Ordered flowers and champagne

Ordered their No. 1 Summer Bouquet and champagne for my friend’s 70th Birthday cost £72 plus £4.95 delivery. Delivered on time and I was thanked by my friend for the flowers. I asked did she receive the champagne. No, just a bunch (10 stems) of sunflowers! Cost of sunflowers on Waitrose website was £25.
Phoned Waitrose and after checking I was advised that they would send the original order but it would be three days later!
Just not good enough Waitrose so I will not be ordering flowers through you again as it is clear that the company you use e-flora Ltd are incapable of completing a simple order. If I hadn’t queried the delivery with my friend you may have got away with it and I wonder how many of your customers do not know what was actually delivered?

Terrible

Failed to deliver on the agreed day and then I had to email them repeatedly to get anything done. Ended up taking four weeks to get a £60 bouquet delivered and they offered no compensation, apology or money off. Dreadful.

Customer service

Unlike a few other reviews we have recieved very good service - original arrangement we felt was not up to standard very insipid - e mailed customer service and they offered a refund /replacement or choose a different arrangement- we chose the latter and today a beautiful bright arrangement was received - thank you

Terribly disappointing.

I received flowers last week as a gift. They didn't look particularly fresh but I thought they might perk up. The went in the bin 3 days later. Roses list their petals and peonies turned black and slimy. Absolutely shocking.

Failure to dispatch same-day flowers

Ordered same-day flowers just before 11am for delivery to my address. The order confirmation email said delivery could take place up to 9pm. At 8.50pm I rang customer services to get an update on delivery only to be told that the flowers hadn't been dispatched - and to ring back at 9am in the morning if I wanted to cancel my order (more time wasted!). This is not a same-day service - plus they didn't have the decency to let
me know they were not processing the order on the day. Terrible service - totally let down by what I believed would be a reliable supplier. Will never use again.

I thought Waitrose would be a reliable brand!

I chose Waitrose for what I thought was a quality, trusted and reliable brand. I ordered a bouquet and bottle of champagne to be delivered for an anniversary. I selected the date and ordered. Yodel were the courier, the tracking showed it had arrived at the local depot ready for delivery that day. As the day went on the tracking didn't change and it wasn't delivered. I telephoned the Waitrose Florist number and they really didn't seem that bothered. Whilst on the phone I googled and found all these awful reviews. Anyway, thankfully the delivery arrived the next day and the flowers seemed to be fine, which was lucky considering the warm weather we are having at times. I would be very hesitant to use them again. I'm currently waiting for a reply to my customer complaint email!

Replacement rose bouquet sent as first…2nd and 4th july

Replacement rose bouquet sent as first one was dead and dying. Second replacement was just as bad. Smaller. All roses were soft and losing petals. Waitrose should be ashamed of using this cheap inexperienced eflora. I also trust my instinct that these are also eflorist who also have a ridiculous amount of negative feedback
There is a complaints page on fb. Have let down people for funeral and wedding flowers. Didn't even bother sending..stop this immediately

Received flowers today - poor quality

Received flowers today. Dry stems, yellowing leaves, Sweet William heads squashed and majority of rose heads wilted. Astounded by the poor condition of the letterbox bouquet which were opened, cut and put in water as soon as delivered. Several attempts to get through to Customer Service by phone but to no avail.

Cheaper Substitute sent and no refund of the difference!

I never treat myself but I wanted some coral peony's to paint....I was so excited to have actually found some and ordered them. Yet a totally different bouquet arrived just pink ones, just as I have in my garden. I'll never order again! The bouquet I chose was first in the adverts, yet it's not in stock - surely a note under the picture saying " limited stock " would Also I suspect they are unlikely to open as the buds are tiny, and the one that's open isn't scented either. If you really want the bouquet that's pictured is say go to a florist! Oh and the bouquet they sent was £5 cheaper than the one I ordered and I've not had a refund.....so Waitrose have stolen off me too!

I’d give no stars if I could

I’d give no stars if I could , the worst flowers I’ve ever seen delivered .
The first lot of white peonies were delivered to my daughter for a bereavement from her work colleagues , they arrived brown with no message as to whom they were from. So we rang to complain and sent photos and to be fair were promised a replacement . Also found out who had sent them and they they had included s message . Anyway we have just received the replacement and I’d be lying if I said they were better. The bunch were tiny and are not worth whatever they are charging.
I would never recommend you order from them , I think you can find better companies and even shop brought are better. Do not order you will be disappointed !

Save yourself the trouble and use a real florist!

I’ve used this service before and had pleasant results, not so this time. First delivery was missing a thank you note and bottle of champagne, the flowers were also wilted and not of great quality. Spoke to customer services, arranged a redelivery, but for a Saturday, gifts are for an office employee as a thank you, so rearranged for Monday, not able to set a time scale for delivery. Yodel emailed to say flowers etc will be delivered 1753-1953, of no use whatsoever. I have asked for a refund, those flowers will have been in a hot van for the best part of two days. I will use proper florists from now on, Far less unlikely to, “lose” bottles of champagne and able to arrange time slots. Whilst I appreciate my problems are mostly with yodel, they are Waitrose florists courier of choice!
Update
Yodel have left the delivery of champagne and flowers outside the front door of the office block, what do you think are the chances of them being there tomorrow morning?????😡😡😡

Ordered the Emma Bridgewater jug and…

Ordered the Emma Bridgewater jug and bouquet. The jug is lovely but the flowers were underwhelming. It would have been better with more single stem roses rather than the spray which didn't really open so looked a little lost. I suspect most of the cost is in the jug. If ordering just order because of the jug not the flowers as together they are a tad disappointing.

Hit and run hot flower delivery

Recipient received a hot box of totally wilted crushed flowers. The driver rang the bell and drove off fast.
I emailed customer services with forwarded pictures and then rang customer service, transferred to flowers who looked at the pics and apologised. Refund in progress.
Thank you to the nice people at customer service (Sam).

Why didn't I check the reviews first?
Come on Waitrose, better packing and transport in a cool van, not Yodel.

Complete waste of money

Ordered Sweet Peas, which arrived today in the most awful condition: dead, dying, snapped stems and no scent whatsoever. As not one stem was salvageable they've gone straight in the bin and I've requested a full refund. Lesson learned - don't use Waitrose Florist. I've seen better presented offerings on garage forecourts!

Poor Packaging

Ordered a bay tree, it was delivered as a plant pot in a cardboard box, so if the box was slightly tipped over, all the soil falls out. I'm glad I didn't get it delivered direct to the recipient as I had to repot it first.

Bunches have much better packaging that holds the soil in.

Awful terrible roses twice in a row now…

Awful terrible roses twice in a row now from Waitrose, especially the yellow ones. I bought a bunch of roses and lilies before lunch today. I took them home, put them in water and flower food. About 7 hours later, 4 out of 10 roses began to wilt and die. Absolutely appalled. Not good enough. Very disappointed given they were for my own birthday. They need to change suppliers or stop selling awful roses. I would give Zero stars
