Ordered Sweet Peas, which arrived today in the most awful condition: dead, dying, snapped stems and no scent whatsoever. As not one stem was salvageable they've gone straight in the bin and I've reque... See more

Disappointing Bouquet of Flowers
I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my sister's birthday. When I saw them I was so disappointed.
As in the previous review, the hydrangeas died after two days and the antirrhinums too. The astrangias just about survived but were very limp. And the whole thing was filled out with eucalyptus. I used Waitrose as I thought they would be superior to any other florist, but obviously not. I'm afraid I won't be using them again.
Received a bouquet of flowers yesterday…
Received a bouquet of flowers yesterday for my birthday. How very disappointing, the hydrangeas and the antirrhinum are on their last legs. Flowers completely evertaken by eucalyptus , no clematis and the roses are already brown. I will not tell my niece who sent them as I would not upset her, but need to find a way to let her know never to use Waitrose again as they are shocking. Just read the reviews!!!
I received 2 bouquets a day apart
I received 2 bouquets a day apart. They were both beautiful but unfortunately the roses dies with a few days and spoiled the whole bouquet while the other bouquet thrived. I am in talks with waitrose but they do not want to refund as I don’t have a receipt. I have tried to save them but apparently if the roses do not bloom it can mean they have been picked too early.
awful flowers…
awful flowers for Mother’s Day didn’t last and were still drooping days after and no reply from customer service after emailing very disappointed :(
Golden Wedding Anniversary flowers
I ordered flowers for the Golden Wedding Anniversary of dear friends. Within a day, the petals were browning and the display was wilting. I emailed the provider and received a condescending reply advising how to care for cut flowers! Very disappointed and I truly regret that I didn't read the reviews here first. Disgusted that Waitrose continue to use this provider.
AWFUL, i received Mother’s Day flowers
I received Mother’s Day flowers, awful, damaged squashed. Ok they did refund my daughter’s money but this shouldn’t happen and obviously this is a regular occurrence. DON’T USE
Flowers didn't last 3 days
Flowers didn't last 3 days! Ordered the ultimate spring bouquet. The flowers shrivelled from day 2. Very disappointing. Expected much better from Waitrose.
Very disappointed.
Very disappointed with the amount and quality of flowers.
I suppose I expected the same quality as the store flowers but unfortunately the bunch of flowers I ordered were poorly packaged, so that some were damaged.
They were also a very small bunch which cost me £30 pounds plus £5 delivery.
When they arrived they were no bigger than a bunch that would have cost me at the most £15 in store. It’s the first and last time I order flowers from Waitrose . Nothing like the quality of in store flowers. Very sad. On writing to them I was advised that the flowers are not supplied from the same supplier .
Wish I’d have known this !
Simply dreadful
Simply dreadful. Flowers arrived smashed and broken and a complete mess. Impossible to contact to remedy - phone line is dead and they don't reply by email. Complete abuse of what used to be a decent brand. Don't bother.
Bought my mum flowers for Mother’s Day
Bought my mum flowers for Mother’s Day. Nothing like the photo, feel like I was scammed.
Flowers never turned up.
Waitrose: The 21st century equivalent of Woolworths
I've bought 3 gifts of Waitrose Flowers this year.
Each of the gifts has disappointed in its own way. The flowers have been either damaged or dead or both. You really don't realise how bad the Waitrose florist service is until you see the presentation quality and freshness of other comparable companies. If they can do it why can't Waitrose?
The best aspect of the Valentine's day gift I bought for my wife this year was the Emma Bridgewater jug. We threw the lacklustre and wilting flowers away after a couple of days. Very disappointing.
Dead on arrival
Bought flowers for my mum and the poor things arrived half-dead. Looked nothing like the picture either.
A rip off and never again.
A rip off and never again.
Even with the 20% discount what I got for £28 was appalling.
Absolutely disgraceful waste of money
Absolutely disgraceful waste of money. My daughter bought me a £35 bouquet for Mother’s Day even though she could barely afford it. I was ashamed of you Waitrose.
Awful value for money and totally…
Awful value for money and totally misleading images on website. Poor quality, flowers are not fresh and smell of nothing despite being a “fragranced” bouquet. Ruined Mother’s Day for my lovely Mum.
Don’t buy from waitroseflorist if you want nice flowers
How could you do this to someone when it’s for Mother’s Day! I feel robbed and tricked. The ones on the receipt were not the ones I know I ordered. I picked the prettiest ones weeks ago so they wouldn’t sell out and the ones I got were the ugliest. I spent £45 on what I thought was a beautiful bunch that looked worth it but I could have got these for a fiver from the supermarket! They’re absolutely tiny and don’t have a box or nice wrap and bow. Not many flowers, don’t look fresh, roses already withering, dull wish washy colours. The card was rubbish. Has a perforated edge and fold that tore when I opened. Shiny and cheap card material and design isn’t even printed evenly let alone nice. Most of my money spent must be profit! I’m sad that Waitrose are treating customers this way it’s shameful. My partner and other family members have bought flowers from a local florist and a farm shop for £40 and they’re huge and stunning but there’s nothing I can do, its Mother’s Day and I have these or nothing, I don’t know what’s worst!
I’ve just received a bunch of fresh…
I’ve just received a bunch of fresh flowers today from Waitrose, a gift for Mothers Day from my daughter and they are half dead, they look old, wilting and tbh an absolute disgrace! Waitrose should be ashamed to even sell such poor quality flowers!
Poor, unhelpful service
I ordered a bouquet for Mother’s Day for my mum and chose for them to be delivered on the Friday (two days before), just in case. Then I found out my Mum wouldn’t be in that day to take delivery so I phoned five days before the delivery date to ask if they could be delivered on the Saturday instead. They refused to change the delivery date to the Saturday (they gave no reason for why this wouldn’t be possible), but said they could change it to the Sunday, which is Mother’s Day itself, when we’ll be out for lunch so that would be no good. I asked if I could change the delivery instructions for the Friday to say to leave it with my Mum’s neighbour, but they refused to do that either. With 5 days’ notice, there is no reason why they shouldn’t be able to do this. So I have no idea if my Mum will actually receive the Mother’s Day flowers I ordered and I may have to buy some on the day instead. Very poor service for what is supposed to be a respected brand.
AVOID AVOID AVOID…
Ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday well in advance to be delivered on her birthday exactly. When you pay £50 for just a bunch of flowers you hope that at least they will deliver on time. They did not deliver on time. I would never use them again and wouldn't advise anyone to pay premium prices for well below average service. AVOID AVOID AVOID
