Went to Wickes. A tradesman on a budget. The staff couldn't have bern more helpful, assisting me with registering for their trade discount scheme. Saved 10% straight away. Excellent customer service from Melinda and Evie. (May be Wickes first, before other trade suppliers when on the road)

Visited Wickes in Swindon and Tony was very helpful and friendly, found what I needed and even offered some good advise.

Evie in the Swindon branch was very helpful. Guided me through the process of joining your club very well - 5 stars!

The staff are always so helpful here. Tony was an example of that on my last visit where he was very patient and went the extra mile to figure out what the best product was when my initial choice was not available. Thanks , Tony!

We decided to go with Wickes for the supply of our new kitchen for our extension.
The design visit was good and the design provided was just what we wanted and were very happy with it.
Unfortunately this is where the positives end.
First issue being we were advised by the kitchen designer that the kitchen should be available within a few weeks. This was not the case we ended up waiting months before it could be delivered which set the project back.
It was finally delivered and quickly discovered a major problem, during the design consultation I said we had quotes from Wren and Howdens for a solid frame kitchen and that we would compare quotes. We were told that the Wickes cabinets were also solid frame but were better quality etc. We ended up choosing Wickes partly for this reason. On delivery it was immediately apparent that the cabinets were flat pack not solid frame as we were told.
This obviously cost me more money in my time taken off work and the time for the builder who assisted me in the fitting of the kitchen. Wickes have refused any sort of compensation for this.
The next issue quickly became apparent, the corner wall unit was damaged and we couldn't fit it. Contacted customer service and was told that I couldn't get a replacement for a week. This stopped the fitting of the kitchen for a week, again costing me time off work and the cost of the builder who couldn't progress the job. Again Wickes have refused any sort of compensation.
We also discovered they added the incorrect decorative panels to the order even though we had the discussion in store as to the ones we want. 3 months have gone by and they still haven't sorted out sending the correct panels.
After the kitchen was fitted the plumber went to fit the Insinkerator and found the sink provided had 62mm waste outlet, this is not a standard size for a kitchen sink and the Insinkerator wouldn't fit.
As my partner was due to give birth we fitted the sink without the insinkerator so we could have running water in the kitchen. Wickes are still refusing to give a refund on this item and have said I'll have to buy a sink that will fit it myself. They've offered to pick the sink up from my property despite me telling them multiple times that we are having to use the sink so that we have a useable kitchen so they can't just come and take it away without first refunding and sorting out the replacement.
We'd already had the worktops cut to fit this sink and as such I'm having to shop around to try and find one that will fit the radius cut into the worktop.
I raised a complaint at the start of June and not one of my complaints has been resolved yet.
Leaving a review here on a public forum in the hopes they decide to actually do something about it.

We went into Wickes knowing what we wanted, we had chosen the style and colour, put it all together in our heads. Then we met Millie! Milly was brilliant 👏 She came for a home visit, measured up, chatted through what we wanted, made helpful suggestions and then arranged for us to go into the store to see it all put together on screen.
We changed cupboard colours and worktops midway as I had found different tiles, and Millie put it altogether again with a smile 🙂
Then we had to put it all on hold due to ill health. Nine months later we were ready and she pulled out all the stops to get it done for us. She is a very kind, patient young lady, thoughtful and considerate throughout the whole procedure.
Matt was our kitchen fitter, he is marvellous. He made a fantastic job of fitting our new kitchen into our quirky, wonky old cottage! We are thrilled to bits with the whole process, top marks to the Wickes Team 👏

Highworth Community Cider applied for the £100 community fund. We are a Non-for-profit little community group collecting local apples to make cider so we can sell and donate the profits to local causes and charities. We applied for guttering to put on the building where we make cider. The process was straightforward and we were successful in our bid. The community coordinator champion, Millie, has been really helpful and supportive and we really appreciate that big companies like Wickes support little community groups like us

I went into Wickes Swindon with absolutely zero knowledge of paint, colour blind and basically no idea what I needed. Tony took control, chose the right paint, worked out the colours and then proceeded to add every roller, brush and consumable apparently known to mankind.
15 minutes later I was £600 lighter.
Excellent knowledge, straight to the point, genuinely helpful and somehow managed to make choosing paint simple even for someone who can't see half the colours properly.
The shareholders and board at Wickes should seriously consider giving Tony a pay rise. Anyone who can turn my complete lack of paint knowledge into a £600 sale in 15 minutes is clearly doing something right.

Melinda! And manager Sara. Between them they were both always keen to help and most importantly were patient, in spite of being busy and in the face of my plodding enquiries.
I've recently put up fences and am building a deck so I've made many trips. Melinda is omnipresent and always smiling and willing. And Sara has always been on hand, especially for home deliveries and technical queries.

Thank you ladies. You are each an asset and a credit to Wickes.
