My go too place for all my needs. Jim in store is always helpful and friendly.

Our bathroom installation started in September 2024 and over ran by a week. We have been left with an incomplete, damaged and unusable bathroom.

The shower leaks, the tile backing board we paid for was not installed, the sink and cabinets were damaged, the cabinet doors don’t fit, the soil pipe was installed at an incline and the toilet is now blocked, fire safety covers from down lights were removed and insulation left on the exposed lights.

The installer appears to have been in liquidation when they took on this work and never returned to complete the remedial work.

The customer experience co-ordinator was of no helped and repeatedly called asking if we were happy with the installation seemingly unaware of the issues we had previously reported to them.

We raised a complaint with wicks in November who have assigned another installer to rectify the issues.
The installer has failed to contact us over the past 6 weeks and there appears to be no timeframe to resolve our complaint.

Came into store with my wife looking for shelf supports, Jim was great and quickly helped us find what we were looking for and even added a discount for us at the till. Great customer service 👍

The branch had everything I needed. Jim who served me at the till was very polite & friendly.

Hi still waiting for kitchen to be finished, most of it great but small details need to be completed, be aware you will have to clean up , so have a good hoover , and had to take off the protective covering on doors , really difficult, still on top of doors and on plymth boards , still waiting for someone to come out to change damage draw fronts, and put handles on glass cabinets, Helen Maidstone

Great service from Wickes Maidstone store where assistant Tracey made sure we had tiles delivered to Tonbidge even though it was not in their usual delivery area

Called in last week . I needed some advice on hollow wall fixings . Jim was extremely helpful and knowledgable showed me to the correct aisle and advised on what would might be best for my needs . All round a good and positive experience

Jim made the experience worth while. He knew his stuff about the paint that I needed and recommended the appropriate brushes to apply it. Very professional and a top man.

Great help from Jim at the till. Buying and returning stuff, all went smoothly out I was on my way quicker than I thought!!

Came into Wickes for some paint, was served by Jim, who was extremely helpful and great to get fantastic customer service

Lise has been exceptional in helping me redesign my bathrooms. Her service didn’t stop at just the cabinets she also helped upgrade the door handles and taps, choose tiles and paint.
I was extremely impressed and her friendliness really does make you feel at ease.

I use this store 5 days a week, mainly in the mornings, I’m a plasterer and my main materials are always in stock, the main morning staff are always friendly and pleasant, Kevin, Pete, Maria and Tracey. I will continue to use this wickes 👌🏻

I have been going to Wickes in Maidstone virtually since it opened there, well over 30 years ago. I have always found the staff, supportive and helpful which suggest there is a good traing structure within the group. A recent event reinforced thisview point. I was dealing with a blocked drain, with loads of hair causing the blockage. A leading staff member - Tracy Whom I have known for years came over took me straight to the part of the store which had the solution for my problem and Tracy advised me and made sure I knew how to use the chemicals.
I am 83 and gosh I was realy greatful. The culture at Wickes is brilliant.

Designing and building a new extension is very stressful but Siobhan in store helped to ease some of that stress, she made sure we had everything we wanted and we felt like she helped us to get the best for our budget. Thanks for your excellent service and we will certainly be back!

Got everything I went in for. Good amount of stock and Jim at checkout made it a great shopping experience.

She knew what I wanted and asked Kelly to get the items from out the back for me
I always try and chop in Wickes Maidstone as hey are polite friendly and efficient

We always use Wickes, it’s our go to for trade and diy. Tracy, Kevin, Marie/a are always willing to help. To be honest; we’ve got to know most of the staff as we’ve been coming here for years and they’re all very good. And, if we have a problem; (it’s rare) it’s sorted out promptly.
