I am beyond frustrated with Whirlpool's…

I am beyond frustrated with Whirlpool's utterly deplorable customer service, and I feel compelled to share this appalling experience to warn others and demand accountability. Over 10 days ago, I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine, expecting a seamless installation and demonstration process from a reputed brand. Instead, I’ve been met with nothing but incompetence, unprofessionalism, and outright disrespect from their service team.

The so-called "demo guys"—Virender, Vipin, Shoaib, and Ram Veer Singh—have been a nightmare to deal with. Not only has my washing machine remained uninstalled for over a week and a half, but these individuals have shown zero regard for customer satisfaction. They consistently ignore my calls, leaving me in the dark about when—or if—my machine will ever be functional. On the rare occasions they do pick up, their attitude is shockingly rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, treating my legitimate concerns as an inconvenience to them. This is not the behavior one expects from a company like Whirlpool, which claims to prioritize customer care.

I’ve been patient, making repeated calls, sending emails, and following up, only to be met with empty promises and zero progress. My household is disrupted, my time is wasted, and I’m left regretting ever choosing Whirlpool. This level of negligence is unacceptable for a brand that markets itself as a leader in home appliances. I demand immediate action—either install my machine promptly with a proper demonstration or issue a full refund. Whirlpool, your customers deserve better than this shameful display of service. I have been continuously calling your service team for the last three days. Every time, I am kept on hold for 10–15 minutes, but I do not receive any response. It is very difficult for me to wait on the call for so long. Kindly look into my issue immediately and provide a prompt resolution.

It’s very bad service

It’s very bad service. Not willing to recommend. New AC installed has water pipe licking issues. Just begging to come to check once. Neither they receives calls nor attended. So pathetic. Requesting Whirlpool to check on the service provider from Bangalore. Its really worst.

Extremely Disappointing Service

Extremely Disappointing Service

I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator from Bangalore, and recently had to raise a complaint for a repair. A technician visited but left without informing me whether the refrigerator could still be used. He mentioned that parts needed to be ordered — and now it’s been over three weeks with no progress.

My refrigerator has been completely non-functional, making daily chores extremely difficult. The store from where I purchased it is least bothered — they are not even answering my calls. I also took an extended warranty, but it’s proving to be completely useless.

Even the ResQ app team service is careless and neglectful of my requests. There is absolutely no proper follow-up or communication. I really don’t understand why Whirlpool is tied up with such unresponsive service centers.

This is not how a brand should treat its customers. We invest lakhs of rupees expecting good technology and reliable service, but when a part replacement takes this long, it completely erodes trust in the brand.
Still the problem has not been resolved .
Overall, an extremely disappointing experience.

My name is Manas and I had purchased 1.5 ton split AC on the date of 30th April 2025 from Raj communication jaitpur Badarpur New Delhi pin code 110044,

After sometime the remote is not working and I tried so many times but still remote is not working at that point of time so I raise the complain on your customer support team there was one technician named Deepu he visited on my home and ask 1800 for a new remote, also my AC is under warranty so there is no need to charge any amount from the customer but still he has taken 900 rupees INR from me and now he is not responding to my call even I haven't received my remote yet I am attaching the receipt copy below for your reference please look into it and get back to me as soon as possible and do me needful.

This is the biggest fraud I have ever heard about Whirlpool I am attaching the contact details of the technician as well just look into it..

Today in morning when I called the technician he was saying that now I am not available in Delhi I am in my hometown I cannot do anything he has provided one contact number name Salman Khan he is performing as an area manager in Jaitpur I have his contact details as well I am attaching the both contact numbers below you can find the attachment.

I need my resolution by today otherwise I have to take any offensive action regarding this in consumer court this is a fraud.

Very bad product

As iam a whirlpool customer..I had purchased washing machine in pai international in 2021 now it's repair the executive visited and telling that the part. I purchased a fridge 7 years back with…

I purchased a fridge 7 years back with a warranty of 10 years for compressor. I had a problem with the fridge regarding cooling and finally got the information that the spare parts (board) is not available with Whirlpool and they have stopped manufacturing it. How can they do it like this... should they not take time to provide the spare parts since it is within the warranty period. Does whirlpool expects me to buy a new fridge when I can get it corrected with 1200 rupees of a board. Secondly, the customer care and vendors never commit to timeline and my issue is going on for the last 27 days and I am finally planning to go to the consumer court for such a poor customer service. By the way, I bought whirlpool washing machine a year back and within 8 months I had issue and continue to face the drum issue with too much of noise etc. I am fed up on this and humbly request the customers to avoid whirlpool products.

Dear Whirlpool Service Team,

Dear Whirlpool Service Team,

This is a formal complaint regarding your appalling delay and negligence in servicing my Whirlpool air conditioner under the AssurEdge HomeCare Plan (Application No: HPW2329102).

I raised a complaint on 6th June 2025 regarding a fault in the unit. After inspection, your technician diagnosed a faulty outdoor board and assured me that the replacement would take 10 days. Instead, it took your team a full month to return — only to then claim that the issue was actually a faulty fan motor, not the board.

Again, I was told the motor would arrive in 10 days. Now, another month has passed. On contacting your team, I was informed that a wrong part (indoor fan motor) was ordered and that the delay will now be “immense.” You’ve had two months, two diagnoses, and two failed promises — and still no resolution.

This is a complete breach of contract and reflects total service failure on your part.

I am not interested in any more scripted apologies or vague timelines. I paid for a Comprehensive Plan, and this is not what I signed up for.

I demand:
• Immediate scheduling of the correct repair visit within 3 working days
• Full resolution of the issue at no additional cost

If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate the issue to the District Consumer Forum, National Consumer Helpline, and public grievance platforms, including social media — with full evidence of your contract and communication failures.

I expect immediate corrective action, not more excuses.

Extremely Disappointing Service Experience with Whirlpool Washing Machine

I raised a service request with Whirlpool customer care on July 14th to repair my washing machine, which is still under warranty. A technician finally visited on July 16th after multiple follow-ups and told me the sensor would be replaced within 3 days. After that, there was no update or progress.

Despite repeatedly following up, the technician stopped responding completely. I was later told that Whirlpool had outsourced service to an external agency. Eventually, I was given a contact number for a service manager named Nandana. To my surprise, it was the same person I had already spoken to earlier — multiple times — and every time, her response was the same: “Technicians are busy, we’ll call you back in 15 minutes.” Of course, no one ever called back. I had to keep calling on my own.

What’s really frustrating is not that the technician resigned — I understand that can happen — but that no one at Whirlpool or the agency showed any willingness to help. There was no reassignment, no ownership, and absolutely no courtesy in their communication. Nandana in particular was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked why there was such a long delay, her tone was disrespectful, and she offered no support or solution.

It’s now July 29th — more than two weeks — and I still have no resolution. I’ve finally decided to contact local repair services and spend my own money to fix something that Whirlpool should’ve handled under warranty.

Whirlpool needs to understand they are losing customers because of this kind of poor service, lack of responsibility, and unprofessional staff. I will not consider Whirlpool again, and I strongly advise others to look at better brands like IFB or others who take post-sales service seriously.
