Amazing Service from Laini!
Over the moon with our kitchen! From the first meeting with Laini, her design (just wow!) her knowledge and advice has been outstanding. Everything she advised and timelines were on point. She stayed in contact throughout, from the home visit to after everything was fitted. It was such a nice touch to have a call to make sure we were happy with our kitchen after it was all installed!! If you’re looking for a friendly, competent designer I highly recommend you go see Laini! Her price was competitive and she listened to what we wanted. 5 star service, thanks Laini & Wickes we love our kitchen.

When I'm designing a kitchen, I really need expert help! How do I make sense of all the options, and figure out WHAT I can fit in my kitchen, and HOW best to fit it in. At any given price level, there really isn't much difference between the products; it's all about who has the best customer service and expert design advice.
The designer I worked with at Wickes in Nowich, Sarah Cochius, was absolutely brilliant. She couldn't have been more helpful and friendly; she also came up with some brilliant ways of fitting things in to my very small kitchen that are going to make life so much easier for me. And then, to top it all off, she managed to cut my scheduled delivery time from almost two months to two weeks! I'm really pleased that after looking around, I chose to go with Wickes.

Wickes products are good however we were totally let down by the installation team and after care services. Once Wickes had sold me the bathroom I was no longer a customer, I was more of a pain in the neck when I asked for help. Internal communications were non existent between departments. A shocking and awful experience.

Everything started really well, design and choosing bathroom and kitchen equipment went well and the purchasing was very straightforward. We were happily anticipating a quick and efficient installation and went away excitedly dreaming of a sparkling new kitchen, utility, cloakroom and bathroom.
Unfortunately that is when the euphoria turned into a nightmare.
To cut a very long story short 9 weeks after delivery our house is still in chaos, it is damaged and not a single room is finished.
The worst part is that absolutely no one in Wickes has the faintest clue about what is happening to us, nobody in the store, who very enthusiastically took our order and money, knows what is going on and they do not have the power or authority to ask.
It seems that Wickes is totally devoid of any management and we have the sheer frustration of not being able to talk to somebody in authority who actually cares. It turns out that their fitters are all subcontracted and Wickes have no control over their timetables.
I could go on, but, suffice to repeat that what should have been a “2/3 week job” is now in week 9 and as of yesterday no end is in sight.
I am sure there are better kitchen suppliers and please do not expose yourselves to this truly awful, uncaring company.

Please don’t go through the nightmare we are experiencing, nobody rings you back, nobody knows what is going on, nobody communicates with each other. We feel we have gone from being customers to an inconvenience to their rules, systems and procedures. In week 9 now since our bathroom and kitchen deliveries and we are “camping” in our own house. Rang the manager of Wickes Norwich yesterday he said he would ring me back, he didn’t. They said they would contact the installation manager who I believe is a figment of somebody’s imagination because if he really was a manager he would be managing the disaster that is our installation. Please avoid and don’t go through the pain we are going through

I have recently used the bathroom design service. There was no site visit. We were sent 3 times the trim we needed, two mixer taps, with one outer body which would not fit in the available space all the tune of £711. They did refund this. Also a lot of items we did need were not included, so I spent a full day with a fitter at huge expense sourcing these. The bathroom designer did not seem to know her stuff. Also she tried to sell me a designer radiator at a cost of over £500 when I clearly stated we were putting underfloor heating. In all a very bad service. Also I wished to pay a deposit on order & the balance on delivery. Not possible! A 3rd party finance firm became involved. Are wickes paid a fee for introductions? No apology was offered. A bad score for the Norwich store

This was the second time I've had a delivery from Wickes, and the second time I've been disappointed.
The first time was a very disappointing with some poor quality wood, but it was during Lockdown and was unable to pursue it.
This time I spent over £300 in two transactions, taking some goods with me in the car and having the rest delivered. When it arrived one piece of wood looks like its been burnt at one end. I also ordered 4 x 75mm post supports which on arrival were a different and inferior specification to what I was expecting. Being faced with a 30 mile round trip to complain and change them I decided that I just can't be bothered.
THEN, to put the icing on the cake, today I find I've got a £100 fine for being in the car park too long.
I think I'll go to B&Q next time and hire a van.

I am very happy and satisfied with the outcome and will not be afraid of being a customer of Wickes again - though I will be more aware of the 90 minute parking limit in the future - thank you A.M.

Sarah Cochius from the Norwich branch of Wickes came to my home to measure up and design my new kitchen. After chatting with me about how I use the kitchen, she came up with a lovely design, which opened up the kitchen and made it look much more spacious. There was no pressure from her. She was always available when I had questions and made useful suggestions for matching colours to finish off the kitchen. A few months later, I have a beautifully designed kitchen that looks great and works perfectly for my needs. Loads of storage and great quality. I would certainly recommend Sarah and Wickes timber kitchens, based on my experience.

Lois made us feel very comfortable from start to finish. She listened to what we wanted and explained options. What I liked the most was if Lois didn’t think something worked or went well she would offer suggestions and options. This is what you need when spending a lot of money out on a purchase. There was also never any pressure to purchase. Lois is an asset to wicks!
