Great shopping experience at Wickes Bristol, wasn't able to find what I was looking for. On asking a member of staff for help, I received excellent customer service from Nathen he showed me to the product and spoke with confidence about different types of drills and the drill that would better suited to use for my project

Had a kitchen designed by Richard Bounds, he was amazing at communicating all the steps in the process, and was quick at responding to my emails. The design was amazing and he was very knowledgeable about how to best utilise the space. The finished product is beautiful, and we can't wait to have the family over for christmas to show it off

The most stressful process I have ever gone through, phones never answered my husband spent 2hours trying to get through ended up driving to store . Cabinets in wrong colour promised to send correct colour nearly 2 weeks later again had to drive to store as phone did not answer. Called help centre gentleman was more concerned with my tone of voice then solving our problem, spoke over me . No contact on delivery day , tracking not working again helpline spoke over me told me to wait for a call . Just being polite direct and of course a little sympathetic (when your order is not correct) would be wonderful

Here's the 'Thing' Customer, you want a product but they don't have it at your nearest branch. They can't deliver it either from branches that do have it. You have to drive miles away to get the item . Wait, not so quick customer, it's too long to fit in your car and the other things are too heavy. What do you think the central Wickes customer service response is to this? 0.
Your local store can't order it in for you either. You may have to wait forever (unquote). Their customer response is? Yes , 0. Add it all up to 0. Shocking to think that Wickes can make life so difficult for the customer who really does want to buy their product. How does a company like this, last in business?
See the reply from Wickes!! 'Keep an eye on updated stock at my local Wickes'. Well, I did for many weeks and you still didn't do anything about it. Even though you had the product in a store 35 miles away. No, my local store couldn't get that for me neither would Wickes central customer services arrange to have it delivered. Exactly how long should a customer wait to finish their kitchen, accordingly to Wickes? See all the poor reviews.

CONS:
My Kitchen designer made several mistakes, the biggest being leaving me a panel and worktop short. There was zero aftercare, after my kitchen was purchased. Even when I tried to resolve issues instore, I was told that only my personal kitchen designer could rectify the problems. My kitchen designer seemed to be constantly on leave and the remaining kitchen design staff instore really couldn’t care less. I did ask to speak to a manager but not even ONE single manager was in store on a Saturday evening.
Even when my missing panel and worktop were due to be delivered, they didn’t turn up after I had waited home all day for them, and as the latest time for arrival was the Saturday evening by the time that had passed the the helplines had all closed. Nobody had called to inform me, update me, no apologies, no phone call just no delivery and a wasted day. This left me still having to pay a tradesman the following day, who was booked and coming to finish my kitchen the next morning once the missing items arrived.
After many phone calls, I found out that the excuse the delivery driver gave was that they could not find my address, which is quite frankly unbelievable. I finally managed to arrange the delivery again but obviously I had to wait yet again for the arrival and had to stay in in hopes of it actually arriving. Although it was delivered, the worktop had been damaged on the one corner that we were hoping to not have to cut and apply a lipping.
At this point I thought there was no point in complaining having been without a working kitchen for weeks and knowing that it would take at least another week to resolve yet again.
I still had a length of cornice left over? but even the cornice supplied was not the same as from the kitchen in the showroom that I wanted to emulate, and my kitchen designer did not say that he had changed this?
The extraction hood seem to struggle due to the distance from the hob and is very poor, but that is the way it was designed.
If my experience had been better, I would be spending a lot more money at Wickes as I still have the bathroom and many other rooms to renovate. After the appalling service I decided to purchase the kitchen tiles elsewhere.
Wickes Kitchens seem completely detached from the stores, and the Wickes customer care team can't access any information on kitchen side of the business. Therefore cam not rectify any issues once the kitchen section closes on evenings and weekends.
PROS:
On the plus side the instore advice team did seem to know what they doing, Ordered my outstanding items and reduced what would have been an even longer wait.
Conclusion:
Hopefully you will get a good kitchen designer and all of your kitchen will be delivered.
If not be prepared for lots of phone calls, stress and shrugs of shoulders but very little help or apologies.
As you can see below Wickes said they would investigate and get back to me.I am still awaiting a response.
If shopping for a kitchen, shop wisely.

1. The original sink waste pipe was removed, as it was no longer required. However the hole into the sewage downpipe was not capped but was left open. Raw sewage leaks from this hole and we have had to tape it up as a temporary measure.
2. The plumbing of the cold water supply developed a serious leak causing extensive damage to the downstairs ceiling and floor, which the builders had to fix.
3. The toilet fascia panel has not been fastened using the correct fittings (Keku Drop On/Hook On fittings or similar) but instead loosely forced onto screws that have been nailed through the MDF support on the carcass.
4. Floorboards were badly damaged and not replaced. I had to fit a replacement myself.
5. Plinths were not attached correctly but glued to the floor or wall.
6. The shower wall levels are uneven.
7. The shower wall joints are visible and unfilled.
The electric shaver point was initially not connected to the electrical circuit and the electrician had to be recalled.
8. A hole was smashed into the outside bathroom wall to accommodate a larger pipe and this was not filled in. I have had to mortar it myself.
The job took ages as materials arrived over a long period and the Wickes' preferred installers were often unavailable. It was extremely difficult to complain. When we did get through, Wickes then say it is not their responsibility as they have made you sign another contract with their preferred installers who are cowboys who do the least quality job possible. Wickes then offered a derisory and insulting £350 to cover the disaster and anxiety caused.
Do yourself a favour. Avoid these people.

I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to check things out very carefully before agreeing to instruct them. I was charged thousands of pounds to have a small ensuite refitted. I was made a lot of promises that were not met. It turns out the final product isn’t fit for purpose. I was advised by an independent bathroom fitter that the quality of products given the cost were inferior. I am now in a position where I will have to pay again to have things rectified.
