The fitting and quality of the products that were used was very poor. I got two year warranty but when I called them to sort something out they said it was my fault that it happened. The workmanship was not great. I had to change the silicone after less than two years. The plumber said that the silicone Wickes used was very cheap. Do not use this company, two year warranty does not mean anything.
They responded to my review on Trustpilot to pretend that they were concerned about my experience. But they never followed up. It is all act to impress potential customers.

I am doing the bathroom and Dean was really helpful in finding the tiles so I could see them - knew exactly what I was talking about; having ordered them and deciding instead on a home delivery, Jackie and Naranda were also immensely helpful - Jackie helping me unload 18 boxes of tiles from the car and push a very heavy trolley back and Natanda in refunding then reordering them to my address. What some people may have found bothersome, they didn’t and were so focused on me getting what I needed with the least stress. Efficiency, helpfulness and knowledge of staff at Brighton Wickes first rate. How shops should be!

Designer: Great experience dealing with Sam (occasionally Rebecca too)! Sam got the design and quotes out lightning fast and was happy to deal with all my change requests. Rebecca happy to deal with me while Sam was out. Sam and Rebecca seem to go the extra mile without being asked so management should recognise that!
Installer: (Clemison) Clem and his son (who should be named!) did a great job with our install. Lindsay happy to help with any queries. Friendly bunch and knew what they were doing and did a great job, we have no problems with the install. Put up with some backseat installing too :D
Overall an excellent experience and we’ve ended up with a lovely kitchen. We would highly recommend anyone named above for dealing with kitchen design and install.
Only negative thing I’d say is that our case was passed to the after sales team (early) which apparently was not standard. This caused a fair amount of friction(some contention) between customer+designer+installer and the after sales team. This was not enough to remove a star, but yeah hoping it doesn’t happen for our bathroom install.

Went to buy sand at Brighton Wickes. Mike, the guy at the till, asked did I have a trade account. I said no, been trying for years but the system didn't seem to accept my application. Appalling service. The consultant took no interest whatsoever in helping me design let alone choose a kitchen. I was pretty much left to my own devices and told to go and look down an aisle that contained flat packed boxes and a few random samples. Asked relatively no questions , did the design when I asked him to and literally handed me a random quote and that was it. No follow up or close of sale. Complete waste of my time

We met with Sam Newnham out kitchen consultant who gave us a great design for a kitchen but unfortunately we had to change our plans due to building regulations and Sam was fantastic in redesigning our kitchen for us without any fuss. He has been very helpful and kept us updated about our process. I can not recommend Sam highly enough and he has gone above and beyond for my wife and I and deserves recognition. Many thanks Sam

My husband and I engaged Wickes to design and install a new kitchen and whilst I don’t have a bad word to say about the installer, we have been left with a totally unacceptable colour mismatch in a very visible area of the kitchen. Several emails and calls went ignored until I finally heard back from someone who said this had been escalated to the Complaints team. We have today heard back that they don’t intend to do anything further to assist with the problem. It’s hugely disappointing and frankly not what I expected given the price paid. I would urge potential customers to be very cautious about working with Wickes. I certainly would not use them again.

Really good experience with Sam at Hove - had prepped some ideas ahead, very easy going approach bringing experience but also listening to our ideas. My wife was worried we’d get a hard sell but it was v relaxed and easy going - more likely to get us to take things forward. Thanks Sam.
