Wickes - Carlisle Reviews 

Neil at Wickes was so helpful and kind with his information and advice with regard to helping us get a plumbing problem sorted. We had to return a few times before it was solved but each time Neil helped us work through things with alternative ideas. We eventually got there!

Had an issue with parking. Heather the Manager was very helpful in resolving the matter quickly .
Very professional and a credit to wickes .

Electric mitre saw broke phoned and they swopped it no problem. Also I didn't ask but they then did some shed felt at a discount for the trouble. Much appreciated will definitely be back.

Expected a delivery which was unsuccessful due to me inputting my contact number incorrectly. Contacted the store , unbelievable service the manager personally delivered my items which I was desperately needing within the hour . You don’t get service like that very often !

Well what can I say , from our visit in Carlisle store & our design expert with Elliott was fantastic, from the order going in only took 2 week till our kitchen was started , and our fitter Billy was fantastic finished in a week & it's absolutely beautiful, can't be any happier, thanks Wicks , your customer service was fab too was on the phone right through the hole process , happy wife .

Recently visited Wickes in Carlisle regarding a new bathroom. Spoke with the designer Danny McBurnie. Danny came to the house, measured the bathroom, then provided me with a detailed 360 degree design view via email with a full cost breakdown of the items.
I subsequently ordered the stock and Danny couldn’t have been more helpful. I also made a couple of last minute changes which again were handled without issue.
Can’t praise them enough. No hard sell and very easy to deal with.

Got a bathroom fitted in January 2024 - I had to point out to him that there was a leak from the bathroom going into my kitchen from what he was doing and there were some minor aesthetic issues I had with it but the fitter was exactly approachable when it came to problems so I just let it go and now I'm left with gaps between the shower wall and built in shelving I'd asked to be removed (it's still there!) and also a gap in the wood covering the waste pipe which he said he'd box off with the remainder of the wall panels but he never. He also left me without a flushing toilet for nearly 2 weeks (cracked cistern; needed to order a new one) and asked me to lie to Wickes when then rang to check whether it was fitted yet so he could do a job elsewhere in the meantime. All my walls and ceiling were marked, garden ornaments destroyed by him walking on them or throwing stuff in the garden on them and there was no apology.

Now a year later after an issue with my boiler due to the cold - it transpired that the fitter from Wickes incorrectly fitted valves on my shower which now means I need to go through the inconvenience and upheaval of all my wall panels are to be ripped off, a new shower fitted and everything put back in again. If the job was done correctly in the first place there wouldn't be such an issue - I highly doubt they'll offer compensation for this either.

Absolutely no way would I ever recommend this company or use them and their cowboy fitters again.
