Terrible place
Terrible place. Drove an hour to look at a car. Craig spent ages taking personal data from my wife which I think was totally unnecessary under the Data Protection Act 2018 given that we were clear from the outset that we would purchase cash. After all that, he wouldn't let my wife test drive the car because I was cross with him - although always calm! I wouldn't buy a car from them, and if you're considering going for a test drive, don't bother! Ironically, the car looked quite good and we might have bought it - their loss, I guess.

While this can sometimes feel detailed, it forms part of our compliance responsibilities and helps ensure that every transaction is handled correctly and transparently.
Similarly, when a part exchange is involved, we always aim to agree a provisional valuation before arranging a test drive. This is simply to make sure expectations are aligned and to avoid wasting anyone’s time if we are too far apart on figures. We appreciate that valuations can sometimes differ from online buying services, as our offers are based on the vehicle’s condition, preparation costs, and current retail market considerations.

I bought a car from WCS many years ago which is still going strong. And we have had service and MOT on three cars on a regular basis .In my opinion a one stop shop for sales, service repairs, and MOT with a 5 star experience.

Very friendly staff
Very friendly staff, booked the test drive for one car, wasn’t sure about my choice, they were not pushy at all, showed me the other car, let me to take it for a test drive without any problems at all. Explained everything to the details, gives me all the time I needed to make the decision.

Very professional. The whole transaction was made easy with all paperwork including road tax and log book admin completed beforehand.

I had a fault with my Mercedes he came down to my house and found the fault with the diagnostics machine, my car was taken into the garage at Sturdys 2 days ltr it was ready for me to collect fault fixed highly recommended thank you for a very quick repair will highly recommend

Decent car sales room
After an extensive search for the perfect car, my wife finally discovered a promising option at Wheatley Car Centre. Intrigued by the vehicle, she decided to visit the dealership for a closer look. Upon arrival, she was greeted by Gareth, who was more than willing to answer all her questions about the car's features and history. Impressed by the vehicle, she decided to reserve it and later returned home to finalize the process by placing a deposit.
While the initial experience was quite positive, we encountered some challenges with communication throughout the process. We were aware that Gareth was unwell, which may have contributed to the lack of updates, but it still felt somewhat inadequate. On the day we went to collect the car, we experienced a significant hiccup: there was no paperwork ready for us. Another salesperson had to spend time searching for the necessary documents, which was a bit disconcerting.
That said, I must emphasize that the car itself is fantastic. We were pleased that the salespeople at Wheatley Car Centre were not pushy; they respected our decision-making process throughout the journey. However, there were instances where we had to take the initiative to check on the status of our deposit, as we didn't receive proactive updates.
Despite these communication issues, I would consider using Wheatley Car Centre again in the future. This was my second experience with them, and both times, the cars I purchased were exceptional. I would also definitely recommend them to others, as I believe that their quality of cars outweighs the minor setbacks we experienced.
