Probably as good as it gets

I have had my fair share of grief due to employing the services of trade professionals who did not measure up where due to bad workmanship or simply not turning up when they say they will with heard it all before excuses. I also have a fair bit of personal experience renovating property and I like things done to a decent standard.
I have little to complain about with RHINO...they did turn up as arranged, they did what they were supposed to do and properly including guidance with the cash back scheme which all went painlessly.
Barring one minor breakdown in communication which is nothing compared to my typical experiences, and which was due to a genuine misunderstanding which was soon cleared up, I have no reason to not recommend RHINO for boiler replacement work (cannot comment on other types of work, I suspect however it would be of the same standard as they do seem to care about what they are doing).

I was initially only going to give a 4 star rating because nobody gets 5 stars from me because I am like that... I save 5 stars for mind blowing experiences, like if the guy fitting the boiler had brought me corn flake cakes, made me cups of tea while I watched a film as he carried out his work, and offered to wash my car before leaving, but I realised that in reality this is probably out with the remit of a heating engineer...but then again, if its going to seal the deal :)

professional job well done

New boiler installation and associated work satisfactorily completed without fuss or mess. All tradesmen were very competent.
Pre-assessment of installation and work to be carried out fully explained and date and time of installation agreed and met.
Very good job.
Would recommend Rhino

After care not so great

Good service at installation point however some problems with after care in that phone not answered. No call back for several days! Apologised and said he had been on holiday! Fortunately mine was a minor problem which had been resolved however I now have a lack of confidence that a breakdown in winter months will be quickly repaired. Whilst I appreciate people need a holiday surely a back up service should be in operation.

As I said at the time, it is best to phone the office if you cannot get mysel or anyone else in the company on their mobile's. Rhino - fitted my new boiler with no fuss

From the planning stage right through to the fitting of my new boiler was very professional. The workmen were first class and the job was completed in the allocated time. Would definitely recommend them to all my friends.

FASTEST SERVICES DELIVERED

One of the best services ever received from a company. From reporting a breakdown to finance and delivery and fit of the replacement boiler, these guys should have there own formula one team. It was that quick.

Good service & advice.

From first contact with Stephen regarding the purchase of a new boiler I was very pleased with his depth of knowledge in the subject. I thought I knew what I needed but after discussion my needs were to ambitious and an easier and cheaper product was agreed upon. Install was smooth and worry free and the follow up on completion to ensure the work was carried out to a high standard made my wife happy. All in all, a happy piece of business, cost to my satisfaction and a worrying time passed without the worry.

fantastic service throughout

from start to finish the service from the company was excellent,from the very competitive quote from Stephen who explained every thing clearly and honestly,I received three quotes and his was the cheapest by far.on day of fitting the fitters turned up on the time arranged and set to work straight away ,they were very efficient and polight,nothing was a problem to them.they cleaned up as they went and at the end made sure everything was as it was when they arrived.I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent company to anyone.

Overall, efficient, reliable service.

The process was explained thoroughly and a price was agreed. Rhino was not the cheapest quote I had but the installation advice and plan seemed to be the best suited to my needs. There was some problems prior to installation with getting the engineer out to perform an initial survey. An engineer came out but he was unable to take on the work when we had agreed as he was going on holiday and by the time a second one came out the first one would have had his holiday and been able to do the work, so it would have just been easier to stick with the first one. The job itself took less than a day and everything was completed as agreed. The repair joinery work could have been better but it did the job. When I stated that I wanted to keep the old pipework etc the workmen insisted that they needed to take it but a phone call to Stephen sorted that. With the added extras that Stephen arranged for me when I asked such as new valves for my existing radiators and a new radiator in my bathroom it became very good value for money especially when you take into account the Green Deal (I have not yet received my payment, but the voucher has been submitted, not Rhino's responsibility). I am happy with the service on the whole, I now have an efficient boiler and radiators and when I receive my Green Deal payment the whole process will have been very reasonable indeed. One of the best points about Rhino was the availability of Stephen (co-owner, I think). He was very helpful and delivered a good service from start to finish. He went out of his way to meet me to take care of the paperwork for the Green Deal. I would recommend Rhino to family and friends.

Prompt and competant responce and workmanship.

Rhino staff were at all times friendly and willing to help provide a steer through the grant application process. The workmanship was good and prompt with the after care service being very good.
I would have no hesitation in using their services in the future should the need arise.

Totally recommend this company!!!

I am very impressed by Stephen and his colleagues, who very much delivered beyond what they promised from start to finish! They worked round the clock to make sure the job was done quickly and also ensured all rubbish, old radiators etc were taken away. The finish to the exterior wall was also perfect. Stephen also kept me fully updated with regards to my green deal assessment and was a fantastic help (with Connor) in assisting me in this process. The cost of the job was very reasonable in comparison to other companies!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Rhino for any work- they really did deliver a 5 class service!

OK experience

Actual fitting of new boiler was a good experience, engineers were polite and helpful. The whole experience let down slightly by the other parts of the job. Quote given did not include special deals on their website when challenged gave feeble excuse, also not much correspondence between quote and job completion.

Friendly, speedy and reassuringly professional service

After being left without a boiler from one of the big national companies and being quoted a large bill to replace it, we got in contact with Rhino. Within in a day Rhino had been out to the house to give us a quote (which was much cheaper) and within two days had the boiler fitted. Everyone involved in the job felt really approachable and very helpful dealing with all the questions I had when trying to decide which brand of boiler to opt for. Really happy with the service we recieved from start to finish and would definitely recommend Rhino to anyone looking to get a new boiler.

Excellent & first-class service from Rhino - Recommended *****.

Writing to express our thanks for installing our new Vokera Vision combi-boiler within the last few days. Very professional service from all the personnel who were involved with the installation, from Stephen in Accounts, and Ryan and Robert the technicians who fitted the new boiler in an excellent time of four hours. Kitchen left in a very clean and tidy condition. Very pleased with the outcome. Would have no hesitation in recommending RHINO to family and friends *****.

Very satisfactory service.

We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of the Install, found them to be very clean and tidy. The only draw back was the delay in Finalising / Tidying Up of the Electrical Wiring, including the removal of the Old Timer Etc. but still took place within just over 2 weeks.

As for the Paperwork it was completed very promptly.

We would recommend Rhino Gas & Renewables to anyone looking to replace thier Boiler.
