I booked an engineer visit to repair washing machine went wrong

I booked an engineer visit to repair my washing machine and he arrived late over 1:30hrs and even though I have a visitors permit for his van; he left my home saying that I don’t have permit for the van but I said I have it. He said he want to see his van but he left without saying anything.
I contact whirlpool website regarding that and it wasn’t helpful

Beyond disgusted

Beyond disgusted, dishwasher breaks down after less than 2 months owning it. Had to wait 2.5 weeks for an engineer. Engineer clears the fault but the same fault occurs within 24 hours. Now being told I have to wait another 1.5 weeks for an engineer. So my appliance will not work for 33% of time I have owned it (at minimum). Utterly ridiculous

Dissatisfied and disappointed

Today an engineer call to fix my tumble dryer I was extremely sick and could not get out of bed due to having an operation. The engineer would not do the work unless I got up for him to physically see me . I phoned and the advisor was not helpful. This is the second time in a week that I have had to calm out an engineer. Came last monday and had to call them the next day . Very unhappy and dissatisfied .

Cannot easily get hold of anyone in…

Cannot easily get hold of anyone in person to complain about engineers visits and some rudeness when engineer visits earlier than agreed via text and just disappears. Waiting in for engineers visit on 2 occasions and does not have correct parts, now waiting over 3 weeks for repairs, very disappointing service

Washing Machine

Poor customer service!!!

Tried to call and was put through to a call centre which was closed… tried to book online and no option to select the fault we have which is a smoking machine. Tried to speak to someone online as the phone line said this option is available on Sundays and was connected to a bot who gave inaccurate information for booking. No transparency that I had not been put through to a real person on chat. Very poor and very frustrating experience overall.

Poor customer focus

20 minutes to get through to discuss a fault with a new washing machine, 20 minutes on the call including a video link only to get cut off. Thd advisor was helpful, but I fully expected them to call me back, as they had all the details. Eventually I had to call back and repeat the same process again and I was aslo subjected to a sales pitch about a extended warranty. Eventually I am getting an engineer in 3 days for a machine that is less than a month old.

I was on the phone I was next in line…

I was on the phone I was next in line then they put the phone down ,when I tried to get through again said we are shut call back Monday, my cooker was coming tomorrow Saturday haven't got a time so I carnt call out cooker fitted to give him a time .just a waste of time

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Have been without a washing machine for nearly two months now. I would give a rating of lower than this if I could. There have been three repairs booked, and all three have been aborted for no reason without any notice. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a company. Don't buy from Hotpoint - stake out some extra money on a brand with better customer service, it will save you money on anger management therapy.

Poor online chat service

No ability to speak to a person. Online adviser took a long time to answer messages. Didn't read the messages to respond properly and just disconnected me without any reason. Had to pay private now when under warranty
