Booked 2x for a home visit to measure for a new kitchen.

1st cancelled a few hours before, no explanation.

2nd cancelled day before, simply stating 1 hour was not long enough even though when book online you put in your address. Person did not seem bothered we changed Mother’s Day plans to fit appointment in. Will now not be purchasing new kitchen from Wikes!!!

Brilliant service, Paula could not have been more helpful and professional, suggested some great improvements, and ideas to what we thought was going to be our dream kitchen - so it was great to get the insider knowledge and professional tips. Wickes are reassuring throughout the whole procedure, nothing is too much trouble, and the product was demonstrated to us with a salesman jumping on the bottom of a drawer to show how strong the construction is. Easy design process.

Kieran could not have been more helpful, knowledgable and friendly. I used the store for a couple of weeks. Obviously the store is run very well! I met Bob the manager at one point too who was also there immediately to solve my problems.

Bob and Kieran have been exceptionally helpful giving materials to our primary school gardening project.
Kieran was so friendly and helpful, he also loaded my car up.

Big thank you Rik who helped us today. We amended an order for a door. He arranged a refund and advised us on replacement design. He even assisted us getting it into the car.

Myself and my friend Janet visited store today. We were helped by Bob and Jack who were both helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother and they answered all our questions. Jack even helped us with our purchases out to the van and loaded them into our van. Well deserved 5* review for friendliness and excellent customer service.

I just popped in at Wickes in Westfield Road and l requested assistance for the purchase of painting products. Great customer service and Sean was very nice to organise efficiently a delivery!

Andrew was extremely helpful this morning tracking down what we needed and helped us load. Keep up the good work and thank you again!

Wickes used to be uncompetitively priced and regularly not have the sightly unusual parts that every job needs occasionally. Both have improved, especially with the 10% trade discount. Particularly impressed with the quality and price of Wickes' pine FD30 fire doors (online only).

Friendly store, recommended.

I had difficulty finding a gate post to suit my purpose having ordered an incorrect size. 2 members of staff were extremely helpful, far beyond my experience in a more local hardware store. Shall have no hesitation returning to Wickes for any future hardware requirements.

The sales service was great. The price felt punchy given the quality but was happy to accept this on the basis that Wickes managed the removal/install process from start- finish. Installation however has been a nightmare. First installation company tried to over charge us by quite some margin (thankfully Wickes clocked this and terminated their contract). The second installer was meant to finish after 5 days. However in reality the installer achieved very little in the 5 days and then disappeared leaving us without a bathroom. Spoke to Wickes customer service multiple times (always someone different so no continuity) and while they agreed that we had not received the service that was expected they seemed unable to resolve the issue... The end result is that are still without our bathroom and still have no idea when this issue will be fixed. Wouldn’t recommend!!

Appointment was a bit chaotic due to a staff member being off sick, however when started was conducted by Paula, a very knowledgeable and capable professional. She tailored the kitchen design to my wife's requirements showing her in-depth knowledge of the produce line and options available. Overall a very good experience.

A shame i could only give 5 starts to Bob in Edinburgh gorgie. What a gent from the moment i entered the store to help me bring my stuff to the car. Very impressed with the way i got treated by the team at Wickes.

Well done Bob, never loose this human way of treat people well.

Monika knows. She perfectly understood what I was looking for and made interesting suggestions. Now, after seeing other two competitors, Monika’s design is the one that keeps me interested.

Outstanding service and big shout out to Connor, Jack and Rik (amazing guys from the Edinburgh store). I was purchasing wooden flooring at the Dumfries store and needed to source another 46 packs. Phoned the Edinburgh store and Connor was a star - he swiftly allocated the stock for me allowing me time to drive up from Dumfries. The guys so kindly moved the packs in my van. Tremendous service from both stores and that's why I always head to Wickes - real old fashioned customer service! Thanks!

We have made an appointment to discuss our new kitchen project. Monika was very friendly and professional. We were offered coffee and little colouring book to keep our kids busy while discussing kitchen renovations. Monika walked us through all styles on offer to help us pick one that would suit our dream kitchen best. I would definitely recommend for anyone considering installing new kitchen.

Fantastic customer service today, in the Murrayfield Edinburgh branch. I went to look for tiles I’d seen on line, I wasn’t familiar with the store, a member of staff immediately approached to ask if they could help and took me to the tiles, after a look around the shop, I was met by the same gentleman (Bob the manager) who asked if I’d found what I was looking for, I said that I had and was getting a trolley, he instantly found a member of staff to find one, lift the tiles, take me through the checkout and put them into my car, fantastic staff, all very friendly, great energy and attitude, not what you would expect in a DIY store? I work in sales and I greatly appreciated the friendly, helpful staff, I actually went back in and bought paint where I would normally go to another DIY store and use my trade card… 20 minutes in store and a great shopping experience, in fact I’ve never written a review for a shop before but I spoke with 4 members of staff and they were all helpful and friendly
