None delivery of flowers as a Christmas giftfor a relative as a…

Ordered flowers for a relative as a gesture of appreciation for her kindness to be delivered on 22/12. Naturally assumed these had been delivered but on 27/12 on checking tracking found that these had not been delivered. I have since tried to contact Waitrose customer service with 6 emails but no one has bothered to return to me with an explanation. Contacted Yodel equally useless, not could not, but would not assist in any way. This order was to be an important message for someone's kindness and I feel I have let someone down because the people concerned i.e. Waitrose and Yodel could not care a damn. There is no point in contacting customer service as obviously they do not know the interpretation of the word 'service'

It’s time that Waitrose changed their courier. Like other people their courier Yodel claimed to have delivered a Christmas order of flowers to my sister and brother-in-law. Maybe they did deliver the flowers but unfortunately not to the right address. I must say that the people I spoke to at Waitrose were helpful and tried to contact Yodel. As for the quality of the flowers. I’ve no idea because they never arrived. Merry Christmas!

Terrible service from DPD and Waitrose

Terrible service from DPD and Waitrose. The flowers were due for delivery on Sunday, I had a message to say delayed 24 hours , I was dis-appointed but thought it's Christmas , the following day I had another message to say delayed another 24 hours , I contacted Waitrose to say it wasn't good enough the special occasion ordered for would be passed and the flowers deteriorating as stuck in transit , no response from Waitrose. The following day (3 days after the flowers should of been delivered ) another message from DPD to say delivery cancelled all together! I contacted Waitrose again and it took a further 5 days to get a response , by which time, it was way too late , it then took a further 2 days for the refund to be processed , really not the service you'd expect , needless to say I cancelled a further order that was scheduled for delivery Christmas week and will not be ordering again with them

Terrible - do not use Waitrose Florist or Yodel

If only I had read all the reviews before, as exactly as described by others happened. The plant arrangement was delivered by Yodel in a totally soaked box with the plants upside down and crushed with wet soil all over the box and gift card. Clearly the box had not been kept upright. We had sent the arrangement as a Golden Wedding gift and it was very embarrassing for the recipients to have to let us know about this disaster. Currently waiting for Waitrose to respond to our complaint. No way of writing a review on their website - we wonder why not!

Shocking service…….

£70 flower bouquet not delivered on date specified. Delivered the evening of the next day and left at front porch in sub zero temperatures. Will never use Waitrose Florist again. Very poor service. Was only offered a delivery refund of £4.95. Shocking customer care from Waitrose. What a way to keep customer loyalty…….

Christmas pot disaster.

Ordered a Christmas pot for delivery to my daughter in Cornwall. The first one was delivered by Yodel and looked as if it had been dropped it was all out of the pot and crushed. The replacement arrived a couple of days later in the same god awful state. They agreed to refund me and my daughter well she has a bin bag of compost ... So disappointing I cant tell you. Will never use them again.

Terrible

Terrible, be aware they use Yodel for delivery so as always with Yodel the flowers didn’t arrive. They were for a birthday so extremely disappointing. No text or email to say driver couldn’t find address, only discovered there was an issue when looking at tracker. Unable to contact Yodel and when I did they were useless. Strongly advise against using

Waitrose customer service put a bad…

I've deleted my Waitrose account.
A dreadful experience.
The driver is usually polite and friendly.
However i still have to kneel on the floor to put my own shop into bags.
On the last occasion the driver kept his side to me, didn't speak, he was fiddling with a device.
I really struggled to get back off the floor.
I hurt my hip, again.
I called customer delight team they immediately put me through to the local store ( i could have done that myself)
The store manager immediately asked if i wanted money.
No i did not, i wanted an explanation.
I wanted to inform him that one member of his staff was letting the team down.
Maybe that staff member looked at my name and mistakenly thought that i could not speak English, I'm a PhD.

The store manager made a bad situation so much worse.
And i did not want a refund.
I've shopped with them for 25 years.
No more.
I have spent thousands of pounds over the years, to the point of getting delivery's sent to my daughter.
Not sure i want to know how they treat their not so loyal customers.

Terrible customer service

The Waitrose website states they deliver flowers to the Isle of Wight (except Sunday) but when I tried to order for a friend it refused to accept the order. I rang Waitrose customer service. All they could suggest was try another date - I already had to no avail. I asked them if they could take the order over the phone. The reply was "computer says no" They should rename Waitrose Customer Service the Waitrose Excuse Team. Zero customer service. Zero customer satisfaction. The Partners I spoke to have clearly been disempowered by the dreadful management at Waitrose Florist.

Placed an order for same-day delivery BUT

Placed an order for same-day delivery at 10 am. Told via email at 3:30pm that they couldn't fulfill the order. My Credit Card was charged at 10:01 am BUT apparently, a refund takes 3-5 days. So the only thing that is the same day is the credit card charge. Won't use again.

I placed an order for flowers for my sister and mistakenly put the wrong two letters at the start of the address. I changed this but it was not saved on the order. When the flowers did not arrive I checked, realised what I had done and looked for the post code - it had been deleted in 2019 so there could not have been a delivery there. When I pointed this out I was told it was all my fault and no responsibility of theirs even though the courier quite clearly lied as they could not have delivered them to the incorrect post code.
I am disgusted with Waitrose and would like to warn others that this is how they treat their customers.

Rude Customer service and mis-advertised potted rose

Family sent me a Waitrose florist delivery of bubbly, chocolates and a potted mini rose. On arrival, bottle and chocolates had come loose from the packaging and damaged the rose. The rose was also nothing like the photo advertised on the Waitrose florist website. Picture had at least 20 buds and mine had a single rose bud. I took a photo and emailed to Customer services. Was very polite. Abrupt email response. Representative said, I can see from the photo, that one bud has indeed come off,and on this occasion I will send you a voucher. How rude!! Accepted no responsibility and made me feel like I was making a fuss out of nothing. Actually, the rose that arrived only had one bud on it anyway and this was the one that had been knocked off. Foliage was is terrible condition and did not perk up with water at all. Sent me a ten pounds voucher with no further apology. I will NOT be using this service myself and felt quite upset that my sister would have spent £40 on this gift, anticipating it would have been waiting for me on my arrival home from hospital, following emergency surgery.

Cabbages are not flowers!

Perhaps it's churlish to write a negative review about something bought for me as a gift, but I feel indignant enough to do so. Someone lovely bought me a bouquet from Waitrose yesterday. I won't say ' a bouquet of flowers ' because despite the label on the wrapping saying 'flowers are one of life's pleasures ... we source the best blooms ... your flowers will last longer', out of seven stems only two of them were flowers! The rest comprised three cabbages, one green stem and one berry stem. Cabbages are not flowers! Look at the Trade Description Act!

If you want fresh flowers, delivered on a specific day, do not use Waitrose!.

I wish I'd found this site before I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday. I chose Waitrose Florist because I believed them to be a reputable company, and ordered one of the more expensive bouquets and paid the extra delivery charge to have it delivered on her birthday. However Waitrose, and the delivery company Yodel, have provided an unacceptable service and did not deliver the flowers on the specified day. Having spoken to three different customer service assistants in the last 24 hrs I have been given different information about when the flowers will be delivered. I have asked for a fresh bouquet to be delivered as the original ones have been in transit for over 36 hours, and was told this had been arranged for tomorrow, the earliest date they could do it apparently, but 2 days after her birthday. Now I have received a message to say the original flowers are being delivered this afternoon, more than likely in poor condition. What was supposed to be a birthday surprise has turned into a fiasco, and it has not yet reached a resolution. I have yet to discover the quality of the flowers themselves, but I suspect that will also be disappointing.
Having read the overwhelmingly negative reviews I cannot believe Waitrose Florist have not acted to rectify their poor service. I certainly will never be shopping with Waitrose again if this is an indication of how much they care about their customers.

Just updating 3 days after my sister's birthday; she received the original bouquet, in poor condition 2 days after her birthday. They were just left in the porch during the evening by Yodel.
The re-ordered flowered arrived last night in better condition, again just left in the porch, even though my sister was home.
In summary, if you want fresh flowers, delivered on a specific day, do not use Waitrose!

Ordered flowers for bereaved relative

Ordered flowers for bereaved relative, no confirmation from them or courier, Yodel.
Didn’t arrive, called Waitrose customer service, seems to be one woman, v pleasant, full of apologies but ineffective, re delivery arranged, but the flowers then arrived NOT when requested, relative going away, sent 6 x Yodel texts, random delivery times/days! Chaos! DO NOT USE WAITROSE or YODEL!

Waste of money

Just has a bunch delivered to my wife and wow! Total rip off! £30 for something I could have got at a supermarket for under a fiver. Never, ever again and they charged me £4.95 delivery. A scandal! We are regular Waitrose food delivery customers but not after this

Most appalling bouquet

Most appalling bouquet I have ever received, the box they came in was worth more than the half dozen dried sticks it contained. If you want to insult someone this is the way to do it.

Disgusting service.

Sent a pink rose planter as birthday/ get well gift. Arrived in awful condition, complained, promised a replacement delivery and full compensation including postage. Second delivery arrived in worse condition, sent photos, complained. Gift voucher sent to recipient and price of goods returned to me minus delivery charge. So upset, did not need all this hassle by myself or recipient.
