Wickes - Long Eaton Reviews 

I have been in the store a couple of times and was helped on both occasions by Troy. He couldn't do enough to help and offered great advice. Will definitely be using the Long Eaton store again 😊.

The kitchen design done by James is very good, I recommend it, he can help and suggest which option will be the best.

I visited your long eaton store today to pick up some bits for replacing bathroom tiles. I asked a lady for help finding a product which she led me to and asked Troy if he'd help me get it in the car. Troy went above and beyond with his service, helping me locate the other things I needed, making suggestions for better alternatives and helped me put heavy items in the car. He was very knowledgeable and made my shopping experience much easier. I would recommend visiting this store if you are a novice DIYer like myself 🙂

I brought wrong blades for my reciprocating saw, spoke to Kevin in the Long Eaton branch who sorted the problem out for me. Thanks Kevin top marks.

We had a few issues with the website ordering process so we went to Long Eaton store
Desiree was really helpful and sorted it out really quickly and was very friendly and pleasant

Desiree and Troy were both amazing patience and helpful ensuring that I got right products that I needed. Both had lovely customer service skills and Troy even carried my purchases to the car. Many thanks.

We have had no problems with our bathroom, from design to installation. Neil came to our house, took measurements and too time to understand what we wanted. His design was perfect and the installation ent well.

Our bathroom was a complete rip out and re-install and took just under 3 weeks. The fitter Mark was friendly and helpful and ensured we had the bathroom we wanted, adapted as we went along on a couple of things.

Would just like to say a big thank you to Alison who helped us out with paints and narrowing it down to the ones we liked! She was very lovely, polite AND patient whilst we ummed and ah'd making our mind up. I know its almost a year later but I found the review card in an old purse and wanted to pass on our gratitude.

Although this is not my nearest Wickes, they had stock of the vanity unit I wanted, and it was worth the drive because this new store is very well layed out - and light and airy. Helpful and polite staff on the floor and great overseeing by DESIREE at the checkouts making sure customers were looked after, phones answered and other staff managed nicely.
Unfortunately my vanity unit was cracked on opening the box at home but the problem was dealt with and replacement pre checked and supplied.

We received very good service from Desiree. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she advised and mixed some paint for us, also found a couple of of nozzles in the stock room to fit our sealant tube that we needed. Very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant member of your team. Top Mark's Desiree.

Elaine was great! Although I fitted the criteria, I didn’t think I had all the prescribed proof with me to sign up for “Trade Pro.” Elaine looked at what I did have available, confirmed suitability and successfully signed me up saving me 10%. All whilst being polite, and down to earth….thank you!

We discussed our ideas for a new kitchen with Neill. He visited to take measurements of our room, produced a well thought out plan and was able to show some high quality views of the proposed result. His suggestions were very helpful.
He explained clearly how the finance agreement worked and set a date for installation.
This was done to a high standard by a company working for Wickes.
Having used the kitchen for a month, we are very pleased with result.
Highly recommended.

Just visited the store and spoke to 3 different members of staff and all were very helpful. Especially impressed by the gentleman at the till, Harindu, a very polite, courteous and helpful person. Seems a great asset to the store.

Fantastic service from Desiree. Although what I wanted was right in front of me Desiree was more than helpful shared a joke and took me straight to pay. Customer service you dont see very often but very much appreciated

Everyone at the Long Eaton Wickes are so friendly and helpful! One of the managers cleared their loading trolley to put my plasterboard on it when he saw me struggling, then there's Elaine who is always so cheerful and helps me with paint choices and went out of her way to help when I had a conundrum! She's brilliant! The younger boys and the blonde lady (need to ask their names and mention them) are also just super friendly and me and my partner genuinely enjoy going in. It makes such a difference to get good service from a store and this branch goes above and beyond!

Marcus on till today (sun 15th ) was very polite and apologetic as he was having trouble with a colleague discount card, he did ask for help on the headset but no one came but he managed to figure it out for himself as like I said no one bothered to help him, Marcus is a credit to the store 👍

A well stocked store, easy to find what we wanted.

A lady called Kirsty was really helpful, she was happy to take me to the items I needed a talked me through what I needed.

Well I have purchased decking boards and studding from wickes in long Eaton . Excellent service ,
staff and management go out of there way to help. Elaine and Anji were great,
and I recommend this store for anyone who is doing a trade job project etc .
Very competitive prices and the decking boards are the best quality I have used over the years . And the price is great.

Immensely helpful and friendly staff here. I went in asking for some advice this morning and the store manager, Chris gave me his time and expertise and assured me on a purchase he recommended when I nearly unnecessarily purchased something else.
