Delivery fail on Valentine’s Day

Why can’t we give zero stars? I should have checked the reviews before ordering from Waitrose. I bought the £75 bouquet to have delivered anonymously to my daughter on Valentine’s Day. At 1pm on 14.2 DPD email to say flowers will not be arriving. Call Waitrose who arrange a same day bouquet to be delivered. At 4pm receive an email to say same day bouquet will not arrive either. A refund and gift card will never make up for the fact that my daughter didn’t receive flowers on Valentine’s Day. DPD useless. Still haven’t received either bouquet. Massive fail Waitrose. You should be ashamed. Having read other reviews now, maybe good that flowers didn’t arrive as they sound embarrassing.

Valentine’s Day flowers…for those who hate their partner.

I can only assume that this service exists to send flowers to your enemies, given the awful quality, presentation and sizing. I actually paid £75 for a bouquet, and I was utterly shocked at what arrived for my wife. It was like something that a team on ‘The Apprentice’ would cobble together, where none of them have ever seen a flower arrangement before. So despite the £20 refund, it’s with regret, Waitrose, that you’re fired…from ever being my florist again. Absolute joke.

Dreadful quality !!.was embarrassed to give these roses to my husband

Dreadful quality !!.
I ordered a beautiful roses plant with cookie and card.

Cost £40 including postage.
A lot of money for a pensioner to find

It arrived bare of roses except 1 that was going white with age.

I was excited when it arrived, albeit 5 hours late at 10pm! , by DPD.

I gave the box to my hubby, who opened it and saw the disappointment on his face,it was shocking, it broke my heart,I may as well have given him dead flowers.😢😢

I was extremely embarrassed I cried.

I have emailed requesting refund and have heard nothing!.

I always loved Waitrose as its always been good quality.

I called around a lot of florists to try to get him some more flowers.

And nobody had any left.

It totally ruined our 40th valentines day .

I have photos, but nowhere to show them here.

Extremely disappointed with the roses…

Extremely disappointed with the roses that arrived for valentine's day. Supposed to be 12 roses and only 11 in the bunch. To make things worse one of the roses was snapped in half so my partner only had 10! Along with this, they also look like they will die in a day or two as they're bone dry. Definitely not worth the money - should have believed the reviews and will never be buying from here again. Not the high standard you'd expect from Waitrose!

So much for Waitrose supposed quality

So much for Waitrose supposed quality. Really disappointed with the valentines roses that arrived for my wife. Very small, tired and bland looking. Certainly not worth the money. I was so disappointed I jumped in the car and went to our local Tesco and picked up a beautiful, fresh, vibrant bouquet for much less than half the price. Will not be purchasing from them again.

I have received the flowers that I ordered for valentines day and must say I am more than disappointed with the quality they are bone dry with no water source to keep them alive 2 heads broken not great at all I am gob smacked at this as they were very expensive… not even a ribbon around them as a bit of presentation.

Not best pleased and wouldn’t recommend at all!!

Not much for your money.

I ordered a £40 (£45+ with delivery) bouquet for my wife which arrived during the day. When I got back to work and saw them in a vase on the kitchen table I thought my wife had split the bunch and put half somewhere else. Alas, that was it! Looks nice but a measly amount of blooms for the sum paid. I'll go back to shopping at independent florists from now on.

Christmas table arrangement - only fit for compost!

I ordered a table arrangement for our Christmas table to be delivered on 23/12/23. On arrival it was not fit for purpose - holly berries brown and squashed, headless roses, dead eucalyptus. The hurricane lamp had been packed across arrangement. completely squashing it. This cost over £60 and was only fit for the compost - where it ended up. I shall never rely on Waitrose again for a special floral arrangement.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

I ordered these for my friend who sent me a photo when they arrived. I wish I knew how to download a photo. Extremely disappointing; not only fewer stems than stated but the quality was very poor. A new bouquet arrived. Not much better. She is going to send me photos as the flowers open. I can't believe this quality from Waitrose.
