Excellent Service. Excellent Advice. Excellent People.
I used Wikivorce a couple of times throughout my divorce which was handled well by my solicitor. It was nice to be able to ask questions about something that I didn't quite fully understand when thinking about them after a discussion with my solicitor.
These calls were free and would have, undoubtedly, cost me a pretty penny if I'd called my solicitor.
The advice that I was given was virtually identical to that of my solicitor when discussed at a later date and was provided by competent, polite and very helpful Wikivorce staff. (I'm really sorry I can't remember your names.)
I didn't use Wikivorce as my main source for my divorce but I can say that I was extremely grateful for the service they provided. It was excellent.
I would 100% recommend Wikivorce.
Thanks.
Not all hero’s wear capes...
Wikivorce was recommended to me by a friend going through a messy divorce. I was really worried about costly solicitor fees and I didn’t need that additional stress in an already emotional situation. I spoke with Ian initially who was very patient and informative. I also spoke with Ruth who provided a lot of compassion and support. Nicola was the main person who dealt with my administration. Nicola is incredibly busy so don’t expect a quick response but when she does reply she gives you her full attention and you don’t feel rushed. The whole process took over 18 months from start to finish. The online Gov.uk process was incredibly quick!! The only real delay was from their recommended legal aid solicitors who abused the 10 day window for a reply.... but then again you don’t pay the big bucks and this isn’t a reflection on Wikivorce I just wanted to warn people it isn’t quick but it will get done eventually....! Good Luck to anyone going through Divorce - you can get through this and it will get better.
A wonderful service & lifeline
Thank you doesn't seem enough for a team that got me through a horrid chapter in my life, but I'm pleased to say I'm now out the other side. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Nicola's support in the last year or so. From initially helping me complete my Form E, to helping me look at settlement options, then guiding me through the court process when negotiations fell apart...Nicola has been there to help & advise, even putting me in touch with a barrister when I needed that little bit of extra help at the final stages.
Wikivorce is a lifeline & although my divorce has still cost me money, the costs are nowhere near what they would have been had I engaged the services of a traditional solicitor. I will always be grateful for the support & understanding I received & won't hesitate to recommend their services.
Enormously helpful and supportive
Ruth from wikivorce helped me at a time when i felt crushed by an expensive lawyer who cost me a fortune but did not get me to decree nisi in 4 months, I was so traumatized i just had to trust her and pay her until I reached double the cost of her initial estimate. I had a PTSD and i spoke to various lawyers and could not find a way forward. I called wikivorce and someone spoke to me for an hour. I had lost all sense of hope and then I had someone who would actually help me, I then spoke to Ruth who listened to me and offered support, she emailed me, supported me and helped me in every way she could for free. Unbelievable after my traumatic experience with the previous lawyer. I bought 2 packages and one did not work out but still i was ahead because of Ruth's support BUT Brethertons was outstanding, I cannot praise them enough for what they did for me. I will use Brethertons anytime i need a lawyer moving forward. Ruth and Brethertons managed my entire divorce successfully, finally after almost of a year of trying to get divorced i am nearly there. There is no registry of good lawyers but Brethertons would be at the top of that list. No other online divorce site would support me in the way that Wikivorce and Ruth has done. Some other online sites which i expected to be similar i thought were exploitative. The government site on divorce is helpful also. It's worth having the knowledge.
Phoned up to get some 'expert advice…
Just spend the last hour speaking to Ian who has totally changed my opinion of the Wikivorce.
Excellent service, very understanding and helpful. Just a pity my first encounter with a lady one the phone was very disappointing.
The lady that I originally spoken to needs some lessons in customer service so glad i don't have to deal with her anymore.
