Mike was incredibly helpful and generous, and we were very grateful to receive donations of Anthracite Masonry paint for our community project.

It’s fantastic to see a large retailer giving back to local community organisations in such a practical and meaningful way. The donation will make a real difference to our hub and the people who use it.

Hi again another visit to Wickes of Rutland Road at 2.45 today .

To sort a delivery that has not arrived the manager who was very helpful I’m so sorry I forgot your name and managed to sort the problem for me which I was extremely grateful.

I also saw Lindsey who i have met in store a few times now and Lindsey managed to find a colour that I have been looking for over three weeks now and I have now found the exact colour I needed for my bedroom.

I would highly recommend this store to get some if your products. Suzanne

I recently contacted Michael at my local Wickes store and explained I was a childminder and that the children are currently building on their understanding of the natural world through planting and hands-on gardening activities. I asked if they had any possible donations for my setting and they donated me several items which included compost and small plant pots.

The manager was so helpful and also entered me into a competition to win a sand pit and I won! I can't believe it! The children absolutely love it! Thank you so much Michael!

From the beginning all the staff at Sheffield North have made the process of updating my kitchen very easy and stress free. The designer, Sandy Bowes, visited my home to measure up and ask me about what I wanted in my new kitchen and then went through the design back in the store. I was so impressed with the design that we booked to have the work done straight away. The fitter (Andy Wright) contacted me to arrange to come to the house and make sure that all the measurements were accurate and that the order covered everything we needed. It was very reassuring to know that the fitter could check all the details before starting the job. Andy dealt with all the other trades (electrician, gas fitter, plasterer) so I didn't have to worry about anything at all while the work was in progress. He always made sure he left me with working taps and drainage at the end of the day even when the kitchen had been stripped back to bricks. His attention to detail and quality of his work were of the highest standard. My cramped old kitchen has now been transformed to a modern, spacious and calm space to cook in. I love it :-) Many thanks to Sandy Bowes at Sheffield North and Andy Wright Installations.

At Wickes Sheffield North. Collect order was damaged, but sorted in advance and to satisfaction. Got a parking fine for overstay, but this was sorted efficiently within days. Can't praise staff and store manager Lindsay highly enough. My go to store for click and collect as well as extensive in shop range. Helpful staff all round.

We are so grateful to Wickes for donating wood and tools to our scout group
They have enabled young people in Sheffield to develop skills for life!

Went to the home improvement event and a goody bag and the cakes were fantastic.

We bought a kitchen and bathroom for our house from Sandy. She was very helpful and helped us design both of them. We had our own joiner and plumbers fit them and it was a straightforward task for the tradesmen. We had a slight problem with one of the items and it was sorted out without fuss. All in all a very easy way to have an old house updated.

Amber provided excellent customer service. She was friendly, attentive, and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. Her positive attitude and genuine willingness to help really stood out. Great experience overall!

I contacted Wickes to access the community project donation for a primary school in Sheffield. I immediately heard back from Mike R and he was extremely helpful.

Attended Sheffield North store today -12 January and spoke to Mike. Outlined a problem re parking at the store. Mike immediately informed me that the problem would be fixed and there was no need to worry. The experience clearly showed that Mike was customer orientated and after taking my details he stated he would e mail me later in the day with result. Mike was professional- friendly- and is a credit to Wickes. Definitely a ten out of 10. Many thanks ks

This review is for the Sheffield Rutland Rd store...
I have no problem with the store itself but they really need to sort out their disabled parking bays. The markings have very nearly disappeared so anyone and everyone is using them especially tradespeople with their big flatbed vans. I've pointed it out to staff so many times and nothing gets done. If you're not going to monitor the misuse of the bays and in turn discourage disabled customers there's no point having them.
If you're keeping them can you please repaint them to give us a fighting chance of being able to shop there?

We needed to replace a hinge for our kitchen cupboard but really struggled to find the correct one. Mike, the operations manager at the Sheffield North branch of Wickes was so helpful and, despite it being several years since we purchased our kitchen from Wickes, did everything he could to make sure he identified the hinge we needed and then arranged for it to be delivered to us. Very happy to have been able to replace the hinge on what we consider to be a great kitchen. Great customer service, thank you Mike.
