We recently used West Cornwall Removals for our move, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the whole experience was professional, efficient and completely stress-free.

A special thank you to Tyler, who was absolutely fantastic throughout. His communication was excellent from the very beginning, keeping us informed every step of the way and always responding quickly to any questions we had. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.

The whole team worked incredibly hard, treated all of our belongings with care, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly where we wanted it.

Used this company to remove and store our possessions for a short time and to deliver them to our new home. The initial removal and the storage was fine.
However the delivery out of storage to our new home was not good. They failed to secure our furniture and possessions properly for the 400 mile trip and consequently everything was thrown around in the lorry. Lots of damage was caused and lots of upset and stress for us.
The only thing we got from them was an insurance claim form, and that was it.
Their insurance requires quotes for damages to be repaired, and unsalvagesble items must be retained for inspection.
When you’ve just moved it’s already a stressful time. It’s not acceptable that you have the added stress and expense at a time like this. We certainly didn’t expect that they would be so negligent and careless.
They were very dismissive of our upset and one comment was “it’s just scuffs”.
Don’t use this company.. they cannot be trusted to be respectful towards your belongings and it seems they don’t care.
Unfortunately for us we paid upfront. If we hadn’t done that we certainly wouldn’t have paid the fee for removal out of store to our new house.

In connection with a move from Cornwall to Gloucestershire, Tyler was extremely patient when waiting for us to give him a completion date (because solicitors took their time). Then when we eventually got the go-ahead, Graham and Aidan were very efficient and cheerful in packing and loading, and then unloading their very full wagon the next day - despite the rain.

An excellent service, we would highly recommend West Cornwall Removals.

We would like to thank all the team who moved us from Cornwall to Somerset for their care, consideration, courtesy and skilful handling of our possessions during the packing process, the move and the unloading.

On recommendation, we used West Cornwall Removals for our recent move from London to North Cornwall. Half the price quoted by a London based competitor. They did the move across 3 days. Cannot fault at all. Worked hard, very accommodating, and very professional. Did all the packing, very securely. They were a great bunch of guys too. Highly recommend.

First class service, they go over and above to make the experience as smooth as possible.

We moved from Cornwall to Denmark and hired West Cornwall Removals. Prior to the agreement we was presented with a fixed price after we went through 3 meetings to make sure all was agreed. On the day when they should pick up they realised that they could not have it all on one lorry and following we accepted a price for a smaller 2nd lorry. The 2nd lorry would be delayed and we could expect it to take into the first week of January however it ended up being 3 weeks later than promised. The first lorry arrived as planned and everything was in good order. However when the 2nd lorry arrived nearly a month after it was in such a bad order and they demanded the remaining payment before the driver would arrive. Unfortunately we agreed to release the remaining payment just to discover that we had a lorry full of damage goods, missing items and a complete unorganised lorry where our dear items was complete jampacked, bended and broken. To add to the story the lorrydriver asked us to sign a document before he open the lorry, in which we agreed that damage items was a risk and we would not be refunded. The document we refuse to sign. We called them admitely when it became clear what the situation was and was told that we should take pictures and make a list of damage items and they would be replaced or paid for. And the lorry driver was on his own only assisted by his youn daughter and suddenly it was our responsebility to help him emptying the lorry. Since we have only very little response and was asked to go out and get repair prices even if a lot of the items could not be repaired and we gave them prices for replacement which they ignored. So all in all a dreadful experience

Amazing service from a very friendly and welcoming company … Tyler organised and kept communication going and Peter helped me move my doggy and 2 cats he was absolutely amazing. My nervous dog took to him within minutes - we were very well taken care off. Highly recommend 5* thank you! Thank you!

First class service from Tyler and his team. We moved from Sussex to Cornwall and they made the process incredibly smooth. Graham’s driving skills were the most incredible whilst reversing the truck up a narrow Cornish hilly road to the house, amazing! All the team were cheerful, friendly and hard working. Couldn’t ask for more.

Moved from Hertfordshire to West Cornwall.
Our date changed but Tyler was adaptable with our booking. Tyler responded within minutes when we raised questions.
Team arrived on time. Dillon and Josh worked very hard all day. The absolute be we could hope for. We couldn't have asked for more. Furniture was kept on the lorry for 4 days until purchase was complete. Bradley, Ollie and Pete moved us in. We would thoroughly recommend and would certainly use again

We selected WCR to move some furniture to two separate locations upcountry; although collection was delayed - and the communication of this could have been better - once the date was refixed, the team did a great job collecting the items and delivering them to the two locations the same day: they were pleasant, friendly and helpful

Used these guys for my recent move from Cornwall to Nottingham… great service and great value. They are very flexible when it comes to moving .. I ended up exchanging and completing same day .. and not being sure of my actual date was not an issue to them. The boys on the day were fabulous .. fast, polite and efficient … and not at all phased when we didn’t get the keys on time.. cannot recommend these guys enough .. thank you

We recently used this local family firm for our move and they certainly took a lot of the stress out of the day. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely cheerful.
