So I've been to this place a few times and they're usually good & honest, today they were not and I can prove it.
I should have questioned it more, but to be honest I just won't come back.
ANYONE PLANNING TO COME HERE DO NOT.
I have a small mini SUV Dacia Spring, it's classed as volume 2 even on the app. The guy insisted I also pay cash in hand and that it is a volume 4 car.
I had a £5 voucher from the previous time, I was charged £10 more than what it should have cost £30 instead of £20 with the discount.
This may not seem like a lot, but it ruins the trust with customers and also is a bit sketchy bringing up CASH IS PREFERED. It's 2025 you have a card machine.
I'd also like to say the wash today was not as good as usual, it was as if they RUSHED it and missed loads.
AVOID I would give 0 if possible.

Brought the car in on way to do a shop in tesco. Stood around while everyone ignored me, despite
saying : Excuse me, can I have a car wash??
When i got back I received no thanks when i paid, or interest shown at all. When I went back to the car I saw lots of marks that hadn't been cleaned. Reluctantly someone came and wiped them off. Pathetic, impolite, useless!

This car wash is easy to access and provides a quick service. However, do not expect a comprehensive car valet. They simply wash your vehicle and skimp over the interior, in my case leaving the upholstery very damp.
The following day it could be seen that there was absolutely no attention to detail, necessitating further cleaning.

Allerton Rd Tesco - Don’t bother going!!
They first charged me for the size of a van for my small corsa to be washed. Their website also states NHS discount, which I was told they don’t do, even tho clearly states they do online. I then realised after paying that they charged me for a large car (most expensive) when I confronted and asked them to refund the difference they tried to blag that the manager has new prices - however this isn’t stated anywhere or online. I had to show them the proof online which they still didn’t want to refund, in the end he through the change at me without an apology. I believe they’re overcharging and pocketing whatever they earn extra. Alloys were also still dirty, would rather jet wash it my self than go there again.

DO NOT GO TO WAVES IN TILING ROAD TESCO.
I watched them deliberately leave a small area of dirt unwiped after a wash. They wanted to make out that I would need to pay more for a full clean.
I wiped it clean on one easy sweep with my tissue.

Lovely experience! Really friendly and helpful staff and my car looks so good. Had lots of stains before from previous owner and they managed to get them all out! The car has a lovely smell and staff were really nice. Thank you!

I tried Waves car wash in Harrow Tesco for the first time.
It cost me £10 more than I used to pay in the Hatch End Morrisons car wash & the wheels were not cleaned properly.
Unimpressed ☹️

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

I was very pleased with the service at Waves Reading

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

I use the service in Tesco Leigh, Greater Manchester. I do find if you use the app bookings go a bit wrong but if you just turn up they will accommodate you and ask that you wait for roughly 1 and a half hours which is fine for me as I can then go shopping. My car looks like new when they do a full valet which is £35 which I think is good compared to other providers, the staff are really friendly and do a really good thorough job.

Tesco broadfields Aylesbury. £75 full Monty. A lot of money for a pensioner to pay to have a crap job done. Lots of dirt still inside car and boot. Hoover wasn’t done properly. Inside door panels still dirty. Glass smeary. Maybe my dad was taken advantage of as he went to this place wanting a gold service. It was really only the inside that needed the most work. It’s an old car and didn’t need a super duper wax coat or whatever it is you do.
Won’t ever be returning. What a rip off!

I went to waves car wash at Tesco near Laindon to get my bmw 4 series coupe washed. I asked how much it cost for the gold wash? They said it would be £28 according to my reg! I said that's not what is says on your board, it should be £20 for the gold wash. They said we have to go with what it says on our tablet! Ok I said how much did you charge for the honda integra you are washing now? He said £20. I asked if he could explain why the £8 difference? He couldn't. So both 2 door coupe but an £8 difference.
I think they just make up the price depending on what car you drive. It's shit that they couldn't explain the price difference so they have lost a customer.

Why don't you just advertise your prices. Absolute joke to ascertain how much you charge. Won't show on website! Sign up for account first. Enter all your details so we can sell your information if you check the boxes. Enter you home address fully! The. Ask for card details before even telling the cost of your services. I will never use and will never recommend phishing con company! Just advertise your prices.
