Quick and smooth service, Colin was brilliant and very helpful.

We rent a VW polo automatic, which is in perfect condition. We are travelers using international driving license. Good value for money compared to other big brand renting companies.

I called very last minute just before they closed, in desperate need of a vehicle and they kindly did me a favour and opened the system back up to rent the car out to me.
The car was great, just what I needed whilst my car was being repaired at another garage.
The cost was very reasonable and they let me extend the rental when the repairs weren't finished on my car.

Very simple online booking process, clear pricing and no pressure to purchase any extras that most of the larger companies push on you. Handover was simple and quick to complete, car was near enough brand new and very clean. Car was a great drive and had no issues. Colin was very friendly and informative sharing tips about the car to get the most out of it. Overall a very good experience and will book a rental car again.

Was looking for a large car for a family trip to Scotland for a few weeks. Have previously used enterprise, but had enough of all there hidden ‘extra’ costs, and not ending up with the car stated. So came across these guys. Gave me one price that covered everything and got the car I’d asked for… excellent personal service, would recommend and use them again.

Exceptional Customer Experience!!

I have had little need to hire a car in past times so had no real expectations. Upon my research, I found VWFS Rent-a-Car very competitively priced. From making my initial enquiry, to the administration, to collecting the vehicle was seamless. I then received a comprehensive walk-through as to features of the Golf (which incidentally was a fully loaded model and immaculate inside/out). I requested to extend my hire twice and received a favourable and ‘can do’ approach. Steve was my PoC in the initial booking and collecting the vehicle and Colin upon returning the vehicle. Both providing an exceptional customer service. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Car was in good condition. Easy terms i.e. full tank of fuel, no milage limitations. All the staff very good.

Peter Cooper VW provided me with a T Cross for 6 weeks at a very competitive rate.
I actually got the car I asked for which is practically unheard of with the major rental companies and collection and drop off were made very easy by Steve the Rental Administrator.

Excellent customer service above and beyond expectation. Hired a car for three months and VWFS Southampton made it very cost effective well below other rental companies with an uncomplicated fee structure including options for insurance and excess. Steve is excellent to deal with providing quick communication on every occasion and helped to resolve a couple of logistical issues with our drop off and pick up. Steve makes the process easy, seamless and stress free. Definitely recommend and would be first choice for hire in the future.

I rented off Volkswagen on a long term let basis, whilst I was looking for a reliable car for myself, in comparison to other car rental companies they are the cheapest out there. I am currently in arrears with Volkswagen but Steve and his manager Kevin have gone above and beyond to help me out, not putting pressure on me to pay, they have been so helpful and understanding and they have agreed to let me set up a payment plan with them to settle the arrears. There customer service has always been second to none and during my recent financial situation they have made things easier and taken the pressure off, Thankyou again, to the staff at Peter Cooper, Hedge end.
