Carl Price really listened to our requirements, and tuned into our tastes. He was very knowledgeable in our free home visit and in-store appointment, and made sure we were given a pleasant, personal design service. The options available were great, and we’re looking forward to our new shower room being fitted.

MJ has been absolutely fantastic!
We spoke with five different bathroom specialists before finding MJ — and none of them came close. From the start, he really listened to what we wanted and made sure to stay within our budget. His attention to detail and genuine care set him apart.
I’ll admit, my bathroom measuring skills left a lot to be desired, but that wasn’t a problem for MJ. Just as he promised, he showed up the following week, tape measure in hand, to double-check everything himself. That level of professionalism gave us so much peace of mind.
His design skills are exceptional, and the final design truly brought our dream bathroom to life. It’s beautiful and exactly what we want! Roll on installation day.

When the time comes for a new kitchen, there’s no doubt — MJ will be our first call.

I don't usually bother to write a review, but have left this due to the second-to-none service provided by Rob Kilsby in respect to the design and customer service he provided throughout our kitchen purchase.

Nothing was too much trouble, and even after we signed on the dotted line he continued to be communicative, and showed a genuine interest in ensuring things went as smoothly as possible.

He's definitely a credit to Wickes.

I have just had a design visit with Rob for a new bathroom. He was very pleasant and designed my new bathroom bearing in mind my disabilities, I am very impressed and have placed my order. Thanks for your help Rob. I look forward to it being installed.

Went in to get some ceiling paint and didn't know where to start. Harry at Lincoln was very helpful, he had a look with me and made some recommendations. Had a really good experience, would come again!

The company has certain employees that need to be recognised for their ability to go that one step further in willing to help customers. I had such an experience this week in visiting your store in Lincoln, and I would like to put forward a member of their staff
called James for his ability to understand the problem I had and very quickly solved it.James should be given a promotion. Other members of staff just didn't want to know.

We called into Wicks in Lincoln on the off chance and Carl Price made us feel very welcome. He didn’t try to sell a kitchen to us just helped us design what we wanted and gave us an instant price. He let us change everything we wanted to get the price we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. We had been to two other kitchen places and we found them not flexible. Carl helped us no end right up until we booked and paid for the kitchen. No pressure no sales tricks just an honest man helping us out.

I needed a paint match and Harry was really helpful. The service was excellent.

My designer MJ was amazing. He came to my home and listen to what I wanted in my new kitchen making detailed notes and measurements.
I went for a follow up appointment in store to view the completed design which was stunning. We then toured the showroom in detail making sure every element of the final design would be just what I wanted. I only needed to make few minor changes as MJ's design was so incredible incorporating both style and functionality

Designer was really understand, came up with some amazing ideas, really helpful and improved the overall design.

I went today to buy some fence posts and had my son with me. A lovely chap called Harry helped us out and got all the stuff we needed and even put it in the car! Super lovely guy and great service from the moment we went in! The chap on the desk was also amazing!

We went to look at buying a kitchen and were met by Carl Price the Design Consultant at Wickes on Outer Circle Road in Lincoln. He was so friendly from the outset and nothing was too much. He listened to what we wanted and gave us ideas when we weren't sure or suggestions if he felt something may work better. What I was really impressed with about Carl was there was no hard sell and he literally let us swap and change about until we came up with the final design and there was no hurrying us up. On his home visit he again suggested a few ideas but accepted if we didn't like them but also gave us some ideas that we hadn't thought about. My son is autistic and Carl took the time to engage him in the whole design and planning, listened to my sons ideas so he felt a part of the whole thing and my son also conversed back with Carl which is really unusual. So far in the process I have been really pleased with the service we have received from Carl and look forward to him supporting us to the final fitting

Harry was extremely helpful today in store today and kindly helped me with my items to the car for me. Nothing was too much hard work for him and I was very grateful for his help!

While we are away on holiday in a few weeks time, we are having out kitchen floor titled. We went a few months ago to check out the tiles we decided on which ones we wanted and I took a photo and the details of the tiles required. On the 30 April 2025 we decided that we would go and order the tiles. We have dealt with the Duty Manager at Lincoln on several occasions called Steve and he has always been very helpful and efficient. On arriving in store we found Steve and he helped us complete the order order for the tiles. He also helped me fill out a form for community help. I paid for the tiles and arranged the delivery. It was n't until I checked the e mail order that I realised that I had ordered square tiles and not oblong tiles. On Thursday morning I rang Wickes in Lincoln and spoke to Ayesha. She said that Steve was helping a customer put something on top of his roof rack. Ayesha explained that I would have to ring the main customer services number and organise the refund through them. On completing the cancellation of the order it would then go back to the store for them to carry out the refund. I was on hold at customer services for 15 minutes, listened to 5 bursts of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. It was reassuring to hear "the dance" being interrupted by a friendly voice saying that the my call would soon be answered. The telephoned was answered by Genie. I gave her my order number and she eventually processed the refund. I then received an e mail from Georgina regarding the refund. Luckily I was expecting it and did not delete if as I was expecting an e mail from Genie! About an hour later Steve from the Wickes Lincoln Store telephoned and explained if we called into the store he would process the refund and I could then pay for the correct oblong tiles. We went to the Wickes store in Lincoln and saw Steve who resolved my mistake very quickly. He also pointed out who Ayesha was and wanted to mention her in the compliment too. I must say that all of the staff without exception have a very professional and efficient attitude to providing excellent customer service to us. Another lady we had met on a previous visit was a lady called Millie. I am very proud to use Wickes in Lincoln and know that no query is too small for them to deal with. All of the staff go above and beyond what is expected of them to provide excellent customer service. I'm looking forward to finding a new project in the home so I can go back to Wickes very soon and let the helpful staff give me some more welcome help and advice.
