Staff friendly enough , wasn’t expecting the car to fail on so much , thing is not everyone has £700-800 spare and had no facility like bumper so that I could have the work done. Very dissapointed paid £188 for service and m o t and car is now doing nothing

I arrived to have my aircon re gassed and was greeted by extremely friendly staff and was informed what the process would be to re gas my air con which i was totally happy about. I was also made aware about the AIR-CON REFRESH BOMB which when explained would re freshen up the inside of my car and clean out any bacteria. after the job was complete the air con was now EXTRA EXTRA cold and the interior smelt absolutely fantastic. overall it was money well spent. 100% A+ rating for the guys at Continental Motors.

Checked for quotes from different garages for oil change for my Toyota. I was provided many quotes from almost all garages in the area and booked with one. Very good app

I found it really easy to use the site and make a booking for the work to be done on my car.

My car AC needed recharging. It took me just a few minutes to post the job on FixMyCar - I received several offers and the one I went with was about 35% cheaper than my local shop. The job was done perfectly. Positive experience.

Website took my booking and confirmed via email, garage had stopped dealing with fixmycar years ago ans didnt get the notification of booking, was fully booked.
Fixmycar sent a booking confirmation without checking with the garage in any way.

I’m very disappointed I used fix my Car app. Everything was going well until I got handed over to the garage I Left them an email asking for information not even a reply to say they are too busy. It is an old rule never go with the cheapest they are very unreliable, I would like to leave the name of the garage that let me down but I imagine they might try to take me to court or something whoever owns this app they need to look into reliability of the tradesmen you are trying to promote again very disappointed.

After my previous review on May 20th I have received Emails from 'Fix My Car' concluding with the last one stating that after the initial online quote the mechanics are at liberty to increase it if they see fit!
In my reply I stated that it was strange because in the last 5/6 years of dealing with this garage they have always honoured the original quote and if further work was required they always contacted me for my permission to go ahead which as far as I know is the mirrors most reputable garages. All I can say now is I would recommend checking with the garage that they will stick with the quote you are given as although mine was increased by £20 (not directly from In n Out) and is not an earth shattering amount there is a principle involved!

Really easy and convenient. Way to get accurate quotes for car repairs would not hesitate to use again.

Booked a cambelt and water pump replacement on my car. Was told on day after leaving car at garage that "who can fix my car" had only sent out the cambelt and water pump without a full kit (so no tensioners etc) and so job had to be repriced from £400 to £640. Annoying as I had taken time off work and dropped car off at garage and was only told about the price change 3 hours later.

Sound guy, a little extra work was added , but no extra charge. Van left clean and tidy when finished.

As a garage on the whocanfixmycar platform, not only do we have to pay £150 per year to use the platform they have now put the comission fees we pay up astronomically. Nearly £80 we have to pay per clutch booked in. Garages are now actually losing money on any jobs booked in through whocanfixmycar. The only way we can now stay on the platform is to hike our prices up, which means its costing customers even more for repairs just to cover the costs that whocanfix are now charging. Its dissappointing as we have been on the platform for a good few years now.

I got a mobile mechanic from KPL mechanics. he was asked the change brake disjs and pads stripped an bolt and he put an exhaust bolt in my brake instead of getting brake caliper bolt the exhaust bolt was normal steel abd not designed for thejob, it was too long and he put 4 washers to pad it out, what he did was dangerous. He also put wrong exhaust on my car from 2 different makers that did not fit together properly and made a loud raspberry blowing noise, and suprise, suprise I got stopped. I ended up going to an garage to have it fixed, this is when I found out about the bolt. The exhaust was bodged and was leaking dangerous gasses leaking into the car. He is a nice enough fellow but does not seem to know what he is doing, do not let him near your car.
