CHFT Charity would like to say a huge thank you to Wickes for their generous donation of compost to our local hospitals.

It's so great to see a local store supporting local charities in this way, we really appreciate all their support!

My kitchen is now being fitted and there was an issue with the hot water over night. Whilst it wasn’t an issue directly related to the kitchen fit, Neville came within 30 mins to sort it out. I am so glad that he’s a local fitter and the ability to problem solve was there. I hadn’t thought about needing someone local ‘just in case’ but having been in this situation I would recommend going with a local fitter to your Wickes location.

Don't waste ya money using a company that has no customer service or care. Ordered goods paid for delivery given a time of between 11 and 3pm . 3.30pm no delivery so I call them only to be told van breakdown gonna be slight delay DID NOT STATE GOODS WERE STILL THERE AND NOT BEEN PICKED UP. 4.10pm gets a text goods just been picked up and may arrive around 8pm. Now I'm a 60 year old bloke who's expected to shift around 200kg of soil in the pitch black off my drive so I can get my car out for a hosp app early the following day. I state how long does it take to get a refund and cancel order . Told can't cancel it's left depot . All it needed was a call much earlier today to explain and ask did I still want goods instead of me having to chase and get nowhere. Appalling appalling appalling update 8.05 pm still no delivery and there expecting a 60 year old bloke to shift 200 of topsoil bags in the pitch black pouring rain 200 yard to safety .

Vicki was super helpful and informative during my Wickes visit. And overall I had a really good experience at the Wickes at Halifax, I will definitely be back again!

Harry Fletcher was brilliant at designing our kitchen, helping us choose styles & making useful suggestions. The only reason I haven’t given the review 5 stars is that a piece was missing from the delivery. However, as soon as I contacted Harry he quickly sorted this for us and before he’d even confirmed he had sorted it, I’d received a delivery notice.
I definitely recommend Harry for helping with your Wickes kitchen purchase.

We recently had our Kitchen ordered from Harry at Wickes in Halifax.
Before we met Harry we went to Wren, Howdens, Benchmarx and also Independent Store, We had numerous designs and quotes, Wickes was our last appointment and to be honest i was'nt overly confident that we would be getting our Kitchen from Wickes.
Harry gave us our perfect Kitchen, he managed to get us everything we wanted. He was always available by email on phone.
He is extremely knowledgeable, polite and very Professional. We are now waiting for our Kitchen to be delivered and will be sending some pics to Harry once fitted.

Needed a kitchen. We went to Halifax store and Harry designed us a kitchen. What a star. I thought I knew what I wanted but after looking at the design Harry was absolutely right. He actually managed to save us a few quid too. He explained every question I had, even the stupid one's I asked. Harry was polite, professional and very helpful.
A far better experience than our visit to wren. You should be glad he works for you

Hi I went into wickes Halifax earlier today and I was very impressed with the service I received from jasim very helpful and and respectful employe thank you jasim

Purchased some items from Halifax wicks today , went to pay at the till , cashier acknowledged me said hello , however when I paid , said there’s the receipt, and walked away from the till , leaving me to remove the receipt from the till . All he had to do was pull the receipt out and say thank you , Customer service I don’t think so .

The guy we spoke to had no customer service it was a Sunday and clearly did not want to work. First thing he said was he was cold and had his coat on because it was so cold in his office he did not offer to for us to take a seat asked us what we were there for in a rude town weeks explained and gave him a measurements and layout took one look and said it wasn't possible to do what we wanted and that was it. She kept repeating. It was not possible. Did not offer any suggestions or help when we offered suggestions and said we were flexible in what we were wanting just said it wasn't possible. We even had to repeat things three times because he was just not listening to what we were saying we were not even there 10 minutes he just wanted to get rid of it as quickly as possible. Absolutely disgusted with the service we received we know the design is possible as we have had two different workmen out to look and they both agreed that we had more than enough room for what we were wanting. Do not waste your time with this company.

We are indebted to Wickes for providing 3 fire door closers under the Community Programme. Sowerby Bridge Fire and Water is refurbishing a complex of former public buildings; the fire station, swimming pool and council offices. The provision of these items will help us to complete two areas that will be occupied by tenants which will therefore generate income for the not for profit organisation.

Especial thanks go to Gemma Leeming for her tenacity in chasing two of the items as only one was held in stock in Halifax.

Made to feel very comfortable and dealt with by Harry very professionally. We had been to a few places before attending and our visit with Harry was by far the best. Explained everything well and went through all the different options for us

I got my kitchen designed by a lad named Harry. Lovely lad. Keen eye for detail. Very professional. Got the Ohio kitchen in Blue, it hasn't come yet so can't comment on that, but as a kitchen designer I would give top marks. I went in store to design and he came out to my house to measure everything just to make sure it would all fit. Shout out to Harry. Thanks again

I attended for a kitchen design appointment at Wickes with Harry Fletcher. I had an idea of what I wanted but Harry was knowledgeable about Wickes products and was able to guide me in understanding the design. He was friendly and made sure I understood how each item would look and fit. He showed me the designs in store and could not have been more helpful. He explained the pricing and charges for installation etc. Before leaving he arranged an appointment to phone me a few days later to ensure I was happy and to see if I had any further questions. Very impressed from start to finish

I made a special trip to this store this weekend as I needed a bathroom vanity top, this store was the nearest store with availability (just 1 in store) which we couldn’t locate so asked staff for help. They were extremely helpful, they needed to do some searching themselves and found it tucked away in the warehouse. They unpacked and fully checked the item to ensure it was good for us and what we wanted. Very helpful, kind and friendly. Obviously it isn’t our local store so won’t be revisiting but a great experience and well worth the trip 😃 Thank you to the staff at Wickes Halifax you were great 👍

I ordered a kitchen on Saturday with Harry Fletcher is was very friendly and knew everything about kitchens and helped me to decide what to go for. I changed my mind on worktops, he worked out pricing and wasn’t bothered that I changed my mind, very helpful young man

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – No Show and Poor Communication
I had an appointment scheduled with the kitchen designer, and I even received both an email and a message confirming that someone would attend. I drove over an hour to make sure I was there on time, only to find that no one showed up. There was no phone call, no update, and no explanation until after the fact.
This is absolutely disgraceful service — a complete waste of my time and effort. If this is how appointments are handled, I dread to think what the rest of the process would be like. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.
