Terrible customer service. Went in with a slow puncture needing repair and stood at the counter while two staff members were talking behind the counter, after being ignored for 5 minutes while they carried on their chat, I walked out and took my car elsewhere. Not somewhere I would recommend.

Catford branch closed - but they did not say!
I went on Watling tyres website, phoned the number for the Catford branch and ordered 2 tyres. I arrived for the the tyres and found the Catford Branch was closed. I phoned the Catford branch number again and asked why they weren't they open - they said they had moved to Swanley!
It appears they have failed to update the website and fail to tell callers that Catford calls are diverted to Swanley.
When I told the manager at Swanley Branch he said it was all because of covid and he did not seem interested in fixing the problem.
I have awarded 3 stars because the tyres and fitting were fine when I eventually got to Swanley.

Made an appointment very quick service, and friendly staff.

Spoke to scooter arranged for a new tyre to be fitted on, come the next mornin very friendly & jolly chap.

Very bad experience today!
This is only for the reception and customer services- even not get to the services. I was booked for 12pm for tracking and arrived 20 minutes before. I want to go to reception but the voice stoped me : "where are you going?". I said to reception for tracking. No chance today because very busy - I said that I have booked for 12 - he shown the parking to sit and wait. OK
I waiting until 12 but still no one back to me. I entered this time reception and the man told me to wait until Steve coming back. He back and not very nicely told me that I should wait more than 30 minutes. I exploded - sorry but to coming from Maidstone to Sittingborne and with booking and to wait 1 hour ( maybe more?)- No and said to him is not acceptable and customer service is 0. He calmed down and OK maybe 15 minutes, I said No because as well his was rough before when he understood that I'm not English and speak another language with my friend( I originally arrived to translate to him). I have British passport and here from 20 years but first time so bad treated! I will speak to their management as well.

I always get my bike tyres and MOT at Watling Tyres Catford branch. Friendly, helpful, fast and efficient - excellent.

Brought my Motorcycle Tyre today to be checked over at the hastings branch and found that the Tyre had needed replacing many years ago. Upon inspection of my wheel rim they found that the previous owner had used tyre weld and it had caused issues that i had probably been experiencing when riding my bike. Thanks Watling Tyres for an outstanding job and service. Your staff made me feel very welcome and answered any questions i had. Will be sure to use you again in future for tyre servicing.

I was scheduled to go away on Friday when I discovered 2 flat tyres, dropped into my local branch as I was passing and effectively gave them carte blanche to replace. The guy at the desk was finishing lunch so his colleague immediately took the car onto the ramp to get it started and they went over all tyres, the verdict was that they could only find a gap so had replaced one tube, corrected all pressures etc. I was there about 20 minutes and there was no charge. Honesty is still alive. There is no doubt where I will go when they do need replacing. Thank you.

Very polite staff

Appalling! Used once and never again. They lost two wheel nuts and scratched my car! All they were looking for was a puncture. They did not even fix the puncture. I drove down the road and my tyre went flat again. Dimwits. I ended up going to formula 1 tyres round by the asda store in Sittingbourne.
Avoid this company and garage and the unprofessional staff who work in there, or do you want your car scratched to!
The staff are slow, idiotic and senseless. What a let down!

I would just like to share my experience with the Swanley branch in kent , I popped in yesterday because I had a screw in my tyre, they took wheel off and came back to me with the news that it was a bit of a screw and hadn't penetrated so they put wheel back on and topped up all for tyres with air and sent me on my way no charge I was gob smacked, its hard to find a good garage these days I have found my garage the SWANLEY BRANCH good bunch of honest lads there well impressed and would highly recommend to any one

I had 4 new tyres fitted to my car on 25.04.15, the wheels were also balanced. While I was in the garage the previous day booking my vehicle in I observed a Mercedes ML having its alloy wheels balanced, the fitter used stick on weights after cleaning the inside of the wheel with a solvent. While my alloy wheels were being balanced the following day I noticed that the same fitter used hammer on weights. Having read up on this and taking advice from another local garage it has become apparent that hammer on weights should not be used on alloys due to the damage that they cause. The car was washed today for the first time since the work was carried out, it was notived that one of the wheels only had 3 of 4 wheel bolts attached. There would be 3 reasons that I can think of for this.
1. The bolt has been stolen(unlikely)
2. The bolt has come loose and fallen out(this would mean that the bolt wasn't correctly torqued up after fitting)
3. The bolt wasn't refitted when the wheel was re-attached(most likely)
I have emailed Watling Tyres twice now asking for their observations on this situation but have not received a response. This review will be updated should I receive a response
