I visited the store on 27 January for some information on flooring. Shelley was very helpful, informative, and friendly. Will be visiting the store again.
I even had help loading the car from a lovely lad but didn't catch his name.

Served by Shelley, fantastic service with a smile. Extremely helpful with what I needed and helped me find exactly what I needed and gave me great information. Went this evening and she was brilliant

I went to buy Dulux paint. I wanted the bathroom paint in white and pretty pink. They didn’t have pretty pink so they said they could mix it for me. I asked as it is part of the colour range for the bathroom paint if I could bring it back and the assistant said yes. But after they had done the paint I said again about being able to bring it back and another assistant said no you can’t. Obviously I wasn’t happy and then spoke to I presume the manager who said yes that was the policy, that is you can’t bring it back even though it is advertised as a colour that is part of the bathroom range. I said well I might as well and go buy it from somewhere that has it pre mixed so I can take it back if it is not needed. The manager said just take one then and come back and get the other one if you need it.
There had obviously been a miscommunication and I thought that was a very reasonable solution to the problem and I thanked the manager.
However if, because it has been mixed in store and not pre mixed by Dulux , does that mean the colour will not necessarily be the same? I think you should take it up with Dulux because if the colour that has been advertised is not available the option of mixing it should not be offered if you can’t bring it back and also puts a doubt in my mind about whether it’s going to be the same colour as advertised.
Also this paint is £35 for 2.5 litres so obviously I don’t want to be stuck with a tin I don’t need.
I don’t think it looks like Dulux is backing the colours mixed in the store. Or if it simply to do with the labelling then Dulux should provide the appropriate tins for colours from the ranges they offer so they can go back on the shelf. There were other pre mixed tins on the shelf just not the colour I wanted even though it is part of the bathroom range.
So not happy with Dulux but happy with Wickes.

I was planning a big repair work in my bathroom and was looking for many necessary instruments and materials (wall and floor tiles, plasterboards, primers, adhesives, suitable tools for this kind of work, etc) at Wickers, which is located on 1Ash Tree Rd, Birmingham.
B30 2BJ. I wanted to buy the most of the necessary stuff in one shop and I wrongly chose this Wickes. Why wrongly? Because working on my long list of necessary goods, which I was going to buy at Wickes, I exceeded the parking time on 13 minutes what resulted in £100 punishment.
Needless to say that I will not go to this shop any more.

The person who first came out to measure was the designer, Julie Lovell. She listened to what we wanted and sent us two designs on what she thought we would like. With just had a few tweaks and we had our new kitchen.
