I can't thank Nicola enough

I can't thank Nicola enough, I have just been through a lengthy and very difficult divorce and financial settlement over the last 4 years. My ex was a very difficult man who has made my life hell all the way through the process. Nicola has been amazing throughout, both in a professional and supportive manner, she has guided me with her expertise and scraped me off the ceiling a few times when I have been driven into panic mode.
I had no clue how to prepare a bundle for a Court hearing but didn't have to worry as Nicola certainly knows her stuff. I would not have won my case if it wasn't for Nicolas hard work and determination and the barrister that she recommended. I got to keep my home thanks to her and I will be eternally grateful. I would definitely recommend Nicola, she will go above and beyond as she has done for me. Thankyou so much Nicola.

The process was made as smooth and easy as possible. I felt supported from start to finish and help was always available to me. Unfortunately the other party in my divorce was very uncooperative but help and advice was available to me.
Would like to thank Wikivorce and would recommend using them to anyone.

Professional service, humanity, good value

Ruth & Ian were incredibly supportive and available. They spoke with compassion human to human as well from a legal advisory standpoint.
I would highly recommend the Wikivorce service.
My divorce in total cost £2k that included 3 mediation sessions, 30 mins with a solicitor, the consent order package including court fees and of course the divorce application. Obviously you can do it with fewer mediation sessions and without the solicitor, this would bring total cost down to £1.5k. I hope this helps.

Don't waste money on a solicitor......

At a very stressful time in my life, I discovered Wikivorce. I wish I'd known about them earlier. Nicola has been so helpful, I don't think I would have coped without her advice. Taking me through the divorce process step by step, from the awful form filling (Forms E, ES1, ES2 etc) to Position Statements. She's knowledgeable, kind and gives you her honest opinion. I had already spent £9,000 on a solicitor - I wish I had come straight to Wikivorce instead of wasting that huge amount of money - my divorce is now finalised, it's a huge relief. Thanks again!

I am extremely satisfied with the services which I have received

Nicola, words can't express my gratitude to you and the Wikivorce team for guiding me through a critical stage of my divorce. From day one, you maintained transparency, kept me informed, and went above and beyond with last-minute amendment requests before the financial remedy hearing. Your advice was spot on, and the documents you drafted were clear and concise—so much so that even the Honourable Judge commended them. You made the entire process smooth, with no anxiety about costs. I’m deeply thankful to you, the Wikivorce team, and founder Ian Rispin who has been an architect of the whole concept of Wikivorse.

Pay more for a faster service if you can

At first I thought this service would be great. The idea is great but the follow through is hard work. I get that going via a solicitor is about 3 or 4 times more, however I wish I had just paid more for a faster service. It take 10 days for majority of responses. My ex partner is notoriously slow at responding which doesn’t help however the last straw for me was when he was sent a password protected document to sign. I asked for help for this and don’t get responses so I have to wait at least 10 working days! It’s so frustrating.
My case was pretty straightforward. We both want the same thing and we had been to court. All the judge asked for was a consent order. Everything was provided.
My consent order has still not been sent. I’m waiting wondering if my ex husband has the D81 sent to him without a password. I’m in the dark and I need this to conclude. I’m not happy with this service at the moment. My ex had trouble signing the document and that contributed to some of the delays, however the solicitor dealing with my consent order is equally slow at responding or won’t respond with 10days

Objective assistance

It has been invaluable having helpful assistance with an emotionally difficult situation.

Wikivorce are divorce Samaritans. Most of the people I talked to were people who themselves has been through a divorce.

One can spend a great deal of money very quickly on divorce lawyers. they make money out of your misery. Wikivorce don't.

A top organisation, Thank you

Unquestionably excellent

Wikivorce were amazing at helping with the court process for a financial order. It was not a typical case, as there were no notable assets and a simple clean break was sought. So a clean break consent order agreed out of court would have been the obvious route. But we were dealing with a non-responsive, combative, chaotic OH who would not engage with any communication so were forced to take the court route, with neither party represented. Nicola helped with the whole process and in particular a positioning statement that led to the judge taking the unusual step of suggesting the parties agree to a clean break at the first hearing, and gaining that agreement, so that a financial clean break order was obtained at this early stage and we did not have to go through the trauma of further stressful court hearings. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services; Nicola's expertise and insight into how the courts and the people within them work made all the difference and we would not have achieved this outcome without her.

A superb, helpful and practical service

I was daunted by the whole process, at what was already a very stressful and upsetting time. Nicola was the voice or reason and a font of knowledge. My case was particularly complicated and went on for many years. I would not have been able to tackle the process successfully without Nicola's help. I would highly recommend the Wikivorce service to anyone who is unfortunate enough to be going through a divorce.

Wikivorce has been a life saver to me.

I can honestly say that Wikivorce has been a life saver to me. Every member of the team has been polite, helpful and professional. My experience has been way beyond my expectations thanks to Nicola's guidance, expert knowledge, patience, encouragement and numerous templates and guide notes which I received along my journey. Nicola has guided and helped me prepare thoroughly for two court sessions and I am now applying for a Consent Order having arrived at an agreement just before the Final Hearing. I had no prior knowledge of the divorce process at the start but have been expertly guided along every step of the way. I highly recommend this company.

Financial Consent Order

I used Wikivorce to help organise a Financial Consent Order. They provided excellent advice and arranged for a law firm to write up the agreement. I cannot fault the service and highly recommend Wikivorce to all.

Wikivorce 10/10

Big thank you to both Ruth and Nicola for all their help and support during a long divorce process.
Both were so professional throughout, informed, and reassuring at times too.
My refusal to use solicitors seems to have worked using Wikivorce.
This organisation is doing great things.
Divorce is brutal, Wikivorce reduced a lot of stress, general costs and in the end A LOT of solicitor fees.
End game Financial consent order was completed very quickly, 3rd party Brethertons equally efficient and understanding.
Thank you Wikivorce, can't recommend enough. AVOID LAWYERS IF YOU CAN

Brilliant!!!

Amazing help from all the team at Wikivorce for my complex divorce and contested financial remedy and court process. Costing a few £100’s rather than 1000’s I could not have done it without them. Both Nicola and Ruth were professional and brilliant from start to finish. Highly recommended!!!

STAY AWAY FROM WIKIVORCE - cowboys!

I paid 300 for a financial order. The solicitor was unresponsive. I asked Wikivorce for a refund, they said yes and then ignored my emails, I still await the refund. STAY AWAY FROM WIKIVORCE - they do not disclose their address to try to stop people from taking them to court to get their money back.

Reply from Wikivorce

I have reviewed your case and can confirm the following.
1) Our company details and address are published clearly on our About Us page.
2) You purchased a Consent Order service but ran into some communication difficulties with the solicitor, which I understand were related to you using an international phone number and being in a different time zone.
3) You requested a refund which we quickly agreed to.
4) A full refund has been processed.
5) Your refund was delayed due to the unusual circumstances - your original payment was made by another individual (presumably a friend) as an international bank transfer. This meant that we and our bank had to go through additional security procedures before sending payment.
6) On top of providing a full refund - we incurred considerable fees (approx £30) for the international transfer and also paid you back over £30 more in GBP that you paid us, so that you would not lose out due to currency fluctuations.
7) Thankyou for your feedback. Based on your experience we have reviewed and already made changes to our payment policy. To avoid similar issues in the future (i.e. delays in processing international refunds) we will no longer accept international bank transfers, and will instead direct all overseas clients to pay by debit/credit card or Paypal.

We are sorry that our service did not work out for you on this occasion, we wish you well with your case. If we can be of any further assistance please let us know.

Recommended sanity saver

Writing this several years after finding Wikivorce and Nicola saving my sanity (though i think i nearly stole hers with my lack of IT skills!)
Saved a fortune self representing with Nicolas help and used a barrister to bring the financials to an acceptable close at the 2nd hearing.
Would recommend, even if its just to access their free info and gen up about the divorce process but if you need your hand holding (and a swift kick when things arent going as well!) Nicola is the best!

Amazing Support 100%%%%%%

I cannot thank Nicola enough for all her time and patience for, what has been, a challenging situation. Her kindness and honesty have helped me keep a level head when it seemed all was falling down around me. I recommend Nicola and Wikivorce and would definately speak with them before a solicitor! When I spoke to solicitors, they were making such a "meal" of it and were only really concerned about their bank balance as far as I could see. A million thanks Nicola - absolute superstar!!!!!!

Ruth has been incredibly supportive and answered my many questions re my divorce with authority and clarity. She has set my mind at ease during a very troubled time, especially as I am now representing myself in the divorce process due to the huge cost of Solicitor’s fees. Highly recommended, thanks Ruth
