I had put an order in but when I read my statement I noticed that I had missed something of it so I phoned up and it was amended straight away

I ordered 4 items after making an account and entering my card details so as far as I knew the moneys gone and items I ordered would be with me a soon as they can. I then received an email receipt/invoice listing the 4 items and informing me that the money will be taken once the items have been dispatched which I have no problem with. I then go onto my online banking and it says I have 2 pending transactions, not 1 but it doesn’t say any more than that but I know iv only granted one transaction. I then googled the company to see if anyone has experienced this and sure enough almost everybody has had the same problem, buying a single item atomically signs you up for a subscription service. Apparently it’s very clear that that’s what is happening but I didn’t see it and thousands of others didn’t see it so how clear was it really? I then figured I’d get ahead of these payments being taken and cancel everything because they claim to be very helpful with this time of situation. Sooo I go back to the site to log in and it tells me my accounts has been deactivated and I need to verify my accounts I just have to go though the email they send me for verification, I look and there is no email from them apart from the original bill. I then use there help section which was useless but it eventually told me to email them with my problem and they’ve ignored me. If the items show up I’m ok with that as that’s exactly what I wanted but if a second payment comes out it’s theft as I have absolutely no way to stop it.

I was charged £28.99 for an overdue balance that I do not recognise or accept.
I did not subscribe to any ongoing service or agree to any recurring payments. My only authorised transaction was for a single badge. Despite this, I later received an item I did not request, followed by an invoice.
This appears to be an unauthorised charge. I have requested that the invoice be cancelled and offered for the unsolicited item to be collected from my address.
This experience raises serious concerns around billing practices and transparency. I would advise others to be cautious before making any purchase.

I purchased two coins under an offer that clearly stated I would only need to pay £4.99 for postage. However, after a month, I discovered that £29 had been deducted from my account for a so-called “subscription,” which I was not made aware of at the time of purchase. This is entirely unacceptable and appears to rely on misleading marketing practices. I did not knowingly agree to any subscription, and I consider this charge to be unjustified.
I would like to return both coins and request a full refund of all charges incurred.

Was unaware that by accepting the free gift if of a concorde coin, automatically signed me into a monthly subscription.
I only found out when I saw a payment coming out of my credit card. I was totally misled and surprised these tactics are legal.

Absolute con artists.
Offer a single coin at postage and packing price only then scam you into a subscription that debits money without authorisation.
Tried to speak to Kelly (customer services) who was very patronising and condescending.
I strongly believe these sales tactics are designed to trick the older generation into a subscription they did not sign up for or want.
This company should hold their heads in shame at their sales tactics.

I placed an order for an item which required a payment of “£2.99 upon despatch”. The details on my bank app to approve the payment showed a payment of £0.00. I therefore cancelled the order as I was wary that more than £2.99 would be deducted from my account. Received prompt and satisfactory response explaining why payment was shown as £0.00. I will re-order.

I resent the fact that by accepting the free gift if a spitfire pin , automatically signed me into a contract , to pay a monthly subsription £22
I panicked when i saw the payment go out of ny bank
I called customer services an cancelled
The staff were very nice and said i could claim a refund on return of the goods already sent out . Too late to cancel . But stopped all further payments

Purchased a Queen Elizabeth II 100 year commemorative coin from this lot . They sent me a totally different coin of King Charles . Fell like I’ve been scammed . I have read on this site about poor packaging and envelopes being interfered with . I WANT WHAT I PAID FOR !.
They say I can return the coin for a full refund . So I would suggest this is a possible scam to get rid of a load of junk coins that they can’t sell . Some people will just except that coin so it’s a win win for them . My plaster has been “ RIPED OFF “ !!

Nightmare experience. I ordered a single coin, but somehow ended up subscribed. I cancelled the subscription straight away, yet another package still arrived, asking for over £30 for two 50p coins that simply aren’t worth it. After receiving a second letter, I even tried to pay just to sort it out, but their website wouldn’t let me. I honestly have no words, just hope this gets resolved soon. Safe to say, this will be the last time I buy anything from this company.
