Needed a specific range of units. Visited Norwich store for booked consultation in the evening. The assistant was friendly and helpful. Listened to our requirement and did not push other ideas. We were very happy with the information and service and purchased the units on the spot. Perfect customer servce.

We wanted to update our small bathroom, we had an idea of what we wanted and having looked at other suppliers, called into the Norwich branch to see some actual bathroom displays. Lois Hall asked if we needed any advice, she offered a consultation and design appointment based on the measurements we provided, which we booked. Armed with a simulation photo of the new bathroom and detailed parts and prices list, we discussed the design with our local builder. 2 days later we returned to pay for the accessories we wanted and importantly, agreed to defer the order delivery until our builder is available to fit it. We didn't fancy storing the units at home, where they could potentially be in the way and get damaged. We have up to a year to request delivery, but the goods are paid for, so there's no future price increase to worry about. Overall we've had a fantastic service, thank you team Norwich Wickes

Lois was brilliant she visited our home asked lots of questions and has come back with a beautiful design for our kitchen so glad we had her as our consultant. She listened and came back very quickly with outstanding results! She gave so many ideas that I wouldn’t of had the ideas to do can’t wait to see it when it’s finished

We used the Wicks kitchen design service, with Laini as our designer, and we were very happy with the bathroom design.
Laini deserves a special mention—she was patient, charming, and had a very positive influence on the final design.

Will never use Wickes again. With a thousand plus still to spend their loss. Refused to exchange unopened Dulux paint (picked up wrong colour in error, but only just spotted - have receipt, older than a month) for the colour I wanted. No goodwill, nasty shop.
At end August I bought £206 worth of Dulux paint from the Norwich branch (I have the receipts). A few days ago I discovered I'd picked up one can of the wrong colour inadvertently. I asked the manager if as a gesture of New Year goodwill I could swap my unopened White Cotton for Timeless, showing my receipts. The answer (from behind his office) was a firm no, sell it on a marketplace site. I got the same answer from Brentwood Essex branch today (3/1/26). Clearly Wickes managers have no room for manoeuvre or discretion.

Please do not buy a kitchen from Wickes it’s a very very long story and I can not be bothered to go into this fully but in short I ordered my kitchen the first week in September and I am still waiting for the replacements for many damaged parts yet another delivery today expecting 5 items and I got one! Just rang wickes customer services number agaaaain and apparently the items weren’t scanned by DHL so they don’t know where they are so they have been re-ordered yet again. I can’t believe I ordered a kitchen the beginning of September and I’m not gonna be able to finish it until after Christmas!!!! What a joke please get an account and go to Howdens for a kitchen as you will get your kitchen in less than a week and any parts or damages will be supplied or replaced immediately and the doors will be colour matched on reverse which Wickes are not.
Do NOT buy a kitchen from Wickes.
Update, 3/12/25 I wish I could add pictures on here, just received another attempted part delivery and it was totally smashed!!!
I suggest if you want a kitchen from Wickes for Xmas order in January and you might be lucky.
Another update had another delivery expecting the replacements for 1 drawer and a pair of pan drawer fronts but I only received the pan drawer fronts and yet again both were damaged!!!!!!! This is a joke, just to recap I ordered my kitchen the first week in September and I am still waiting to complete my kitchen and I have huge pile of damaged doors and drawers now to get rid of.
This is now beyond a joke and I’m fuming, I’ve had to be here so many times to take delivery of my kitchen and all I’m getting is rubbish to dump !!😡

My design consultant arrived promptly, she was very friendly and professional in her approach. I explained my ideas and thoughts regarding the design for my new bathroom and was expertly guided through from start to finish. I was thrilled with the outcome, all my ideas were honed and doable, even though I fully expected them to be a bit beyond reach.

My wife and I visited the Norwich store at the weekend and discussed an upcoming decoration/renovation project for our dining room. Jon gave extremely good advice regarding best products and how to use them to our best advantage, based on his own experience in that trade previously.

We visited Wickes in Norwich, and we were met by Katharine Waddington who showed us around their range of kitchens. She was so friendly from the start, her knowledge about the kitchens & design really showed & we decided on the Sage Heritage kitchen. She came to our house to measure everything up & came up with the idea to box in the washer and drier which we are so glad we did. I had to contact Katharine and their customer service a couple of times during the installation, and they were very helpful and sorted my issues straight away. We are over the moon with our new kitchen and utility room, it looks great, the quality is exceptional & everyone who has seen it loves it!!
Thanks to Katharine and the team for such excellent service.

In 2019 we decided for the first time in 50 years of marriage to get ‘professionals’ in to refurbish our small 6’ by 6’ bathroom.
We chose Wickes after much research and discussion and were initially pleased with our purchase of several thousands of pounds.
I replaced a picture window with something smaller and completed all of the wall and floor tiling.
Within three years our troubles began with chrome lifting from the bath taps, failure of the toilet cistern and a shower unit that seized making it impossible to turn the taps which were designed smooth and round with no grip for wet hands.
Replacements of taps and cistern were eventually sent after much discussion with Wickes Customer Services and they finally sent a fitter to replace the shower unit which believe it or not he bought from B&Q !!
That’s the history of Wickes product failures but ongoing and parallel to all of this was the fact that RUST was appearing on the edge of our enamelled cast iron bath.
In 2023 I sent Wickes pictures of two very small rust spots and some brown marks which were obviously rust progression in the making
The response I got from Wickes was that this was my fault due to IMPACT DAMAGE, this being the conclusion when Wickes sent my pictures to the people who made and supplied the bath in the first place.
What else would they say as it was not very likely that they’d admit to their own product failure?
I assured all concerned that nothing ever went into our bathroom apart from us humans and were 100% certain that we had not hammered the edge of the bath to cause enamel chips
THIS WAS RUST
Now 18 months on the rust has progressed to a length of about NINE INCHES and is most unsightly for us and any guests using our facilities.
The latest response from Wickes continues to blame us for the initial impact damage which has allowed damp to creep along and cause further damage
I have yet to send Wickes photos of the four cabinet handles also suffering ugly looking rust damage, this mainly due to the exhaustion of our long term complaining.
Our bathroom has an effective extractor fan but I do realise that this is the one room that constantly suffers steam and high humidity.
However, there is nothing unusual about our bathroom
The products fitted were not fit for purpose and as now 74 year olds we thought we were purchasing our final bathroom but now seriously have to think about a replacement after six years.
Not good Wickes

We couldn’t be happier with the work done by our designer ( Laini) on our bathroom and kitchen. From the very beginning, she listened carefully to our ideas and needs, then transformed them into a design that was both stylish and practical. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the result is a space that feels modern, functional, and truly ours.
Her professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable.
We highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a designer who combines talent, vision, and dedication to creating beautiful spaces.

JON ... A massive THANK YOU to Jon at Sweet Briar Road, Norwich. He was a massive help to my attempting my DIY project. He was polite, attentative and extremely courteous. Thank you Jon for your help. I did as you said; the glue you recommended was perfect and to my DIY amazement, my chairs no longer wobble when seated on. BRILLIANT! Thank you 😃

Kathy from Wickes Norwich has helped me with a new kitchen and bathroom - Kathy has gone above and beyond to talk things through, to listen to my ideas and answer all of my questions. Kathy has taken the time to get to know me and what I need from my home and is such a kind person who has made something that could be quite stressful an enjoyable experience. Thank you Kathy, I couldn’t recommend you and Wickes more highly!

Waited in for a hour and the design consultant did not turn up and no one phoned to explain. I tried calling customer services during the listed opening times and got a recorded message that the line was not manned at that time. Terrible service.

Had a new bathroom fitted in February but on completion there was a pipe feeding the toilet running along the bathroom floor. Repeated requests to remedy this was ignored by the installer. It was referred to Wickes customer care to but I am still waiting 6 months later.

Wicked is a great DIY store.
The kitchen design person was fantastic and so helpful and knowable.
He made us drinks also.
The kitchen quality was fine, as we have a very tight budget.
We made this very clear we were there to buy a kitchen not a dream.
But we personally thought the quality of the kitchen from another store was slightly better than Wickes and it was less money.
So we bought elsewhere.
