A very valuable service
Fantastic. Although the experience in question was a sad one (webcast of a funeral service), it was highly appreciated that this service exists and I was able to watch it live over the internet. It gave me the chance to say a final farewell even though I wasn’t in the country. Really appreciated. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this company
I would highly recommend this company.
They helped family and friends to see our photos at my mum’s funeral with chosen songs and for others to watch a webcast with ease who were unable to attend. Thank you Wesley Media

I cannot praise the team at Wesley Media enough!
I cannot praise Richard and the rest of the team at Wesley Media enough. They were extremely helpful and responded to any questions I had almost immediately. Trying to arrange songs and music for a funeral isn't an easy task, especially when there are so many emotions involved, but they made it so easy. Richard was even able to source an instrumental version of a song that didn't appear in their extensive library the same day I put in my request. Having the facility to pre-record my Eulogy was such a relief and he didn't mind me sending in a test version first to check the sound quality. There are no proper words to describe a funeral, but together with the music, songs, pre-recorded message and visual display (played to music), the ceremony was just lovely and I know my Sister would have thought so too.

Easy to use service, improving the reflection part of the funeral
What an easy to use service, that really helped to make my Father's funeral service a celebration of his life. The music was perfectly timed to the pictures and so many attendees commented on how they enjoyed seeing the photos particularly the older pictures.

I could not attend my friends funeral…
I could not attend my friends funeral and was given the link so I could atleast be there virtually. It all started off great but then halfway through the eulogy it cut off and then started to play from the beginning. 11 minutes is all I got, I was absolutely devastated and very upset. I missed alot after they stream was cut off.

I wanted to give my husband the best…
I wanted to give my husband the best send-off I could. I was bowled over by how good the funeral was, except in one important area: that of video. As I have relatives abroad who could not make the funeral in person, I first asked for live streaming. This was granted for £50. I then thought it would be nice to have a permanent record of my day without any of my guests having to be behind a viewfinder. So I asked about a downloadable video being made available. I was told that, for another £30, the livestream would be available to download. This, too, seemed a worthwhile investment. It didn’t appear to me to entail a lot of extra work to make an already recorded and uploaded video available for people to download.
The funeral was really good and I was eager to see the video. It was disappointingly low resolution. The sound had not been recorded close enough to the podium to cut out the echoes of the building (or maybe some reverb on the music was not removed for speech), so it was very difficult to work out what was being said; the video was very fuzzy and there was only one camera angle. I make films myself and this was about as poor as it is possible to get. I was then shocked to discover that this 269mb recording was being offered for a further payment of £30 per copy! Yes, I paid up and downloaded mine because it was the only way I had of remembering my husband’s funeral. But it was very disappointing. Did I really pay £30 for Wesley Media to be allowed to advertise their recording for profit on my husband’s page - and then pay a further £30 to download a poor recording of the service? Exploitation, I call that.

Shockingly awful level of service..
Shockingly awful level of service... the webcast hadn't started at the advertised time... after 30mins I phoned the company.... a male worker informed me it's not a technical issue and couldn't explain what the delay was. After another 30mins I phoned again.. the male admitted it was a tech issue and said he should've told me earlier. I'd specifically taken this time off work to watch an old friends funeral...I eventually watched the recording later in the evening...the quality was supermarket cctv standard...the angle was up in the roof ...would've had better results using a smartphone on a tripod. I was really disappointed with this company.

Don't bother using this service
Don't bother using this service, you would be better off using another medium to record the funeral service of a loved one. I paid £80 for webcast & download.
What was recorded was, anyone at the pulpit on the left hand side of the screen, the resting place for the coffin, centre of screen and the first two rows of pews, right side of screen. The outcome was mainly the backs of the very few members of the congregation that sat in those pews and the backs of everyone else when they exited the Chapel. What a disappointment.
The sound quality was extremely poor, muffled, I had to strain my ears to discern what had been said and couldn't make much out.
I should have reviewed Wesley Media first, but I imagined that on such an important occasion, mine was not the first funeral they ever carried out, that they would have everything down to a fine art. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Nothing worth keeping for posterity. It was so, so disappointing.

We decided to have a webcast for relatives living elsewhere in the world and Wesley media were brilliant with the help and support. Ben couldn't have been more helpful and I would definitely recommend them.

Incompetent, unprofessional. Avoid
Should be zero rating. For my Brother's funeral the company gave out wrong log in details. People had to phone up to get the correct codes just as the service started, codes were even changed at the last minute. We had people around the world hoping to watch who couldn't log in. Incompetent and unprofessional beyond words. Nothing can turn back the clock. Avoid Wesley media at all costs or your service could be ruined forever.

What a brilliant resource
I am a very awkward customer. A know-all and demanding I wanted very specific music for my mother-in-law's funeral. Wesley media were so wonderful and accommodating and made the process of organising the music very easy and efficient. Their system is ordered with a reference for the event so you and anyone else involved in organising an occasion can go on the website to see the status on any music requested. When I spoke to the customer service representatives on the phone they were very friendly and took the time to explain things patiently - and were very polite and didn't start 'reflecting back' and getting all defensive when I started being difficult because I couldn't have my own way as one of the pieces of music I wanted was not commercially available. They made suggestions for versions of pieces that were similar to what I was describing but uploaded new pieces extremely quickly when I asked for available recordings which were not already listed on their website. Overall, Wesley media made a worthwhile, valuable and appreciated contribution to the funeral and helped to make an emotional and difficult time easier, supplying fabulous resources and enabling us to create a beautiful, well-organised and dignified event to celebrate and honour the life of my dear mother-in-law.

Visual tribute was a lovely addition
This company organised a visual tribute at my Mother-in-laws funeral. In the end it was fairly easy to upload some photographs and with the music which we choose it was a special addition to her funeral.

Great Service & Support - Superb
Wesleymedia provided an excellent service and support for the visual tribute at my Uncles Service - Whilst there was 1 small amendment required, the prompt replies and speed of return was most appreciated. Great service - thanks

Professional and helpful company
Wesley Media responded promptly to my queries re. a visual tribute for a funeral service. They were very helpful, and attentive. I phoned them a couple of times with regard to uploading photos, and they picked up quickly and again were friendly and helpful over the phone. All in all, a professional company which I am glad to recommend.

The world is a small big place
Being overseas it was comforting to be able to virtually attend my uncle's funeral. The comments my brother made (he is also in Australia) were well conveyed and of the three of us he was probably the closest to Uncle John, having both visited in person and remained in contact electronically. My mum passed away last year and I feel she too would have appreciated the way the service was handled.

Unexpected and much appreciated
We were offered the opportunity to have a recording of the funeral service. This will allow his many friends to watch. It was an unexpected benefit. The recording was of a good quality and was sent through quickly. Thanks to all involved for making a tough day a little easier.

Worked flawlessly, thank you.
After reading so many bad reviews I wasn’t expecting much, & presumed the live stream would stop after a few minutes (if it worked at all) and some members of the family had been warned that this might be the case.
However, my Dad’s funeral took place today at Park Wood Crematorium (Elland, near Halifax UK) and to everyone’s surprise there were no problems at all.
Relatives in New Zealand, Denmark & across the UK watched the live stream in its entirety without any problems at all! Although there was only one, fixed camera.. it was a clear image, the audio was good & the whole funeral was streamed from a few seconds before anyone appeared, until the end.. when the last person had left the room.
Not only that, but I was even able to watch it all again when I got home.
Thank you Wesley Media, & thank you Charles Wood Funeral Services (Dignitiy)

Comment from Ireland
I want to praise Wesleymedia for two aspects of their service.
1. Because of their streaming service, I was able to virtually attend my sister-in-law's funeral from my home in Ireland.
2. I am delighted with their efficiency - I ordered a copy of the video on the evening of the funeral, and it was delivered to my in-box the next day.
They seem to me to be a very effective firm, judging by my positive experience with them.

Feels like spying on a funeral
I sadly could not attend my Nans funeral as she lived 4 hours away and we decided not to take the risk with COVID. We did watch it via live stream at an extra cost. The quality of the stream is disappointing. It’s like watching on a old cctv camera. There is no zoom, so you watch from a distance and they don’t zoom into the celebrant. The stream starts very suddenly and not until the funeral has actually started, then at the end it cuts of suddenly before the mourners have left the room. It was hard enough not being there, the lack of these small things made it very hard to watch. Our doorbell, that has camera / sound has better video quality. Just want other mourners to be prepared it isn’t so nice. It just feels like a money making thing that these people have latched onto. With no thought about making it as like being there as possible. They also charge extra for a downloadable copy which we needed for my Nans sister as she is too elderly and vulnerable to attend. My husband has done his best to make the quality as good as possible and make it as gentle as it can be.
