige from Albury and informed them the situation. They did the check and found the cam shaft has to be replaced and will cost $2200. So we requested them to compensate us by giving discount on the service as the major service was done 5 months ago. Today they rang and advised the request for the discount didn't approve because we drove the car when it was overheated. Well they expect us to tow the car to Wodonga(270km) and want us to walk home from Seymour. These are some bunch of incompetent people who is running the show there and don't take any responsibility after ripping off thousands of dollars. We had hundred of other options available but we chose Volkswagen because of the good faith and this is how they are repaying us. Please please ignore buying old car from Volkswagen Prestige unfortunately they will give you trouble in the long run and charge you fortune to fix them.
Modestas Sinkevicius
Hi, my salesmen is Modestas Sinkevicius at Watford VW centre.. he was professional, informative, understood my queries and was helpful though the whole process!
Would definitely recommend Modestas to purchase a car from VW for an easy helpful stress free experience
We have got two Volkswagen cars
We have got two Volkswagen cars. I have had my cars serviced at two main dealers in Kent. when i take my cars for a service the staff at Dartford VW and the Staff at Otford VW. They are very unfriendly. And make you feel that you are doing them a favour. My son who is young has been with me on a couple of occasions has even commented on this. i will not be using VW anymore.
Don’t go to VW WORCESTER
So my car came into the garage last week due to a software fault, I was called on Monday to say my car is fixed and I can come and collect it. I collected it, they told me that there was no issues and they fixed my fault, then on Wednesday evening the same faults happened, spoke to Becky in servicing and she was very rude to me and told me that the showroom is about to shut and there is nothing they can do for me, then I spoke to the service manager and he took in my car on Wednesday evening and they have had my car since then. I spoke to Becky again this afternoon (Friday) and she told me that the software update failed and it would be a week till my car would be fixed, then I spoke to the service manager again and he told me a completely different thing. I also asked if I could have an automatic as I am struggling to drive the manual car you gave me, I haven’t driven a manual in months and I keep stalling it which is not really safe and I have a young child. He said that there is nothing he can do he will call me on Monday. I’m not being funny but in your hold music you say you have excellent customer service, but I am definitely not getting good customer service!!! I would encourage people to go elsewhere, definitely do not go to VW WORCESTER
VW Allspace fitted with redundant levers that VW won't sort out
I took delivery of a new 21 plate VW Tiguan Allspace in July 2021. On collection from the dealer I noticed a couple of levers in the boot which didn't appear to do anything - the dealer didn't know what they were for and suggested I contacted VW UK customer services to find out. My hunch was that they were legacy levers to drop the rear two seats (seats 6 + 7) which was no longer required as they had moved the lever to the top of the actual seat in the boot, rather than the side of the boot.
After a very protracted series of emails and phone calls with VW UK and them trying all sorts of guessing games as to what the levers might be for (having designed the vehicle one would have expected that they could have said straight away) they seem to agree that the two levers in the boot of the Tiguan Alpsace are in fact legacy and redundant.
I asked VW to supply & fit trim plates to plate off the levers that don't do anything as otherwise it's just confusing and eventually someone is going to snap them off trying to use them. I was told by Jay at VW Customer Support that I need just to tell people not to try to use the levers! I responded to Jay that as an architect I don't get houses built with loads of power sockets and light switches which aren't actually wired in and tell my clients not to use them! Jay effectively said, well sorry, that's how it is, he's asked around and VW aren't prepared to sort this out and I would need to complain to the Motor Ombudsman. Which I have done.
It's a shame that VW is working against its dealers in destroying goodwill, but unfortunately they are and I would obviously need to think long and hard about buying another vehicle from the VW Group stable.
Call me old-fashioned but if I make a mistake with a design I sort it out - not just step back, say sorry and shrug and tell my clients they've just got to suck it up.
67tkm Volkswagen Caddy engine broke
I have Volkswagen Caddy - I bought new one and now it is a bit more than 3 years old and 67000 km driven. Car has been always serviced at Volkswagen authorized company.
Engine just broke and Volkswagen tells I need to pay +800 euros to fix it. I asked them what I should have done to avoid this. They told you would have not been able to avoid this and this is just bad luck.
Arrogant brand. My friend just ordered new Volkswagen and we try to cancel purchase now.
I bought a used car from Marshall…
I bought a used car from Marshall Volkswagen Milton Keynes back in February and on Handover one of the car mats had a cut so the Sales Executive promised he would posted a new one out to me, I hadn't heard anything for a period of time so I contacted the dealership and spoke with Kelly Clarke on the Service team who was fantastic.
Kelly emailed me straight back and arranged for the mat to be sent out which has now arrived.
First class service.
I own a 30-year old Multivan and boy…
I own a 30-year old Multivan and boy how good vibes it gives. All parts still work super well, even after 320k miles. The whole interior with swivel chairs, table, foldout bed and fridge is just genius work and creates so many possibilities for festivals & camping trips!
We had a volks wagon for some time
We had a volks wagon for some time, it broke down quite a lot, but maybe it's because of the high usage that we used it for, hours and hours on the motorways made it overheat a lot, maybe we dont put enough water in it to cool things down.
Woeful.
Woeful.
Vw caddy 69k and the well known issue with the 1.6 injectors fail. (Vw know these are faulty but never had to recall them as it wasn’t classed as dangerous)
Call into vw and they’ll not offer any support so was given a number to raise a complaint, the complaint was taken and assured 24/48 hour response…
8 days later I get a call from someone who wasn’t able to deal with my issue but basically said I was on my own with the issue.
I’ll never buy a vw vehicle again and my works fleet options will be looked at ASAP.
Arrogant VW still to learn humility around its customers
I find it presumptuous of this arrogant carmaker that it puts a time limit on when its customers can comment on its service; good or bad, praise or criticism.
And the terms in which feedback is asked for, display a kind of proud selfishness: "we are pleased that we were still able to support you during this challenging time." Surely that is why we pay you, VW, the exorbitant sums you demand. Listen VW: being able to "support" me is no more and probably considerably less than I expect for the amount you charge.
A little more humility and a bit less arrogance with customers, would go a long way to restoring your reputation.
giant concern for the production of cars
Solid cars at affordable prices
VW truly shows the german superiority in the car making business, offering quality cars at prices that regular people can afford. Get yourself one and never look back.
Get a volkswagen!
Well damn, this website is great, i went through and its simple in design and very easy to use, and you can buy a Volkswagen easily, especially their newer models!
Great website, keep up the good work
I had to pay for an expensive repair
I had to pay for an expensive repair, while it should have been under guarantee. I had to bring it to court to get my hundreds of euro's back.
(VW Belgium)
I have the Golf R
I have the Golf R. Very good Hatchback! love this brand and can recommend to all my friends
Golf 4 <3
My absolute favourite car. Not too big, but fast and steers so smoothly.
Kind of a shame
For a german-built car brand, VW offers solid construction but nothing else. Should be held to a higher standard.
Brand of decent cars
Considering they were originally funded by Hitler, VW offer some decent cars at decent prices. Assistance isn't the best, but german built things are meant to last.
