Wickes stocks most items one might need for home and garden projects - reliable good value. Today I purchased a bag of gravel which I struggled with because of its weight. A helpful member of staff, Ciaran, courteously carried it to my car

I was served and helped out by ciaran on the till. An absolute pleasure to deal with this guy. Shame more people are not like this gentleman.

I was in the Letchworth store on Sunday and I was served by Ciaran, it’s nice to be greeted by a friendly smile and a genuinely helpful attitude. He gave me good advice on solar power for my home that I will follow up in 2026.

I’m only an occasional D-I-Yer so needed advice this morning when I visited Wickes in Letchworth. Aimee and I discussed my problem and she was so very helpful, looking at possibilities and guiding me to the right product. I bought that product, used it this afternoon, and am pleased with the result. Thank you, Aimee.

Went into Wickes for loads of paint. The staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to get us the right quantity and also mix more of the same colour too. JP was really kind and helped us so much. Such a lovely guy and very professional. Thanks JP for all your help.

Great staff always going above and beyond and making a DIY experience. JP supported me witg great customer experience and can’t thank him enough. Store has set very high standards in Letchworth and I never go anyone else. Store manager Jordan is very knowledgeable and always going the extra mile. Amazing store and staff!

From design to installation everything was amazing. Mark Hopkins listened to everything we wanted in our kitchen & included our ideas in the design. Hayley, our customer experience coordinator kept us fully informed about the whole process and when to expect deliveries. Our installer, Graham Wallace was fantastic. He was very knowledgable, skilled, dedicated & paid attention to detail.

Laura and Natalia helped me today in Letchworth and we're a huge help. They were very friendly and helped me sign up for a trade account in no time at all.

Even though there was a queue behind me, he remained patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout. He took the time to help me process my order and guided me through setting up a trade account step by step, making the whole process simple and stress-free.

I arrived in the shop and asked Ciaran, who was on the till, where my products were. Not only did he know which department, he knew where in the department they were. He was friendly and made the customers feel good. A great achievement at 7am on a rainy November morning.
