Popped into Wickes Swansea thinking choosing skirting boards would be easy… turns out there are more varieties than ice cream flavours. Thankfully, Betty came to the rescue like a DIY superhero in a hi-vis vest!

She patiently helped me navigate the mysterious world of ogee, torus, and bullnose until we found the one. Honestly, she deserves a medal for her patience and a TV show for her knowledge.

Left the store feeling like a skirting board connoisseur instead of a confused bloke holding a tape measure. Thanks, Betty — Wickes Swansea wouldn’t be the same without you!

We came in store today looking for some kitchen cabinet units. Sean was so helpful! He really went out of his way to answer all of our questions and help us get the units we needed. Amazing service, thank you very much!

after having a bad experience in another place I went to wickes to find a kitchen which I fell in love with the chester forest green kitchen, after speaking to Anna in the Swansea cwmdu store she came out same day planned the kitchen next day and I absolutely loved it, she listened to everything I wanted advised me on every single thing and the final plan was absolutely amazing, I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure i was happy … she’s very professional and knows what she’s doing going through every single detail, showing me samples and advising what goes with what if I could give her 100 starts I would, so thank you very much for designing my dream kitchen at such an amazing price with the wickes deals at the moment I couldn’t be happier

Bought a load of wood and timber over the summer. Wickes has everything I need and competitively priced. Junes delivered for me the last few times. He's aways kept me up to date with delivery times, always on time, and always friendly. Delivery costs are excellent and I've never not been able to get a date of my choice.

Ania in the Swansea store was very creative and made beautiful designs of my kitchen, bathroom and wet room. She was able to contact when needed and always tried her best to help.

What can i say other than Mateo deserves a medal! An absolutely amazing guy,He helped design my kitchen and bathroom and somehow stayed calm and patient while I changed my mind on colours… five times! At first, I thought he looked a bit scary (sorry, Mateo!😂), but he turned out to be the nicest, most helpful person ever. He made the whole process easy, fun, and completely stress-free and listened to what I wanted . If you need someone who can turn your dream ideas into reality without losing their sanity, Mateo’s your guy !, Thank you so much Mateo for everything 😊

Mateo was very efficient from his first visit to the house to his session when he shared the design and the changes when we made.

As a trustee of a PTA group I approached Wickes, Swansea for some tools to help the children maintain their gardens and for some play sand for the younger children to play with. James at the store was super helpful and provided all items we requested. Thank you Wickes for these items - the children will be delighted when they return in September!

1. Ordered and paid deposit February 4th.
2. Delivered May15th.
3. Installation day May 19th. Installer never arrived.Numerous calls to WICKES, no help.
4. They then suggested they come and pick up the kitchen and return it to the Depot for redelivery in 3 to 4 weeks.
5. We suggested that we could get our own fitter to Scott and Chris.
6. New fitter started job on Monday June 2nd. Found 500 larder unit on plan was actually 600, and 2 were delivered. The 600 unit would not fit. Phoned June 3rd (Ryan) to ask if the unit could be cut down to 500. He said he would have to ask his manager. No reply.
2 new doors were ordered for 500 unit, arrived but did not fit. New one ordered still waiting..
7. June 5th, had phone call from Swansea depot to discuss the situation, they gave permission to cut larder unit to 500. Went to fit decor panel, green not grey.
8. Back panel on 900 floor unit cracked.
9. Door missing from 900 wall unit. Replacement ordered delivered damaged, replacement ordered again delivered damaged. Replacement ordered July 9th, still waiting.
10. Wrong sink unit ordered, had to return it and had to purchase correct one from other supplier.
11. Had to purchase a new ceramic hob due to the worktop being thinner, surely this should have been noticed by Designer.
The only help we have had is from Katie who took over the order as original Designer was on holiday.
Been down to WICKES today and asked to speak to the manager, he was on a video call and would phone back when he had finished. That was 4 hours ago and no call.
I have numerous boxes in my garage waiting for WICKES to pick them up(wrong delivery).
I just want to have my kitchen finished and get back to normal.
Been a nightmare from start to finish
