Brilliant service! I have spent weeks searching for fire and after finally finding the right model this company were the cheapest I could find by £50. After doing a little research to ensure they were a respectable company (I understand that cheapest isn’t always best sometimes) and reading the reviews I placed an order Sunday night...by Monday lunch I had received a confirmation call and delivery was arranged for Thursday (considering the current covid 19 situation I thought this was extremely quick). Fire arrived on time, well packaged and working perfectly. Thank you...I would highly recommend!

I contacted West Country Fires with a random enquiry about electric fires and cannot praise the quality of service highly enough. Completion of the online enquiry form was followed up with a call from the company shortly after submitting it. Given current isolation conditions, I wasn't expecting the business to be operating let alone to receive a call so soon after the form was sent. The surround and size of fireplace aperture in my living room narrowed the options dramatically and yet I still had a choice of very attractive fires to choose from. I was also sent a video of the type of fire I liked working which helped me visualise what it would look like in my fireplace.

West Country Fires exceeded my expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending them to other customers. I cannot wait to take delivery of my new fire and see it up and running!

Living in Lincolnshire we did not get to visit the showroom our only contact was via the telephone. We found all the individuals we spoke to were very pleasant and delivered a very efficient service. The fire arrived promptly and well packed.
I would have no hesitation in recommending West Country Fires based on our experience.

After carefully deciding on the correct gas stove for us, we shopped around online for the best price on the complete package (stove, flue kit decorative collar and shipping) and West Country Fires were £80 cheaper than the competitors, they also had one in stock. We placed the order via their website, paid in full and received a conformation email and invoice the next day. The delivery date was arranged and was faultless. Unfortunately, we had been sent a 5" decorative collar instead of a 6" version, but I needn't have worried, one single phone call had that sorted... the correct replacement part arrived three days later.

I ordered an LPG tunnel fire through west Country Fires. It was all delivered and a couple of weeks later my fitters and an LPG registered plumber turned up to carry out the install. The install was started only for the plumber to discover the fire was NOT LPG. West Country Fires admitted the error and arranged for the correct fire to be delivered. I had to take another unpaid day off work for the new fitting (I am self employed) and my fitter charged me £150 for the previous lost day. West country fires gave me a flue pipe in compensation. Big Deal!! I then had an email from them saying I had not returned the extra set of logs that came with the new fire (saying my fitters might have them) and they were going to bill me £250. I never received an extra set of logs and told them so. Quite happy to solve matter in court if they wish as I am fuming at being messed about so much without any valid compensation even offered. The view from them was "we have lost money in this also" Not my problem I felt. Only positive is the fire is lovely but that has nothing to do with them as they just buy it in

We were looking for an eReflex 135R and WCF had a very good online price, bettered by the 10% collection discount offered. The two ladies I spoke to in sales could not have been more help on the phone and when I picked up the fire today were lovely, friendly and efficient. Two particularly great guys in the warehouse packaged up the fire and squeezed it into my rather inadequate car and could not have been more helpful or professional. Overall I have to say it was the best purchasing experience I have had during the extensive renovation project I have been doing over the last year. Yet to install the fire so cannot comment on it living up to my high expectations - the one thing I would advise is these fires are a lot bigger (and much heavier) than a casual inspection of the brochure suggests! (The 135R eReflex/Skope is 66kg!) If I were ever to need another fire I would happily drive the 200miles to WCF again!

As a builder we have used West Country fires on numerous occasions and will continue to do so as very professional with a smile.

Sarah from sales was very accommodating - I had been dithering on the edge of buying a Skope/eReflex 135R for a while and I knew if I did buy it would be from West Country Fires because they had consistently had the best price. I contacted them to check the eReflex and Skope were one and the same fire and to explain my indecision predicament. It was holding up a false chimney breast I was building which I wanted to get on with at the weekend (the following day!). I am sure expecting a next day delivery was unusual but they went one better and said they could deliver within a few hours for me which was all I needed to take the plunge and purchase the fire.

I got a call from a very polite delivery driver, Harry saying he would be about an hour, and asked very kindly if I wouldn't mind helping him unload the item, which I was more than happy to.

There is nothing more you can ask from a company - great prices, lovely staff, prompt delivery.

I know I am reviewing the company and not the fire, but I am really impressed with that fire too.

Sarah in sales was extremely friendly and helpful, as we have not had a delivery date from the factory yet I am able to comment on overall satisfaction but will leave further feedback on delivery.

Lovely and helpful staff, super friendly and informative. Helped us source a new fire as the one provided in our house that we had just moved into was not to our taste. Speedy delivery too.

Excellent on time delivery service in the price. Sarah (Sales) very helpful and we would recommend this company to any purchaser.
Product price point better than anywhere else we could find.
One minor problem, (which may be specific to the manufacturer and not West Country Fires) was that we were told that guarantee registration would trigger a three year warranty - in fact it is two years which is still acceptable.
Update today 15th Aug.
Sarah of West Country Fires has contacted the manufacturer and they have now confirmed an error: you do indeed get a 3 year warranty. Great service from WCF who really deserve six stars.

I had an excellent experience with Sarah at West Country Fires, she called me to make sure that the delivery was on a date that worked for me. I even asked to change the order and nothing was too much trouble, they speak to their customers with respect and get back to you when they say that they will. Thoroughly professional, would highly recommend.

Amazing service. Ask them to jump in, as we had been let down and they got straight to work and installed a wonderful wood burner. All just in time for Christmas.
