This is an excellent place to rent a Volkswagen, you book the car of your choice online. Vehicles are in excellent condition and full of kit. I would not hire a vehicle from anywhere else, this is my second vehicle from VWFS.
A big thank you to Peter and the team for looking after my needs.

Excellent service when we needed a car with seven seats for a visit to family in Scotland over new year. In view of the snow, I appreciated the very thoughtful telephone call on the last day, which took the pressure off by assuring us that there it wouldn't be a problem if we were not back before closing time and that returning the car first thing the following morning would be fine.

The rental team in Huddersfield are nothing but helpful and friendly, that have sorted out a car for us in no time and with minimal hassle ! Would use again and highly recommend !

Richard was great on the vehicle handover. I turned up earlier than expected but everything ready to go. Car was clean and a quick once over of the control's and I was ready to go.
Car performed well, great on fuel.
On handing the car back, had another great experience with Andrew, very personable and pleasant. Although the vehicle was great, and not the least expensive compared to some other hire car competitors, it's the people that made the difference and would entice me to hire again. Thanks to those mentioned.

Hired a t-Cross for the weekend as I am considering a purchase. A great and very useful experience. Being able to try it on my own drive and do my usual journeys before purchase helps with the decision making.

Fantastic service - car was unmarked, ultra clean and exactly the spec and model I reserved. Perfect pickup and drop off and a far better experience than other rental organisations where you don’t know the vehicle and spec until you get there.

Booked a VW Arteon estate for a day - very easy process, Peter explained everything - was able to leave my car parked at the dealership which was great.

Also I was having issues adding the enhanced insurance due to an issue on website but Peter was able to sort that out for me without a problem - I also didn’t have a usb-c wire with me on the day but Peter very kindly gave me one which was appreciated.

Car was new and clean - very well kept and maintained - excellent drive. When returning the car Peter refunded the deposit immediately which was excellent service.

On my return - the battery on the keys to my personal car had died and was unable to start my own car - Peter immediately tried to see if he could help and allowed me to go back out in the rental car to a nearby garage to sort my key out - which I was very grateful for.

All in all 10/10 service from Peter - very smooth service will definitely use again.

Dealing with both Andrew and Peter organising the car rental was easy. The actual cost of rental was quite reasonable and unlimited mileage was automatically included.
We were given a lovely clean car which was almost brand new and in excellent condition.
Next time we visit Huddersfield and need a car we will definitely come to VW to do so.

Excellent customer service from Andrew. Everything was very straightforward and simple. Andrew went through everything and the handover and return back was excellent. Andrew was extremely helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond. He even kindly dropped me back at the station as it started raining just as I was leaving after dropping the car back.

I’ve never had such a smooth experience hiring a car as I have with VWFS. Upon collection, they made sure we understood everything and were completely happy before we left. I was able to leave my car with them for the duration too which made drop off so much easier! And we got a car we actually wanted to drive, not something random from the likes of other well known car hire companies, and for a lot cheaper too! Thank you!

Excellent personal service and communication. Flexibility when I needed to extend the hire for a couple of days. Peter gave me a full briefing on the car and its features which was very helpful and prevented the stress of driving off in an unfamiliar car.

Fantastic service and friendly staff. Good value and you receive the actual model of car you book, not a "similar to" car, which makes a change for car rental companies.
