Flowers didn’t arrive

Booked Xmas table flowers to arrive 23 Dec. Tracking showed they weren’t going to arrive until 27 Dec. Had to spend time I didn’t have trying to find out what happened with courier (was told first live chat they were arriving 23 Dec after all and were on the way and then 2nd live chat next day they were stuck at warehouse and won’t be arriving until 27 Dec) Called Waitrose who sorted a refund. Was left with no table flowers though. Won’t be using again.

Shockingly poor flowers

I received flowers for Christmas from my daughter this week, from Waitrose, and of course couldn't complain to her, which is what Waitrose relies on. They were shockingly poor: heads knocked off the lilies, just 3 white roses and lots of yew and nothing else for greenery. (I have yew trees in my garden and hollies so could have done that better myself) The bouquet was nothing at all like their website. TRAVESTY. I'd like Waitrose first to apologise and then to send a donation to charity on my behalf. UNICEF could benefit this Christmas.

Double whammy

I had a poor delivery of a Christmas plant arrangement for elderly friends.
When I tried to complain via the Waitrose website, I went around in circles trying to identify an email address to contact them.
So on top of a poor delivery I couldn't even complain.
Very clever Waitrose!!

You only live once, just go to Waitrose.

“Some of the happiest times of my life have been in Waitrose.”

If you’re careful it’s hardly more expensive than the other supermarkets and much nicer, higher quality food!

YOLO!

Useless

Useless. I tried to get these flowers redirected by calling customer services with plenty of time to spare. I was told I would get a reconfirmation email. None came, and the flowers were delivered to the original addrss regardless.

I put a review BE WARNED about…

I put a review BE WARNED about Waitrose.

They gave a reply to me on Trustpilot and I did what they asked sent them all the details on the
6th December. Today is the 14th December they have not even acknowledged receipt or given a reply.

Waitrose is rudderless, have no direction, no management skills in some stores, Like Cowbridge still not opening at 8.00 a.m. always late, product still in cages blocking the shop floor, never mind if customers cannot get to the items on the shelves, or purchase produce because it has not been put out and god forbid if you make an enquiry. I feel sorry for the Manager of the London Store who is doing the job well, doors open at 7.00 a.m. all produce on the shelves, no health and safety issue of full cages blocking the isles and shelves with produce for sale on.

As a customer said he buys treats that are expensive but does his main shop at Lidle because the same items are much cheaper there. People are willing to pay a little extra for service and quality but Waitrose has neither these days.

They have NO REGARDS FOR CUSTOMERS AS CAN BE SEEN FROM NO REPLY TO ME.

Wake up shop else ware, why reward a company that has no interest in their customers.

You never know the C.E.O. might deem to do some work for once or just take his money while the ship sinks.

I ORDERED FLOWERS FOR MY WIFE TO…

I ORDERED FLOWERS FOR MY WIFE TO CELEBRATE OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. ORDERED TWO BUNCHES, IN TOTAL £65 (NOT INCLUDING DELIVERY).IN GENERAL, VERY POOR QUALITY AND QUANTITY FOR THE COST. AT LEAST 5 OF THE ROSES WERE ALREADY WILTING/BENDING OVER AND COULD NOT BE REVIVED. 80% OF REVIEWERS WHO GAVE A 1-STAR RATING WERE CORRECT AND WAITROSE FLORISTS ARE IGNORING THESE VERY BAD REVIEWS

Let down with delivery

If I had read these reviews I would never have ordered. Ordered flowers for same day delivery at 9 o’clock in the morning. It said they would deliver same day if ordered before 2pm. Got a message at 3 o’clock saying they couldn’t deliver that day. Couldn’t order anywhere else as strangely enough everywhere wants orders before….3 o’clock - which is a coincidence I thought! Cancelled the order and ordered a nicer bouquet for half the price with free chocs to be delivered the following day. Just a shame it won’t arrive on their birthday. Will not be ordering from Waitrose again!

Failed to deliver same-day as promised…

Failed to deliver same-day as promised (and paid for), flowers when they did arrive were pretty sad looking.

Customer service rep seemed annoyed to have it be answering calls when chased, although he did find out where they’d got to.

And to add insult I’ve just received the despatch notification email 4 days after delivery.

Received vase with sunflowers today as a get well gesture, very disappointed sunflowers squashed, the daisy like foliage was hardly worth adding to the bouquet… always thought Waitrose provided quality goods but certainly not on this occasion..after seeing other reviews I obviously won’t get a response but just thought people should be aware as they are expensive

I was sent a bunch of Waitrose flowers…

I was sent a bunch of Waitrose flowers as a thank you from a dear friend who wanted me to have something lovely. What I got was a dreadful bunch of flowers. The roses were squashed and the leaves had rust on them. All the flowers bar the sunflowers were dead in two days. The sunflowers were lovely and the foliage is still hanging on in there. I am so sad your flowers used to be beautiful what’s happened? I’m not expecting a response because the customer service has gone down hill too.

Very poor quality flowers

My daughter was given a large bunch of flowers as a leaving present last Friday (25/08). Put in a large vase with the plant food made up as instructed. Bottoms of the stalks cut off as they should be. By Sunday all the green fern foliage was dead and brown and was removed. By Monday the Sunflowers and Gladioli were wilting/going brown. She was very disappointed.
Pretty poor effort Waitrose.

Terrible.

Terrible.
Yodel delivery person left the box of flowers on the doorstep and they blew down a flight of steps.
Once opened, the flowers were obviously bashed about but also dead. Many of the blooms were brown and were beyond reviving.
Will NEVER use Waitrose for flowers again.

Wish I had seen these reviews before…

Wish I had seen these reviews before using Waitrose flowers. Yodel messed up, and the recipient of the gift still has not received their flowers. Refund has to wait for the flowers to be returned? Uh why am I penalised when they had them at the depot for 2 days then just changed status to incomplete. Then when I asked to speak to a manager re the wait for a refund (words like soon are not appropriate for refunds in my book) I was told it would take up to 72 hours and that was process. Waitrose processes clearly need sorting. Take my advice use Freddies Flowers, fresh flowers and reliable.

3 out of 3 bad experiences

Yodel have just messed up my third order with Waitrose Flowers. The first time a plant was delivered upside down. The second time flowers were delivered to a dying relative with a card for another unknown person. And the third order was also delivered upside down. Never again will I use Waitrose Floristry.

Poor quality flowers arrived

Poor quality flowers arrived. Moth eaten and dead. You could not remove enough guard petals to get to the live flower . I complained and Waitrose sent a replacement which was worse than the original one. Half the blooms than advertised but I was told photos are for illustration purposes only. The buds were so immature , they would never open. Avoid using this company. Dreadful.
