Lovely company
Just received my second parcel from Wicks & Reeds. What a lovely company to deal with with a nice personal message after you order. Quick to deliver and well packaged. I am so happy with my products. I got some lovely wax melts and some compostable soy tea light candles which I am really pleased with. They are not easy to find on line but there are some really nice products available on this site. Highly recommend this company. I know I will be a returning customer!

Wicks and Reeds were a really lovely small company to deal with. They had some issues over the black friday weekend involving slight delays on their deliveries, which seemed out of their control and when we got in touch to check on the order they sent out a replacement with no questions asked! The original order turned up at the same time as the replacement (having been delayed in the Xmas post) and they let us keep them both! Very friendly team to communicate with and the products themselves smell great and are planet friendly too!

Wish I could rate nil! Please do not use this company under any circumstances. Made an order at the beginning of December. Not arrived. The owner will lie to you on the phone and blame Royal Mail. Not true. Have had to buy elsewhere for presents had paid for with this company and revived goods next day. They are charlatans!
Really dissapointing customer service
Really dissapointing customer service! Item ordered on 28th November and after being advised 3-7 working days for delivery I awaited delivery. Nothing arrived so I sent a message which didnt get replied to! Once I opened a case with Etsy I was advised by the seller it will be sent by 48hr track and trace, 2 days later and still not dispached. After a further message from Etsy to the seller they finally sent the item by 24hr track and trace. The items arrived on 22/12!!!
Read the reviews and the generic copy and paste responses from the shop if they can be bothered and you will see that this seller doesn't care about customer service 1 bit.
Shame really as the actual product is nice, just find someone else who sells them is my advice.

Many small businesses in the time and all had no trouble getting orders to me. Maybe you shouldn’t take so much on if you can’t keep up! I have asked for a refund now and still no reply! Very poor. I know time are hard but come on, this is a joke!!!!!
I originally placed my order with wicks…
I originally placed my order with wicks and reeds on the 10th December, their website stated Christmas delivery was guaranteed for orders received by the 14th December.
Unfortunately I only received part of my order and emailed them to enquire where the balance of my order was. I had a reply saying the outstanding items had already been dispatched.
On the 22nd of December I emailed again saying I hadn’t received the outstanding items. They didn’t even reply to my email or offer any explanation.
Good companies are measured upon how they deal with issues when things go wrong, just ignoring your customers is certainly not the right approach.
Shame on you wicks and reeds, absolutely terrible customer service.
Terrible company
Ordered 3 weeks ago. Received 2 items separately and then an email asking to confirm my address. Queries where the rest of my order was and just received a blanket response that they are responding to everyone with. Royal Mail was not so delayed 3 weeks ago. There is no excuse for not sending out items paid for. Will be requesting a refund as the order has become pointless now.

Slow delivery, poor communication, poorly packaged
Payment taken on 2nd December but nothing received, no communication until 16 December. I appreciate that they are a new business and very busy, covid etc but after placing an order I received nothing except generic emails for over two weeks. As they said they would contact me when the order had been dispatched, I emailed after five days to find out when I could expect it to be sent, but no answer on where my order is or when it will arrive. They don't answer the phone either. I was hoping to send some of the candles as gifts to Spain but missed delivery days so had to order alternative gifts at additional expense.
EDIT: I actually got a response from them on Facebook chat to say that products should be delivered today, two weeks after order. I will update when products are received.
EDIT: One of the 7 items I ordered arrived on 16th Dec after being delivered to another house on my street. Lovely gift set but it was inadequately packaged and the box had been smashed to pieces and the gift box inside damaged. Sigh.
EDIT: 24th December, no sign of 6 out of the 7 items I ordered and I'm being ignored on email, telephone and Facebook chat.
EDIT: After various emails and social media messages, I finally received a personal call on 5 January from Abbi who was very nice and issued a refund for the products that I had not received. She explained that the company had been overwhelmed with orders and they had problems with the delivery companies, which they have changed. So if you are having similar issues I recommend that you keep emailing...
Late arrival
Rated poor as it took 2 weeks for the item to arrive, good job it wasn’t for an immediate occasion. Sent an email to ask when the likelihood of item arrival date would be, didn’t even get a reply...

Disappointing customer service
Really disappointing. I ordered a candle for a friend and paid £7 for next day delivery. The candle never arrived and I called a week later. The vendor agreed to replace the candle but I was still charged for the express delivery and the whole thing was made to feel like my problem and not theirs. The candle was apparently lovely, when it finally arrived, but there was no sense of the customer experience being really important. It’s easy to get good reviews when everything goes right, but I always feel that you test the values of a business when something fails and you see the reaction.
