Since I joined WhiskyInvest Direct about 8 months ago I’ve had excellent service from the Support Desk. This coupled with the ease with which the system embraces new clients and the simplicity of purchasing and selling whisky makes for an enriching (hopefully in more ways than one) and enjoyable experience. Whisky Invest Direct - I can strongly recommend this investment platform. I haven’t been using WID for long, but setting up the service on my smart phone was easy and intuitive. With stellar help from their customer services - a real person i may add - the whole process went through without a hitch. A few days from opening an account, sending in funds, to purchasing my 1st batch of fine maturing whisky, all went smoothly like clockwork. What’s not to like.

A genuine and useful "alternative" investment in uncertain times.
WhiskyInvestDirect have asked me to "share my thoughts" about the service they provide (with NO incentive, I might add). I have used their website and been a customer for three years. The website is easy to use and always available. Whisky ("Scotch") is a useful "alternative" investment and consumption is forecast to continue to rise worldwide - prices increase, on average, five to ten percent annually - there was a very brief downward "blip" in the Spring when world stock markets crashed but the upward trend quickly resumed. An interest in whiskey is not essential - in summary, it is a steady investment in these uncertain times and WhiskyInvestDirect provide a decent and genuine way for the public to invest in Scotch while it matures in the distillery. If or when the time comes to sell, funds are credited back to one's bank account within one or two working days.

Good platform, uncertain investment vehicle
Good platform, uncertain investment vehicle.
Been a customer for four months and have a negative return of -0.54 GBP. Time will tell if it is a profitable investment as one thought.
Would be good to be able to operate in EUR as currency conversion significantly erodes the return on a short to mid term basis.
As many others I come from BullionVault.
