I had to hire a car at short notice and cant express what a lovely customer service me and my husband received from Peter at the Leeds Road Branch in Huddersfield. Peter was so knowledgeable about what we wanted to drive and our budget to get us the best deal. Peter is an asset to the company.

The team at Huddersfield were great. There was no rush and they were really flexible with how long I had the car for as I don’t live near the garage.

We travelled from Australia and needed a rental car for the time we were here. Peter was very reassuring and helpful before our arrival (I phoned him the week before arrival from Australia). I was over from Australia for only a few weeks trying to sort our medical issues for my Mum. Needing a car I called Rent-a-car in Huddersfield, I spoke with Peter who could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, very patient explaining everything over the phone and in person. He is a credit to the company. Would highly recommend them. Will definitely use them again.

Hired a fully electric car to see whether I was suited to one on my 800 mile trip down south. Dealt with the Huddersfield office inside the VW Showroom and got exactly what was advertised. VW ID5. Loved the car! Loved the service getting and returning it. Even answered my daft questions about charging! Well worth the money for the experience. Quick and efficient service. Thank you. Needed to rent a car for about five weeks after our car was written off. Looked at various rental companies and VWFS seemed to be the most transparent pricing (rental companies are notorious for advertising low prices and then piling on the extras that are actually essentials, and there are certain names I won't mention but would never use again) and VWFS appeared very competitive. We dealt with Peter at VWFS Huddersfield and the service has been absolutely exceptional, we couldn't have found a more helpful and obliging guy, he's been brilliant.
So in summary, a great product, a great price and outstanding service. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Had the pleasure of renting with vwfs Huddersfield visiting from London. Peter is accommodating and provided great service and local advice. There is no hard sale or hidden fees. When the car I booked wasn't available Peter instead gave me an upgraded model at no fee. There is no up selling, hidden fees and sales tactics unlike a lot of rental companies
