Gareth did the most amazing job with my car. I haven't had it professionally cleaned for about 6 years, and I have only cleaned the inside twice in that time. I have a fluffy corgi and her fur gets into the sat covers and flooring. It was everywhere but not any more. I have never had such a clean car. And he even got the chewing gum out of one of the seats. Fantastic work. Thank you Gareth!

We spoke to the site manager who asked us to email head office for footage and still to this day they have not provided the footage to prove they didnt scratch the car so seems clear at this point they are trying to hide something!!

Waves in Cheshunt
Waves in Cheshunt. Really poor. Not only do they do a bad job of actually drying and cleaning the car after it’s been jet washed but now they can’t even jet wash it properly? That’s the easy bit isn’t it??!! There was still dirt on the car, the tyres hadn’t been done and the owner tried to tell me it was where he had driven it from the jet wash to where they finish it off. Laughable. They don't finish the job properly, no care and attention, distinct lack of final touches and they charged £32 for inside and out. I watched one of the cleaners who was literally walking round the car just flicking her cloth around the body work, looked like she was half asleep. With that kind of effort our car never stood a chance of getting a proper job done to it. Shockingly bad and wouldn’t return.

I made an appointment for 10.30am
I made an appointment for 10.30am, I arrived in plenty of time, only to be told my car was filthy!( not gonna take a clean car to be cleaned!)
He then told me that it would take 2hrs and would cost more. I did not have this time to spare, so I cancelled. He repeated he was very busy and did not have time to do it anyway!
I have now received an email asking me to pay a cancellation fee of £5!
I don't think so!

Dropped a not so dirty Range Rover sport off. Firstly, £15.00 for a simple wash & dry is well above the average for the area. No tyre shine, the wheels were still very dirty they had only been sprayed with the hose & not actually cleaned.
Staff would only take cash. Only after taking the member of staff to the cash point to prove it was out of order, only then did they reluctantly take bank transfer.
Really poor results for what was already a relatively clean car.
I wouldn’t return.

Attended Waves in Tesco, Amersham and told 1 hour 20 minutes for the valet service. Went back after 1.5 hours and nothing started. Complete waste of our time, unprofessional and untrustworthy. Will not use ANY Waves business in the future

Moody staff, 💩 job. Damage to paint work.
Moody staff. Booked an appointment, told it would be 2 hours because there were orher cars ahead of me, pointless booking a slot then.
Sloppy job, dirt everywhere still. The finish is terrible. Pressure washer on full blast has also damaged the paintwork.
Oh, and I didn't get my free air freshener...
Avoid, use anyone else. 👎
Had to make an addition after response to my review. Nothing but excuses, there should be a set standard that your franchises all follow.
Again, avoid this company.

Visited Witham wave car wash and had a gold service and paid extra to have a real good clean of my driver and passenger seat. Very nicely done and will return for future washes.

What an absolute rip off Waves in New Malden is . I went there today and was told it would cost 20 quid to just wash the outside of my Audi A3. Needless to say I refused to pay that much and went elsewhere. 20 quid to wash a car is unacceptable.

Avoid Waves Brookfield Cheshunt
Anyone thinking of getting car washed /valeted. I would NOT recommend Waves at Tesco Brookfield Cheshunt, nice staff but greedy taking on too many cars at once, wanted platinum full valet told to come back in an hour car had been washed but marks left all over and then told too busy and no time to Polish ,hoovered inside no clean a spray of air freshener, car then sat for further 20 mins while they flitted between other cars being cleaned, WON'T use again.

Scammers - Didcot
They run the scam “your car is very dirty you need to pay extra” on EVERYONE. My car was not very dirty, I took a video in order to further my complaint. They take only cash and pocket the extra money poor, unsuspecting customers pay. No receipts are issued. Avoid at all costs.

Bad cleaning of car from waves…
Took my car to waves car wash this morning on newmarket rd they did a shit job i asked for my car to be cleaned inside and out they left dirty marks on the outside of my car and the inside didn't look like it had been cleaned and the boot certainly did not get hoovered so will not be going there again also paid £30 my grandkids would of done a better job than this im not happy

I went to waves Witham I actually expected a lot better for the full Monty and for a £100 bill. Had a scratch on my door from hedges and I expected a proper car polish for £100 they said it won’t come out so I thought oh well I’ll have to get it professionally done. I come home and thought I’ll try it with a bit of car polish and no effort at all out it came. I don’t quite know what they did between the £100 I paid and the £28 normal charge . An easy £100 made by them but an absolute rip off. An hours work for £100

DODGY experience AVOID
So I've been to this place a few times and they're usually good & honest, today they were not and I can prove it.
I should have questioned it more, but to be honest I just won't come back.
ANYONE PLANNING TO COME HERE DO NOT.
I have a small mini SUV Dacia Spring, it's classed as volume 2 even on the app. The guy insisted I also pay cash in hand and that it is a volume 4 car.
I had a £5 voucher from the previous time, I was charged £10 more than what it should have cost £30 instead of £20 with the discount.
This may not seem like a lot, but it ruins the trust with customers and also is a bit sketchy bringing up CASH IS PREFERED. It's 2025 you have a card machine.
I'd also like to say the wash today was not as good as usual, it was as if they RUSHED it and missed loads.
AVOID I would give 0 if possible.
