Due to unforseen circumstances I needed to hire a car at extremely short notice fortunately VWFS had a car and Colin quickly processed my hire documents so I was able to collect the car and drive to my destination and arrive at the required time.
I would definitely use VWFS again should I need to hire a car.

I used VWFS rent-a-car for the first time this week as last minute I needed a car for a work trip. I phoned up the day I needed one and Colin at the Southampton branch was great and told me what they had available for the same day collection and sorted it out to suit my work diary. For me this was handy as they are local, which saves so much time on collection and drop off, also you always get the car they show on the website, not a random car small / mid size car.
My wife and I use to have two cars but it was too expensive to run both when we really needed 1.2 cars really, not 2 as I mainly work from home. With a bit of planning we make 1 car work for us. But for the first time since Sept 2023 I needed a car last minute to attend a work meeting that involved an over night stay. The mileage I did just about covered the hire and fuel which was a bonus. With the help of VWFS rent-a-car I think we can stay as a 1 car family for the time being. I will definitely be using them again.

Always a great experience. One person runs the rental car part, and they are always very easy to deal with. Quick to reply to questions, always willing to update things if circumstances change. It was Steve for a long time and I was disappointed when he left because I'd found him so easy to work with, but now Colin has come in and taken over flawlessly.

There is a specific car I prefer from their fleet and he always makes sure I get that one. He is friendly, remembers details about his customers, and generally makes it feel so stress free to pick up and return cars.

I only ever go direct to VWFS via Peter Cooper now, it's so much easier and better than the comparison sites.

Had a great experience, 5⭐️. Resonable prices. I got a nice new Golf, happy with that. Colin was helpful and explained the rental process. I needed a few days later the invoice as I forgot to ask when dropping the car. I got it promptly sent by email.

Having hired many cars with Hertz, Avis etc before, this has been my best and most convenient experience. The Tiguan was in excellent condition and Colin made the whole process very simple. I will definitely recommend and use WVFS Rent -a-car again.
