Wickes - East Grinstead Reviews 

We had a bespoke kitchen installed by Wickes last year. The product itself is good, however the after sales care is non existent. Its understandable that small issues arrive, this is the reason for the warranty. We have contacted the store, called the warranty number and sent numerous emails and web forms. We have been told we will be called back, during store visits and calls, and emails go simply unanswered. We have sent 5 chase emails now.

In short, I cannot recommend Wickes. The product is good, but you will have to fend for yourself once it is installed. There is zero after sales or warranty support.

Excellent service mixing the paints we wanted and Ian was very knowledgable answering all our questions.

Staff always helpful especially ian on the till, knows where everything is and what we would need, cheerful and fast.

Having used Wickes many times lately due to decorating a new home, I’ve always found the staff at East Grinstead nothing but helpful and friendly.

In particular to Ian who sorted a slight problem we had with a particular tin of paint and his general help and advice during other visits to the store.

Popped in on my way passed and it’s a lovely clean, well organised and well stocked store. Ian on the tills was super helpful and friendly

I visit daily as a local tradesperson and always a helpful, friendly atmosphere. Ian, who I see almost every morning is always smiling and chatty. Great service.

Top marks to Ryan.
We called on Wickes for a new kitchen. Ryan could not have been more helpful, he listened to our needs and offered his own ideas and expert knowledge. This wasn’t just a new kitchen but a total refit involving taking out doors and walls and fitting a new ceiling. Ryan teamed us up with a contractor who could undertake our demanding circumstances. Well done Ryan Moore, if you are in the East Grinstead area get down to Wickes and ask for Ryan – you won’t regret it.

We had a trip to the E Grinstead Wickes. My husband & I were walking in & my husband had the car keys dangling out of his back pocket. At the entrance to wicks are tall narrow pillars. The keys to the car & our house got caught on the pillar & to our horror dropped about 5 ft down the hole. It was the only pillar with an open top unfortunately all the others were closed. We could not believe how unlucky we were, it all happened so quickly!!!! We went into Wicks to ask for assistance & found Scotty. He was very helpful and got a piece of long thin wood with a nail on the bottom. After a few attempts, with a torch to see the bottom, he retrieved the keys. Well done Scotty and thanks for your assistance. Excellent customer service. Sally & Ian.
