Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 54 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, citing issues with quality, taste, and texture. Customers frequently mentioned that bread and other baked goods went moldy quickly, often before the best-before date, and described a chemical or unpleasant taste. They also felt that the products had decreased in size while prices remained high. Some people were dissatisfied with the ingredients used, noting a long list of unpronounceable items and the presence of palm oil. A few other people also felt that the packaging was problematic, ripping easily and not keeping the bread fresh. There is hardly any fruit in Warburton's Fruity Teacakes despite the claim on the packet of 'plump and juicy currants, sultanas and raisins'. Other brands including shop own brands are better.

I’ve ate warbatons for 44 years & loved it until recently, bread after 1-2 days with plenty of date left goes green/ moldy. Bought lidls own & lovely, lasted 11 days 👍👍👍👍

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I used to think Warburtons Half & Half was ok, but the quality seems to have gone down the pan. Has the recipe changed? The taste and texture is every bit as bad as the bread from Tesco and Hovis.

Warburtons plant power bread is a great…

Warburtons plant power bread is a great loaf. Really tasty and full of seeds and pulses. Two types 12 seeds and pulses or 21 seeds and pulses both great breads. I don't usually buy factory made bread but this one is different and can compete with shop made bread. Packaging is paper too. Trouble is shops stock limited quantities of it and it sells out quickly so it can be difficult to get.

Shrink Product and Inflate Price !

Shrink Product and Inflate Price !! I am fed up with the constant shrinking of products and the increase in prices. Warbutons I have bought your bread for years you now have one less customer. If more people did what I am doing manufacturers might look after their customers better and not their shareholders.

Warburtons bread is awful these days

Always bought Warburtons and nothing else...lately the loaves have gone really small squares WHY the price they charge and bread was always bigger than any other bread...full of air holes and all mishaped and gone up 50% in price....STOP ADVERTISING YOUR THE BEST BREAD.....YOUR NOT NO MORE....tasteless crap...supermarkets own brands at a third of the price is better better better. We just tried it...I made toast for us all and didn't tell anyone I got a cheap loaf...they all commented....omg this toast is lovely...all stop buying Warburtons and try the cheap Supermarkets white or brown bread it's amazing....Bye Warbys....Your gone and buried....just greed...so sad

Always loved Warburtons toastie bread…

Always loved Warburtons toastie bread and crumpets but what’s happened?!
The slices of the toastie are now the thickness of a medium loaf and it just doesn’t taste the same.
I’ve just eaten some toasted crumpets and they have no taste.
Why would a company sabotage themselves and alienate their customers?!
So no more Warburtons for me and my family.
Such a shame because if they carry on as they are they will eventually go out of business.

Shooting themselves in the foot.

Never thought I’d see the day when I was throwing Warby’s in the bin. Tasteless these days and ridiculously miss shaped to save dough. I used to love their products and champion them to all & sundry. Premier league to non league I’m disappointed to say ( in my opinion)

Warburton no power

War Burton plant power
I was attracted by the promise of various seeds and pulses that are used to make this bread
What a disappointment!
This bread has no ‘body’ it is much too soft to spread butter on it. The slice collapsed. Apart from the small seeds covering the top the rest of the ingredients must have all be milled which makes it no different to brown or whole meal bread.
What a shame. Result: I shall keep well clear of plant power.

What has happened to Warburtons Toastie?

We have always bought Warburton toastie bread for the last few years, it was always brilliant but the last few weeks something has changed and not for the better and I don’t mean the price. Can warburton tell us what they have done to spoil a really excellent product, we have decided to try alternative suppler for toastie bread

Bought some Warburton cinnamon and raisin baps. They tasted awful and I had to throw them in the bin. I checked the label and has gas E920 in it. I looked it up and it said synthetically made Don't buy these baps.

What has happened to Warburtons large…

What has happened to Warburtons large white loaves? I have now tried both the toastie and the blue wrapper. Things have changed over the past few months. The texture is bumpy and if left on a plate for 30 mins. the top side appears stale. We have used it for the past 5 years and can now see a definite difference.NOW DREADFUL

Now I am not complaining about…

Now I am not complaining about Warburtons products, although they are mediocre, no, I am concerned about their customer service and looking at the lack of response from Warburtons on this site have every reason to be!
I was driving my partner to work at about 05.20 on Wednesday, the road was wet and the speed limit 30 mph.
Suddenly I noticed a lorry approaching us from the rear at a speed that must of been in excess of 60 mph. The driver of the lorry then positioned it just a couple of feet from our rear bumper and put on his full beam headlamps and then started flashing them. This abhorrent behaviour continued all the way to the end of the road until we parted on different exits on the roundabout, it was then we realised this lorry is owned by Warburtons. Myself and my partner were shocked by this driving , she is also a driver of PSV and HGV and this was above and beyond dangerous and stupidity. This is supposed to be a professional driver, I understand how they get away with driving like this, that's because the only time you see a police car around here is when they are returning to finish their duties or in a local supermarket car park when the officers are inside wondering around with an armfull of junk food, what I do not understand is why? 30 mph speed limit, a wet road, in which pets and wildlife can run out in front of you at anytime, commuters crossing the road in the dark to get to the local station and a dangerous lunatic who seems hell bent on killing someone with the lorry he is driving.
Needless to say I told Warburtons, very strongly, about my concerns but it seems they have chosen to ignore me and ignore the fact that a dangerous lunatic is speeding around in one of their lorries! Most of us have seen or understand what happens when a speeding twenty tonne lorry hits an animal, a car or a person but investigating after a collision is usually too late!
Well done Warburtons!

Very disappointed long time customer

Warburton what have you done to my no added sugar wholemeal sliced loaf. Have been eating this for ages, having changed from regularly eating a thick sliced wholemeal from another brand when I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, and was looking at reducing sugar etc. Have not looked back since as this was much tastier, although sold as medium sliced, was pretty much as thick, a good dense slice that held brilliantly in overloaded sandwiches, toasted brilliantly as well under the grill, giving a good firm crispy slice of toast - but no longer it seems.
I recently, not unusually, made myself a single slice of bread and peanut butter to accompany my warm milk to help me get off to sleep, but the bread seemed to be thin, both in volume and density. I thought my perceptions were having a bad night, but since then my perception of it has remained the same, very little body to it. If it goes under the grill, instead of a good firm crispy slice of toast, it's trying to curl upwards at the end, despite the usual regular turning, and rather than being solid and crispy it now falls into bits. I'm convinced you've changed a product which I, and others, considered the best on the market to something of decidedly inferior quality, in my opinion at least.
